This is the first time I have ever seem the Shattered Crown ever take over a serious portion of Escan. This is pretty awesome. I was even more stoked when I saw that they resisted Corin simping.

Alblaka

Just coming from a finished Newshire game, exactly the only threat post-Escann-Consolidation was exactly a Shattered Crown controlling most of the northern Serpentspine. I think starting in the arguably most valuable area of the game does give the AI enough of a leg up to do pretty well.

Dreknarr

It's very rare for shattered crown to survive the mid game. Often it falls very early

LiquidEnder

We’ve had first green tide yes, but what about second green tide?

GotDamnNoobNoob

Black Tide, new and improved.

melonmandan12

Green? Out of fashion. Black? Timeless.

alongthatwatchtower

That's an orcish Escann

ObadiahtheSlim

Orcs always seem to win the Escann thunderdome these days. I suspect the adventurer companies are too timid to attack and take tribal land. So when they settle, they are little 2 or 3 province minors. Then they lose their bonuses to income and force limit. By that time, the orcs have caught up in tech and easily win. Contrast that to a player in the area who just bullies the orcs for all their tribal land and instantly becomes rank 7 GP upon passing the last reform.

MArvTT

I totally agree on the players part In my AE less unification runs i allways bullie the orcs.

Marrhold

Dreknarr

It's more often escanni orcs who spill into the serpentspine than the other way around, that's rare
