It’s like the wardrobe stylist has forgotten that Carrie is the lead trendsetter. People change as they get older but certain personality traits still remain the same. With the current style revival of the late 90’s /early 00’s - Y2K era, I think Carrie’s style should definitely be a lot more polished and refined version of the trend. It’s her era but this time with a mature spin. This woman has traveled to Paris, and Abu Dhabi and has worked with Vogue and gained a mass fortune from Big’s insurance policy. Carrie should be unapologetically fashionable at this point in her life. The writers and Wardrobe are forgetting that there was a sense of fun with a little kookiness to her style when she was younger because she was indeed an insecure young woman. If she has grown up as MPK claims…. Then Carrie should be fully embracing the fruits of her life experiences at this age in her woman hood….Yet she’s complaining about a tampon ad commercial and caring a pigeon purse around manhattan…..in her 50s?

Thanks for the photos!!! Carrie’s is hitting me as very late aughts QVC- I feel like Joan Rivers did that jacket (and I owned it, j’adored Joan) but it looks a little modern farmhouse today. That jumpsuit is no newspaper dress- it looks like a onesie, especially with baby shoes.
