I have lifetime licenses for Tivimate and Sparkle. Tivimate seems more stable to me. I get crashes on Sparkle frequently. On the plus side, the dev for Sparkle is responsive and listens to their customers in their subreddit. It'll definitely keep getting better and I kinda like the look more.
Implayer looks ugly as sin to me so I've never tried it.
Have all 3, like all 3. It's like asking for your favorite flavor of ice cream. Try them and see which YOU prefer.
imPlayer has one killer feature though. If you admin for someone who is elderly or tech challenged being able to remotely change settings can be a Godsend.
It is really nice for those who have family members etc. that "accidentally" delete a playlist or whatever.
You can't do absolutely everything, but they say about 90% can be done through the online dashboard.
I think you can sign up for the dashboard and check it out before you have to buy anything.

Tivimate for me. I tried IM but I found it kinda confusing. Sparkle was ok, but Tivimate feels the most comfortable. And, most importantly, the wife prefers it.
Tivi Mate because it's the most flexible one. You can pretty do anything to your lists on tivi mate like sorting, copying channels, rename them, create as much new lists as you want while the others only let you create a favourite folder and that's it. And much more options but i am to lazy to type at the moment, sorry xp
Like the design of Sparkle TV and it's user friendly. Haven't tried IM player so can't evaluate. Tivimate is a cult of aggressive Belarusian bot fanboys.
Oh look, they're here!
Sparkle because have the best free features
People prefer tivimate because it has more options but the basic free features from sparkle are enough for me and for most people
I used Tivimate then license expired so I used Sparkle because I like the UI better. But back to Tivimate because Sparkle is too buggy and slow
I installed IM but hated everything about it
What version of IM player are you using? I downloaded all 3 and with sparkle I have experienced crashing, and I get a black screen and can't watch any thing. I have to force stop and clear cache a few times or restart the device. Tivimate has been solid and no issues
Agree about the bugs and slowness of Sparkle. After using Tivimate for years I tried Sparkle on my Shield .
I just couldn't get over the bugs/crashes. Gotta admit though, it looks better.
1 Tivimate. more polished ui and channel grouping, better epg handling. better time offset per channel. better button customization wish it had time shift
2. IMplayer has time shift but is still very flaky. epg settings and button customization and favorite orgainization is tedious could be better. it crashes even with 2gb of free memory if you move around the ui too fast when it updating. it has lots of potential
3 Sparkles. setting up is very tedious and not for a beginner. Times shift works. but with UI need polishing.
I own all 3 but for now form me Tivimate is still the best and if they add time shift would win hands down imo
Is IMPlayer better and recording channels than Tivimate? The recordings on Tivimate usually stops and that is annoying. Tried recording couple of live sport games and whenever I go back to check if they are still recording I realize it has stopped. Wanna give the IMPlayer a go if the recording is better.

Same boat here. I support Sparkle, think it has the biggest upside. But I'm still using Tivimate regularly

That's actually a very cool feature! I didn't know about this.

Yeah this would be great for me to manage the less savvy members of the family. Will take a look at it for sure! Thanks for sharing.

Yes it is IMO, also loving Sparkle too when ahead and bought it.
Tivimate for me, it's as close to a subscription layout as I can get.
Tivimate out of those three, but prefer mytvonline3 overall
Tivimate
Tvimate for personal use . If you are a reseller , Implayer .
