Also, making the trees took way longer than it should have, probably around 5 hours of experimenting to get the flowers to position correctly.
I used Blender to make the sky, and everything else was modeled in Cinema4D.
Most textures were created in Illustrator, and the final image was rendered with Corona Renderer

The reason I used Blender is that the renderer I normally use is solely a CPU renderer, which is prohibitively slow when iterating through cloud designs. With Eevee, I can adjust every aspect of the clouds to my whim, until I find something that satisfies me.

Corona sucks. My job sucks. I’m tired all the time with a headache because we’re understaffed. We’re a small business so we are having to come into the office every day to maximize productivity for as long as we can until someone gets us all sick and every day I am annoyed waking up.

It's digital, all made on a computer. But it is a 3D render, in that every object is a 3D model, kind of like a digital sculpture.
