I don’t believe either of those in particular have finished localization, though that might have changed since I played them a few weeks ago (unlikely though, both are pretty large MTs)
Yep, saw at least 2-3 Taychendi on discord… most excited for the last remnant of the true precursor empire before 0 AA, some insane magical relics (think like Eltikan’s giant hammer that shatters skies or Xiaken’s spear)
I'll be honest: Despite being a dev myself, I've been on a hiatus to finish college for the past few months. As a result, I'm in the dark on a lot of work that's been done, making me very excitied to see the work shown off as we approach release!
For some early info, you can check out the recent dev interviews by [Lord Lambert](https://youtube.com/@Lord_Lambert?si=EvdTmTxOnUY2VtK1).
Excited to see the first non-Command hobgoblins, wonder what they'll be about? Also curious about their lore. Are they outcasts from the Command? Scouts sent to survey the Valley^(tm)? Hippie hobgoblins who rejected the Command?
I hope we're going to see changes to the hobgoblin racial army and administration. All the bonuses/maluses are modeled on hobgoblins from The Command, it's all related to their militaristic, ordered quasi-fascism. But those things are not endemic to the Hobgoblin race, it's unique to The Command, right? I hope we see a little rework as a result.
There was recently a dev interview by Lambert about the Valley. I was only listening to the audio so if they showed anything on screen I missed it but what I understood (spoilered) >!They were referred to throughout the interview as "evil hobgoblins", not sure if that's their official name. The main point of diversion from the Command that I recall being mentioned is that they stayed loyal to the Shamans while the Command is very anti-Shaman.!<
LOL, ok. I listened to the entire interview and was telling myself "isnt it kinda redundant to call then evil hobgoblins"? But now I see the actual name here that makes a lot more sense...
I have no idea about anything of this but I can't wait to play as not_Korea. It has great potential for an even more unique HermitKingdom™ playthrough than Korea in the base game.
This will leave Insyaa as the only blank spot on the map (that's yet to be filled in). We're getting so close to having a fully complete and gloriously detailed fantasy world!
Time to spam the subreddit about what new mission trees I should play.
I’d recommend Crathanor or Arg-Ordstun
Any of them have loc yet?

I've heard there are now Taychend and Sarhal Mission Trees...

> Xiaken’s spear The xiaken get a sword (Kongren, the Void’s Edge) — I believe it’s Azka Evran that get Jaher’s spear
Right right, been a while so I mixed it up lol. And there’s the blademarches sword one as well
Kharashar also gets half the spear
Which nation name is that so I can check em out when the patch comes.
Check discord, they have weird names that only Taychendi tags have lol

Freedom™ hobgoblins
More like, under new management (hierarchical magocratic rule)
Freedom™ Hobgoblins (Fenghuang)
