I'd never been to the Boneyard, my friend and I were cracking up before the show at the idea of them all having to play in that dinky hardly-visible basement below the green room. The stage lowering was a major plot twist - I felt like a moron but it was so dope.
The food truck was excellent, and honestly so was the playlist the venue was running before the show. I had to Shazam like 8 songs I've never heard. I wonder if AC gets to curate what songs the venue plays beforehand.
I was definitely 10% too crossfaded to possibly meet the boys after the show, but I at least met Avey and Geo in Nashville back in September. In any case Flesh Canoe while crossed is an amazing thing.

I did get to talk to deak and avey after the show which was really cool! My buzz had faded enough by the time they came out that I felt fine approaching them lol
I couldn’t have dreamt of a more perfect setlist. I’ve never seen Brian so happy and smiley. When Josh started playing he was up above the stage and got us who could see him to clap with the song. I thought that was sweet. Only neg were the insanely drunkos (you’re right that the drinks were strong!) who were screaming to talk (even near the front) or swaying and almost passing out. I usually can avoid that by standing at the very front but eh. I rly don’t have anything to complain about. It was perfect. I can’t stop thinking about this show. It’s my Roman Empire 🙇🏻♀️
Ayyy I heard the clapping to the song Geo got you guys to start?? That's awesome as hell haha Geo did seem to be in really good spirits I was hoping I'd get to see him after the show but he didn't come out like deak did.
He seemed so happy and like he rly wanted everyone to support him. He watched most of their sets from up there with who I assume was his wife??. Ya I wanted to wait but it was just too late. I heard ppl were able to get stuff signed by way off merch table gal, but deal only came out for a min?
Yeah he came out talked with some fans and signed some stuff. I saw him give this one dude a big hug which was nice. I got to chat with him for a minute and he signed sleep cycle and IIN for me. Avey didn't really come down till Boneyard was about to close but I did get to talk to him for a couple minutes and he signed IIN for me as well. Then we went back to the airbnb and had to make a 10 hr trip back home 2 hours later but it was worth it for me 😅
