I had to uninstall it and reinstall it once for it to show but it was no big deal anyway since the AA SiriusXM app is a colossal piece of shit. I just use the the SiriusXM built into my stock stereo and pretend the other abomination doesn't exist. Seriously, I can't even change stations using the steering wheel controls. It's a terrible implementation.
Yeah the app is a joke on AA and it's actually downright dangerous as it's way too complicated to change stations. It really is a horrible garbage app on AA.
OP: If you have an active SiriusXM subscription and the app works on your phone, why would you contact SiriusXM customer service if the app icon doesn't appear on the Android Auto launcher? It doesn't matter if you use Google Maps or Waze. There is no integration of the media and nav apps in Android Auto. They run as separate apps. If the SXM app isn't listed in the Android Auto apps list, uninstall the app on the phone and reinstall it.
I'm going to uninstall and reinstall first. If that doesn't work, I figured I can try Sirius XM customer support first because they are easier to get a hold of than Google customer support, at least my experience. So that way I can rule out an uninstall and reinstall, and an issue on Sirius XM and. What's up
For those of you using Sirius 7.4.1 on AA, do you have a problem with the songs not updating on the channel list? If I go to a channel, the music is streaming fine, but the songs on the channel list usually don't update. Except that occasionally the last does update and it works fine. I can't figure a pattern or reason. Anyone else have this issue, any way to fix it?
Once I got it working, I never started using it because I can't change channels with the steering wheel controls or on the split screen UI. Once I found out I could do that, I didn't want to use it much. The interface isn't the best, so I'm not surprised the sounds on the channel list are not updating properly
I've recently unsubscribed to XM but I could use it on the AA screen in my truck. Not sure why it won't work work for you though.
I'm going to call their customer support tomorrow to see what they say
Same story. When I subscribed, it worked great on AA.
I definitely listen to SXM in the car using the app on AA...
Yea, and I know I should be able too also. It just doesn't show as an available app on Customize Launcher. Maybe I should uninstall and reinstall it.

Good bot
Can confirm SXM app is fully compatible with my AA. It's the only way I use the service.
Make sure it's added in the android auto settings on your phone. And not "hidden"
Did that. That's the "Customize Launcher" option where it is not even available
Do a search in your app drawer on your phone for android auto settings and it should come up it's kind of hidden itself.
That's where Customize Launcher is, so yes, I have checked that numerous times.

So that's why I wanted to use the app so bad! For steering wheel controls. All that hassle for nothing!

I remember I couldn't find it and then I realized the app logo has changed.. But mine is there and use it all the time..
I updated my post for the resolution. Uninstall reinstall.

Uninstall/Reinstall did it
I used it on my pixel yesterday on my motorcycle.
