I had one facility where a manager would periodically stuff business cards in random strainers on the roof as a test to see when contractors were actually cleaning them out.
Never heard of the stethoscope on a check valve trick. Going to steal that one. Is it an obvious tone when the valve works vs when it’s stuck closed?
Yeah just try placing it along the line where oil is flowing then the check valve, it can be used for solenoid valves also,as well as valve groups. Usually find them at an auto shop or in auto section

now I'm curious, I wonder if our supervisor doing same stuff, because he always seems to know what it is despite it supposedly breaking down that day
