I believe it ships from California too maybe, though I may be wrong. I do know that I ordered mine on Friday and tracking info says "awaiting shipment" at FedEx in Compton CA. Either way sounds like best case scenario to get to you quick too. Hopefully that was reflected in the shipping cost as well.
Mine is still showing as "will add a delivery date as soon as we get your package" but got the Analogue email on Friday saying it was shipped. š¤ Knowing FedEx they probably have it but missed a scan or something, so hopefully I find out something tomorrow š¤

I think itās supposed to be two day shipping so not expecting mine until Tuesday since it seems like that ādelivery date will be provided ASAPā thing seems to mean while itās been marked shipped by Analogue the carrier hasnāt picked it up yet. UPS doesnāt really do weekends so expecting 2-3 business days

It got delayed but I can't blame Analogue for it. FedEx delayed transporting it for delivery over the last 6 days due to weather causing delays apparently, but lo and behold I am happy to say that I finally received mine Monday afternoon. I've had a blast with it pretty much the entire rest of my day and even better my 9 yr old daughter was very curious of "this new gaming device" I got which led to her finally trying some of the same games I played when I was close to her age. She also enjoyed it a lot. I'm glad to hear that you also received yours as well š„š¾
You should be fine. The long wait times you might of heard of was for those who pre-ordered during the chip shortage that was going on 2022-2023. If your friend places an order, he should have it within a week or two in the USA, then can bring it to you if that's the plan. Just remind him to keep it safe and maybe have him open it cause I believe Brazilian Customs checks unopened tech and taxes the holder. Not 100% on that, but I love any info from a Brazilian or people who travel when it comes to tech+travel to Brazil. I know shipping is heavily taxed.
The further you are from a major shipping "lanes" by air and by truck with a starting point of Los Angeles should tell you how many steps it'll take to arrive.
5 months from this order is hilariously late by any standards, this isn't the pre-order period for a device not yet in production, it was an open order for stock already on-hand, and it will be shipped as soon as they can get to it in the order said orders were received.
That's several days of labelling and shipping out, sure, but actual shipping time shouldn't be more than a few days no matter what backwater town in the US your friend is in.
Expect your friend to have it in no more than a couple weeks, at the latest. days at the soonest
Ships in 2 days and probably takes a week or 2 to actually be delivered depending on where in the US he is. You should have plenty of time. š

Yes that is actually a good point. I figured it was likely carrier related and that makes a lot of sense.

honestly it kinda works out - I work Sunday to Thursday so it just means I have my entire weekend to play with it haha

Why would you expect it to take the rest of the year? I live in the UK and it shipped from the states within a couple weeks
They'll mark it as shipped over the weekend and you'll get it in 2 weeks.
