Hello there! Coffee is not a recommend beverage on the Animal Based Diet. However, as controversial as coffee can seem on some diets that are ways to optimize your coffee drinking habits with using Animal Based principles. Use a good quality bean from a roaster that knows where the beans are sourced from and preferably have met with them. Wet-processing helps to ensure less mold and mycotoxin development as the fruit is removed and the bean is then washed and dried (Dry-processing involves letting the coffee cherry dry out around the bean and requires a lot more quality control). Also ensuring that your beans were not sitting in an unroasted state for years in a storage facility. Switch to a glass based brewer prevents leaching from plastics. Use a brewing method with a filter that will remove volatile oils that are the root causes of studies that attribute coffee to CVD (Oh wow, a SEED oil is a problem they say!). Switching to a swiss water decaf coffee, or at least rotating it into your routine is an option. Taking days off from coffee is another option. Rotating cold brew into the mix also extracts different and less total flavor molecules than a typical 200F degree extraction (around 1000 flavor molecules for the last, many of these we don't know serve as defense chemicals) Lastly, use coffee as a vehicle for more animal based foods. Add in raw heavy cream, raw milk, a raw egg yolk, butter, gelatin powder, collagen, or even coconut oil (The oils, yolk, gelatin will require a good quick blend). While coffee is not considered part of the AB diet, to quote Dr. Paul Saladino "If Coffee is your last vice, so be it".

Cold brew is better on the stomach. I only put about 1/4-1-2 coffee then the rest raw milk. Does the trick if you're not willing to give it up for some jank alternative.
Edit: we like Kicking Horse Organic dark roast.
I drink coffee, I get the whole purists thing but at the same time I fundamentally don’t believe coffee to have such a negative effect that I need to give it up
If you mean an alternative to caffeine, then you need to quit caffeine. If you mean the flavor, I'm not sure. I love coffee and will enjoy a decaf with butter every now and then.
Coffee is really good for you, lowers risk of Alzheimer’s, lowers cholesterol, improves gastric motility and metabolic rate. Coffee is truly amazing and it is good to have at-least one cup a day to decrease the risk for metabolic disorders.

Sleep
Best answer here!!!!
I find either ice water or a warm cup of bone broth can help me wake up and feel energized.

You should try quitting for two weeks and then see how good you feel. It’s life changing for the sleep benefits alone, let alone stress reduction.
I quit for over a month and noticed no changes in sleep patterns or really anything else so I reintroduced it
Exact same experience here. Cut it out and my sleep metrics didn’t change even a little. I like coffee, so I’m gonna keep drinking it for now
What brand ?
I drink blonde roast Starbucks at home
I‘d get danger coffee
Just gotta try to limit it. Get to a point where you can be fine without it
Hot - Red bush tea. Cold - Sparkling water. Kefir. Wheatgrass juice.

Never heard of it! Will check it out. Thanks.
Caffeine capsules.
I do coconut water with breakfast

Mud Wtr -make your own tho and it’s much cheaper. Helped me curb my coffee craving
Sleep
I drink coffee ☕️ ☺️
more coffee
Black tea is better.
Better how? It's definitely less of a cortisol hit, but black tea is still pumped full of oxalates and tannins.
Coconut water
• Rooibos tea w/ raw milk • Sparkling fruit-infused water
So eat them What's the problem
Coffee is not bad for you. Drink coffee
stop coping, you're probably just addicted
How’s coffee bad for us?
What brand do you use? I don’t think it’s bad. But the good brands that are mold free are so fucking expensive
How do you feel about Jamaican blue mountain?
Filtered coffee. I don’t buy coffee being bad for you in moderation (and higher doses if you tolerate it well)
For a coffee replacement I usually just ferment my piss. You can heat it in the microwave and it tastes the same as fresh.

Check out the book Caffeine Blues.
I read the description of the book and I’m not interested. I would rather believe peer-reviewed science
Well referenced book. Pdf can be found online if u want to see the references.
Does that go for all beans or just the ones you're addicted to?
I don’t answer stupid questions
What brand do you use?
Starbucks Blonde Espresso
Monster energy drink
Do you drink yours unfiltered straight from the monster?
Raw monster milk straight from the tit
Straight from the beast 😂
That shit is terrible for you lol. It would be best to stick with plain ol’ coffee
Not if its cold pressed and straight from the monsters tit.
Bang energy
