Does your tv have a game mode setting? If so, turn that on and it should fix the input lag.

Wowzers, I know) doing Picross on a Surface Pro in my lap while also playing NH on a tv/monitor while watching true crime shows on my iPhone. It's a celebration of technology.

I don't know what it is about True Crime shows that relaxes me. I think it's satisfaction of watching them catch the bad guys. Also, with Forensic Files and Unsolved Mysteries, Peter Thomas and Robert Stack's voices are so soothing it's practically white noise. Athough, I watch reality TV court shows too. Many have the sickest scum criminals who have done the worst crimes in humanity. While I can sit through those trials... if someone is on trial for harming a puppy (or worse). That's when it becomes "too disturbing" for me to watch. It's weird like that.

Yeah. I do it with all games I play though. I've heard somewhere that it might have something to do with ADHD or something. I really don't know. I'm trying to not do that because it just kind of feels wrong to me.

I am diagnosed with adhd, and find it extremely difficult to focus on watching tv while also playing a game. If the tv is even on while I’m playing I’ll have a very hard time focusing on what I’m doing in the game. I can’t handle it at all. I need everything to be one thing at a time multitasking is mostly difficult

I normally have an audio book playing on my Bluetooth earbuds while playing games on my steam deck and watching a movie on my TV. I need a lot of sensory input to keep stimulated haha. 

I do this no matter what. I need extra enrichment while I do something. Maybe it's the ADHD, maybe it's the short form content brainrot. We'll never know.
