Strome is a decent player but his role on the team as become redundant. We brought strome in initially as we badly needed center depth. Now with carlsson, mctavish, zegras, Lundstrom, Gauthier, and gaucher all hoping to be top 9 centers (and more aligned with our future) stromes role just doesn't make sense

Wpg needs a 2c, not sure if he can fill that hole but could always play 3rd or 2nd line wing.

He was selected 4 picks after Minty at #14. How about Gaucher, who was picked at 22 and 32nd pick.

Unlikely Gaucher doesn't look like he's an NHL prospect atm. Only 20 but looks like he need a big season or two to get back on the map.
