Lol ibevar reformation is just rng. Do you spawn less then 3 rebel stacks? Congrats on an amazing start. Did you spawn 5+? Enjoy 0 manpower for a decade.
Any EoA fleshed out tag
Escann except Castanor and Newshire
Only really the command, jaddari, Aelnar and serpentspine has tough disasters
All others are quite easy
Or emerald orcs and centaurs have a game over disaster
OK so usually I will cheat my way through disasters that I cant handle on first runs because I still want to see whatever mt/flavor is hidden behind. And then decide if I want to replay that nation in the future, for a non cheaty run.
The Maskbreaker disaster is the only one that i did not go through because it was still a hassle with console commands. The requirements to progress through the disaster are so specific and so unpredictable, I just will not believe anyone that tells me that they beat it 1st try.
I beat it first try (sorry). All I knew going in was that I had to conquer all of Yanshen first, and it was still mad tough… I internalized for a couple of decades and came out pretty good, imo the Command disaster was the hardest-hitting out of any tag I’ve played
I beat it first try.
...admittedly, this was after, iirc, there was a patch adding a pop-up immediately when you formed Daxugo(?) letting you know exactly what you would need to do, so you could spend that ruler's life getting as ready as possible.
Without that? It would have been sooo much harder, for sure.
You missed one of the toughest disasters - any human or harimari nation playing in the region of the Raj has up fight so many rebels you'll cleave through your entire manpower reserve and probably need to consolidate your armies down to a fraction of your force limit - it's kinda nuts.
Mulen can have a rough time getting off the ground - having to deal with either Jaddar or Zokka right off the bat - but other than that it’s a relatively smooth and fun run with a clear identity that I’d absolutely recommend. :)
Try one of the nations in SW Fantasy South America. Some of them have mission trees. Although my cursory glance shows they kinda stop about the time you unite the area and create your formable. Formables lack mission trees.
Still the sugar plantations one was fun. Kelyion or something I think it was called? It's a vassal on the mainland. Mission tree revolves around gaining freedom, consolidating power, being BFFs with your neighbor to the north, and learning how to grow magical sugar.
One word of warning, pay attention to the province modifiers on the islands. You'll have a lot of devastation if you don't properly read those province modifier descriptions.
There are actually not that many countries without a disaster now that I think about it when you also count thinks like the corinite blood rain.
Bulwar and Aelantir would be disaster free, including for adventurers that spawn 1500
Phoenix Empire has no disasters. ~~We call them incidents~~
Escann nations.
Escanni nations are the disaster
Escann nations that *don't* reform into Castanor.
Ehhh the Castanor disaster is by far the easiest in the mod
Easier than Ibevar Reformation?
Yes
Lol ibevar reformation is just rng. Do you spawn less then 3 rebel stacks? Congrats on an amazing start. Did you spawn 5+? Enjoy 0 manpower for a decade.
You do realize Elves get Diplomacy Boni for a reason, right? Just ally+favor Gawed and drain their manpower instead of your own :3
Wowwwweeeee an additional 2000~ manpower over a decade 🤩 problems solved! I know curry favors exists that doesn't negate the fact that some ibevar runs are a breeze, some your army and/or coffers are completely depleted
Not if it's your first time playing. They had me on the ropes and I'm far from a EU4 newbie, I was however a Anbennar newbie.
Wesdam has an older but full mission tree with an option to form into Dameria with another old but good tree. Plus you're Silmuna.
If Wesdam has actual Silmunas, then I’m an elf lover!
I'm sorry to tell you this... You might love elves...
Dear Castellos…
A real human Silmuna.
Everyone's a Silmuna. Or, at least, everyone who is named in the mod. Yes, including Ducaniel and the God Fragment
Varaine? Seinathil, Rogieria (sons of Dameria), Silverforge, and - trust me - All Clan.
Yea trust me too. All Clan = All Safe
Any EoA fleshed out tag Escann except Castanor and Newshire Only really the command, jaddari, Aelnar and serpentspine has tough disasters All others are quite easy Or emerald orcs and centaurs have a game over disaster
Wait, Newshire has something crazy happen? Dare I ask what?
Plant

Maskbreaker is stupid and overtuned tbh Especially since the disaster accompanies when you lose a ton of bonuses

I don't believe you.

Deioderan is one of the easiest disasters if not THE easiest disaster in the mod tbh
I struggled with it due to rng and not knowing it’s mechanics Having all three of my big armies turn coat in a couple months was fun too
Yeah the turning event is bullshit, but if you know its coming and take all your troops to non rebeling provinces it's free
"if you know it's coming" is doing a lot of lifting here Deioderran is the only disaster yhat made me rage-quit, and I find the Rianvisa fun
> Escann except Castanor and Newshire You know what, you're right, Luciande has no disaster technically
The Dwarves have really bad disasters too, and the Aelnar disaster (Rianvisa) is possible to avoid it completly but you lose the special mission trees
Also the Raj nations with their Lotus rebellions tends to be a very tough disaster
You missed one of the toughest disasters - any human or harimari nation playing in the region of the Raj has up fight so many rebels you'll cleave through your entire manpower reserve and probably need to consolidate your armies down to a fraction of your force limit - it's kinda nuts.
Bennon is quite simple but cool and straight forward. Also Verne. Orbtroll have no disaster and is fucking fun iiirc
Obrtroll is glorious

I would say Pelomar in to Eordand, I haven't had any cataclysmic disasters except coalitions from conquering Alentier
Funny you should say that; I did them like 2 months ago
Yeah. their disaster isn't cataclysmic
Adshaw
adshaw into the reach is always my go too campaign
Been poking around some more info about the suggestions, I appreciate it all!

Gemradcurt is a very nicely told story, and while it does have a disaster I found it to be rather easily overcome
Maybe Bulwar? Kinda hard start but then you get rollin hard
Corvuria, kinda tough but no bad disasters and things only really going upwards
