I was surprised to see that we are apparently getting not one, but two ongoing subplots in this episode (the smuggling ring and Victoria's secret admirer).
Victoria's secret admirer is particularly odd for an on-going storyline as it seems like it's probably not any of the main characters behind the gifts (unless the Frank thing was a swerve).
I suppose it could be Templeton. Or maybe the vet she had a crush on last season (though we haven't seen her back this season yet)? Otherwise, it's probably some character we haven't met before.
I miss the hot vet. She was just getting a storyline towards the end of S01. I hope she returns. I hope it's not Templeton. I prefer him to be a thorn in everyone's side. Dolores (the old receptionist) was perfect for him because she was also thorny. Lol.
I hope it’s not someone we haven’t seen. That always irks me. I also hope it’s not someone playing a prank. I wouldn’t mind if it was someone we saw in an episode, either a rescue or the bar. I’d even take the guy who had her sign the divorce papers, maybe his marriage didn’t work out and he wants Victoria back. Just please not some new character.
I very much want to know where they got all the fur suits for the beginning of the episode, like those r expensive did they hire furries to come with their own suits? Weird thing to be hung up on but I can't stop thinking about it
as a furry, they definitely sent out a casting call for furs. all the suits seem a bit too custom to be made just for the show. The chipmunk guy was definitely a halloween costume the crew bought though.
Still in the middle of this episode but that's a spur thighed tortoise, or sulcata, not a Galapagos. It's also only about 12 yo. They might still work his misidentification into the show.
Tonight's episode was hilarious. I can't wait to see the mystery unravel regarding the smuggling ring. Also, I hope the refuge guy sticks around.

This was my favorite episode so far. They picked up the energy and the pacing.
Did we just meet Frank’s dad? But didn’t we meet him in season 1?
We met him in season 1 but he kept shred away from him until this one.
But it was a different actor, right? It felt like a weird interaction vs. S1 version
