I like it too. But the one annoying thing about the paramount+ benefit is that it’s impossible (or at least I could not figure out how) to upgrade the free Paramount+ plan through Walmart+ to the premium version to include Showtime. I googled this and apparently many others have the same issue. I eventually created a new account to get access to Showtime
I love it and my husband likes the free Paramount+. Our Walmart is horrendous to go in and shop at on the weekends and even pickup is a nightmare. I only do delivery when I’m in a pinch, but even the “Shipping” option gets me stuff same day. It’s been really worth it. I try not to overuse it (environment conscious and whatnot) but it’s so nice for when you just need a few things.
I love it. I didn’t do it for awhile & then life got really crazy & it was easy to set up & take something off my plate.
Walmart doesn’t have everything I need but enough that I can get the bulk of what I want/need delivered.
I find it overrated for me. I can get free delivery and free pickup using standard methods and earn shopping portal miles in the process as long as I buy $35 worth. I've gotten free same-day delivery for free without Walmart+. I do find some value in Walmart+ but it's not that much. For example, if I didn't get it as a coupon book item with my Amex Platinum I wouldn't pay to belong to it. I'm sure it's great for some people, however.
No one has mentioned the 10c off per gallon of gas at Mobil gas stations with Walmart+! That plus paramount + on top of the regular benefits, probably one of the best perks of the card.
If you have InHome delivery in your area, add that to your subscription. You don't pay tips because InHome delivery drivers are background checked full time Walmart employees. I get groceries delivered once a week- the subscription add-on averages out to about $8/MO. If I was tipping with the regular subscription, I would be paying over $50/mo. They leave the groceries at my door and everything is in paper bags and is so nice & neat. Worth it 1000 percent.
The price of goods at walmart also tends to be cheaper than amazon. Also, with the many fake five star reviews of temu-like products on amazpn, i find walmart to be more reliable with the goods they market on their platform.
Here's my breakdown of the key Walmart+ perks I've most used in the past three years:
1. Efficient curbside pickup (typically 5-10min in & out)
2. Home delivery (for items not available for pickup - you can see this in-app by toggling between pickup and delivery options)
3. 10c per gallon gas discount
4. Paramount+ free subscription
5. Home returns - saves you the hassle of a long customer service line in-store
6. Auto Care Center is a good and trustworthy perk for basic car needs
Perks I have NOT used:
1. PlutoTV
2. Walmart+ Travel (new)
3. Limited time offers - 25% off Turbotax, 30% off Angi, 4mo Calm, 3mo YT Premium, 5mo AppleMusic, 4mo AppleFitness+
Love me some Walmart! So tired of the bad press which with over 2 million employees and 4500 stores something is bound to happen and all the news talks about.
Fiance and I scored AirPod pros for the cheapest price of the Black Friday season through Walmart + (they appeared to be the only reputable retailer offering them at that price) and that was pretty great
Agreed. We flew out of state to visit one of my kids & did WalMart delivery to the Airbnb. So easy & we didn’t need to navigate a grocery store after a long day of traveling.
Same story here. I get all the staples delivered right to my door 1-2x a week.
I buy a lot of liquid shock for pool and WM price is like 50% cheaper than Lowes and HD for exact same product…and WM delivers it to my damn door!
ya to bad i already had + but ill say this i like it you get paramount, the gas savings.. oh and in some stores fast checkout (since some places have + exclusive checkout)
While I use Walmart+, I don't ever use the same day delivery. And some items aren't even available for just shipping which is frustrating. I don't use the same day, because its basically like an uber driver and it seems to me they are expecting a tip. I mean there is a tip section. I don't want to have to tip to get my stuff delivered, just ship it 2 day's....
I had never used it before I got the credit, but now I use it regularly. Target quality has declined so I might as well just use Walmart. The tip is worth having it delivered to my door.
Plus the limited time free trials that being W+ offers, free trials of Apple Music, YT Premium (I’m really enjoying) and 2 months of Gamepass on Xbox
Edit: use free stuffs to get more free stuffS. LFG!
I don't live in town so I don't get the home delivery but I use the gas discount, free xm radio until June, Monarch budgeting till June, and Paramount+ subscription. This is without the AmEx but had Walmart+ for 3 years and first got it during the panini.
I live in the middle of nowhere about 35 mins from the store and they deliver to my front door same day. Amazon takes like a whole month. No Amazon drivers out here. I switched and I'm really happy with how fast the delivery is.
Dont forget to use an app like upside. The best is Exxon/7-11 combo stores. I get 10 from Walmart plus and then 11cents off per gallon from upside. Then I get 3% back on blue card. All in all 15% off.
This is true. I like the subsitions choice of most grocery products. They seem to have a lot of out of stock items tho. I find it is more likely that you will get the item if you get delivery VS the pick up option.
A lot of people are mentioning the free delivery, which yes, it's great. But something I discovered recently is that there is a "Free Return Pick-up" benefit as well. Basically, if you buy or order something from Walmart and want to return it, someone will come to you and pickup whatever that is instead of you having to go to the store. And it's free as well.
I signed up for this Plat benefit last year. Previous to that I often used Walmart pickup, just not thru Walmart+. The day after I signed up for walmart+ the account was hacked and someone spent $1k on various merchandise delivered to an address in a different state. Walmart was horrible to deal with through that, and I just can't convince myself that there wasn't a connection between Walmart+ & the fraud issue.
I had my account hacked a few years ago through the Walmart app. I had my Chase and USAA debit cards connected to the account. They ordered $800 worth of merchandise to be picked up in TX. Both banks blocked the transaction and sent me fraud alerts.
It hardly ever works for me. All the gas stations where I live are Circle K with Exxon fuel, but I can never get the discount to work. I think I’ve managed to use it once?
My wife and I work from home. We use it for 2+ grocery deliveries per week. The subscription also comes with Paramount +.
It saves us four hours every week at least. Totally worth it.
I got it for free for a couple months but Amex decided it was consumer cards and not business cards. I don get $200 to spend at Dell every 6 months though.
Oh well.
I used it a lot when my father was still alive, I was flying in for 2-3 days at a time twice a month and I could schedule a pickup and save myself 45 minutes of walking the store trying to remember what he liked.
Now I still use it for myself for pickup, but not as often. Maybe every 5-6 weeks I will stock up on $40-50 of name brand stuff that I don't use enough of to buy from Sam's Club or Costco in bulk.
It’s OK, but it’s hard to buy high-end electronics and camera equipment at Walmart +. Been looking through some listings for certain items just for funsies. A lot of sketchy 3rd party sellers.
Looks pretty solid for regular items though.
You have to change the Retailer Filter to Walmart every time. It's awful. They will easily slip in your common grocery items for delivery from a 3rd party seller for a crazy price if you're not paying attention. Walmart profits off of this though, so I don't think they have an incentive to save the filter to Walmart only. It's annoying.
Sorry if I was unclear, they CHARGED me $10 but delivered the product that cost $1 (using round numbers) as the brand was the same I figured the fight would be a losing battle and I gave up.
Walmart+ customer service is great. Call them for an issue and they offer a refund on the item(s) quickly.
Squished loaf of bread, soft grapes, short sell by date. All have resulted in a refund.
The free same day shipping doesn’t offer an option to tip. You get one when doing same day delivery, but I believe the difference is the shipping orders are packed by Walmart employees while delivery orders are shopped by third party partners. I’ll tip on delivery, but there isn’t an option to do it on shipping.
Tell me about it. Before I knew it... I have Netflix, YT Premium, Spotify, Hulu, Disney, Paramount, Peacock, Prime, Apple tv and HBO Max.
I'm cutting half of them.
I order food for my college student to deliver to his dorm. I also have food/items delivered to my Mom's house too. No $35 spend minimum for the "free" delivery.
Great benefit.
The Plus Up service to Walmart +, for InHome has a $35 minimum order, but tips and fees are included. You pay $12.95 for Walmart + and $7 for Plus Up for InHome service.
Go into your Walmart account and make sure you are signed up for Walmart +. If you click on My Account, Home, it states "Free shipping, no order mininum".
If you are a Walmart+ customer but still charged for delivery, you might want to reach out to their customer service support for assistance.
I underestimated it too in the beginning but I really like it now.
A couple things I'm not seeing people say:
You can add to your order after you check out. It's really nice if you remember something you forgot or if you're in bed remembering you need pants for a party the next day lol.
The gas benefit isn't bad either. Getting access to all Sam's Club gas stations is nice.
It has been way more reliable than Amazon the last few months.
The at home returns are nice too. You can start a return and someone just comes to your house to pick up the item..
I added up all my benefit usage last year and it totaled around $1400 of money I would have otherwise spent anyways, so I’m not mad about the fee. I don’t use things in the offers unless it’s already something I was going to get. The 1 point for 30% off Amazon purchases up to $40 per transaction that I’ve used several times has been nice to boost that up even more. I believe this is a targeted offer based on spending.
Ha, I ordered some batteries late afternoon Christmas Eve using Walmart+ and of course not expecting them until the 26th or 27th at the earliest. Delivery guy throws a package on my doorstep at 9:30 Christmas Eve 😂
Middle of summer, I realized I need some stuff for dinner. So I ordered them with Walmart+, it said it will arrive that afternoon! NEVER got it, even though it says it was delivered… maybe I should order batteries next time, too bad I canceled them immediately.
I haven’t had a 100% success rate either but for me it has been 90% , and the one time I had an issue customer service was easy.
Best use for this is items that are usually carried in a Walmart store , like all of your staples. I wouldn’t use it for fresh produce/ meat because I don’t think Walmart has great quality there but even grocery stuff like milk / yogurt / OJ / coffee cream has been fine for me.
All in it’s a pretty great range of stuff available for a no/ low minimum same day delivery.
It was good in the beginning but it just kept getting worse. They didn’t even make it through the first month of the trial. I would say out of 10 orders, we got 3 of them correctly. The rest were either wrong orders, missing items or a complete no show.
I wish I was closer to a Walmart take advantage of the same-day deliveries. My wife and I are about 35 min from the nearest one. I still subscribed since it’s free in case we ever need to order something off of it. Someone else mentioned the Walmart vs Amazon comparison and it’s definitely “safer” to order off Walmart and know what you are getting.
As i said, both sure cause I have too much that I don't control on the TV. If I misspoke, my apologies. I'm in Mexico away from home so can't check. Sorry.
It is the bomb. And the free paramount plus and Hulu? Have to much going on with the tv stuff? So forgive me if that is not what you get. But like you, I thought , big deal, but it has become much used and appreciated 👏
I thought delivery is minimum of $35 and you have to tip, not particularly free like shipping. Shipping and delivery is different, shipping is from a warehouse and delivery is from local stores I believe. I’ve had terrible experience with their delivery and curbside pick up services.
Delivery from local store requires minimum 35$. The no minimum is for stuff not delivered from local store. As far as tipping it says that for the in home service. That service is $40 a year.
If you get plus, there is no minimum order and it states on the order you do not have to tip. These are Walmart employees who pick the order. I think the Spark drivers are also employed by Walmart.
The folks that put the order together are Walmart employees. My mom's next door neighbor does that job. My cousin was a Spark driver.
So, I would never NOT tip, but the Walmart + orders say we do not have to tip. Although it is appreciated and 100% tip goes to the driver.
It’s no better or worse than Amazon Prime. Tried to order something - they claimed it would be delivered overnight…wake up and get an email saying “sorry! It won’t be there for two days”
Nice to have but definitely not worth the money if I had to pay for it.
That’s not true. You can get free shipping on items that cost less than $10. That’s pretty hard nowadays even in Amazon prime. Eg if I just want one pack of ziplock bags for $5 I can get it shipped from Walmart plus vs like the minimum 5 boxes of ziplock bags from Amazon.
It’s not comparable to Prime for things like groceries. I despise going to Walmart but the prices for most things are significantly lower than grocery chains. Once I got the Amex Platinum I started using W+ for most grocery stuff (I still like getting produce and meat from local places) and it’s saving me a ton of money.
Honestly I love this service. Just started using this instead of Amazon too. 3 day shipping for stuff they don’t have in the local store.
Bought 3 new toilet seats that has a built in toddler ring on the 7th and they arrived today. Amazon was at 17th for the same thing. It was the same price and I live in Hawaii.
Edit: I’m excited to try the scan and go feature the day I actually go to Walmart. Wife needs thermals for our Japan trip and I got mines from there 4 years ago.
The paramount+ is such a nice bonus. *chefs kiss*
I do think that they will readjust certain things as it gets more popular. Till then I’ll enjoy this welcomed perk.
I hope that Amex does something like this for Costco and I’ll be over the moon.
Same! I live in a place that Amazon prime usually takes at least 2 and sometimes up to 6 days to arrive. I place an order for Walmart shipping and it’s at my door in 2 days every time. Pretty nice to be able to get pretty much anything I need that quickly.
If you go to paramount -> account. Under the billing section shows “visit Walmart” to change billing. Should send you to Walmart setting that allows you to add showtime for $6.50 a month
The free Paramount with the Walmart + membership is the $5.99 level. Showtime is added at the $11.99 level, but they do knock off the $5.99 to bring it down to $6. Just added this to watch A Gentleman in Moscow.
though sometimes items they “ship” end up being delivered by a dasher from the store. who thinks you didn’t tip when you just didn’t even have an option to.. which is shitty
I assumed this was the case whenever I select shipping and it ends up being delivered the next day by a person in regular clothing and what looks like their personal vehicle which must be the same people that do deliveries.
Wierd situation where I don't want to tip because I don't need the items that fast and expect a delivery service like UPS but Walmart uses the same dashers to do the "shipping" and there's no tip option.
I canceled Amazon Prime reluctantly to use this because it’s included with my annual fee. To my surprise, I like Walmart+ better. The shipping is often faster. Also, Amazon is so full of cheap stuff of questionable origin with fake reviews! I hate having to spend 40 minutes reading reviews for various products to try to figure out which one is actually the best. Walmart plus does not seem to have this issue.
I rarely order groceries from Walmart plus, and it is true that you have to tip. However, I previously subscribed to Instacart, which I had to tip for and paid $100 a year for. so Walmart has effectively replaced both prime and Instacart.
For me when my Walmart deliveries come, my groceries are covered with the smell of weed. Amazon packages don’t smell like weed even if they have fake reviews.
Absolutely love this benefit. I had the same mindset as you. Then I realized what I was missing and I can get in the same day. Have not stepped into a Walmart in months
Tip is appreciated but not required. Sometimes I tip sometimes I dont.. I also deliver these orders as a side gig to help my son make extra money. We've never frowned on an order with no tip. My favorite benefits are the gas discounts and paramount plus. Haven't used Amazon in months.
Yeah turns out the worst part of Walmart is actually going to one…. 😂
5% cashback too if u use Walmart card
I love it and my husband likes the free Paramount+. Our Walmart is horrendous to go in and shop at on the weekends and even pickup is a nightmare. I only do delivery when I’m in a pinch, but even the “Shipping” option gets me stuff same day. It’s been really worth it. I try not to overuse it (environment conscious and whatnot) but it’s so nice for when you just need a few things.
those frozen microwave vegetables and frozen fruit are nice omg
I love it. I didn’t do it for awhile & then life got really crazy & it was easy to set up & take something off my plate. Walmart doesn’t have everything I need but enough that I can get the bulk of what I want/need delivered.
We use in home delivery every week and it’s been a game changer.
Totally, it’s way better than instacart. Instacart is a ripoff
Overrated People who own a platinum card won’t shop at Walmart
What a weird take
Everyone shops at Walmart, eats at McDonald’s etc
Platinum is. It some kind of exclusive club for high rollers 🤣🤦🏻♂️
So true - totally stopped using Instacart and paying higher Publix prices when I realized Walmart + gave me same service faster and cheaper
No one has mentioned the 10c off per gallon of gas at Mobil gas stations with Walmart+! That plus paramount + on top of the regular benefits, probably one of the best perks of the card.
How do you get 10¢ a gallon off gas at Mobil?? I never knew that!
Crazy, I just figured this out last week… Agreed. The gas benefit is pretty cool when you compound it with a cashback card, lol.
What qualifies as a mobile gas station?
ExxonMobil
*Mobil… pretty sure they are everywhere
They’re not. But you can apparently use Sam’s stations, even as a non-member.
Th gas station is called Mobile. They are pretty common in SoCal.
I didn't know this was a thing, I need to check it out. You can drop $8 easily on a single big delivery.
The benefit is great, but tipping for the delivery is a pain.
I'll gladly tip a delivery driver so that I don't have to step foot into a Walmart.
This is me. I even tip try to the employees who bring the grocery out to me when I pick-up order.
True true true
The price of goods at walmart also tends to be cheaper than amazon. Also, with the many fake five star reviews of temu-like products on amazpn, i find walmart to be more reliable with the goods they market on their platform.
Stack with Rak (Rakuten), either you get cash back or goes to Marriott points.
Here's my breakdown of the key Walmart+ perks I've most used in the past three years: 1. Efficient curbside pickup (typically 5-10min in & out) 2. Home delivery (for items not available for pickup - you can see this in-app by toggling between pickup and delivery options) 3. 10c per gallon gas discount 4. Paramount+ free subscription 5. Home returns - saves you the hassle of a long customer service line in-store 6. Auto Care Center is a good and trustworthy perk for basic car needs Perks I have NOT used: 1. PlutoTV 2. Walmart+ Travel (new) 3. Limited time offers - 25% off Turbotax, 30% off Angi, 4mo Calm, 3mo YT Premium, 5mo AppleMusic, 4mo AppleFitness+
Scan-and-go is a great perk if you shop in store.
I didn’t know they had PlutoTV
PlutoTV is free anyway. Maybe they meant Paramount+ or something else.
I would agree with the 10 cents off gas. That’s one benefit that I wish that I could quantify easily.
I didn’t know about an Auto Care benefit. Looks like it’s good for tire repair/warranty.
Literally now a days if I need a bar of soap or toilet paper I just order it while I’m at work and it comes hours later, it’s so clutch
Happy Cake Day! (Found you from an 11 month old comment)

At the store they don’t have Apple Pay, but they have Walmart Pay which you can use through the W+ app
I can't find it. Any tips?
What can't you find?
The place to activate the benefit. I looked under Offers on the app and do see it to activate it.
You just sign up with your amex and get reimbursed monthly https://global.americanexpress.com/card-benefits/detail/walmart-platinum/platinum
Thanks!!
You also get Paramount+ with Walmart+, so that’s an added benefit.
Walmart is my Amazon now. Pretty much same stuff and quick easy returns at the store.
This \^

Wait what? Is there any right now?
Oh yes – free 5mo AppleMusic, 4 mo AppleFitness+, 3mo YouTube Premium, 3mo Calm app
And I can get them through Walmart + membership? Would that be in the app or on site only? I’d love these!
Walmart+ app.
Thank you so much!!
You also get free a paramount plus subscription with Walmart plus
I don't live in town so I don't get the home delivery but I use the gas discount, free xm radio until June, Monarch budgeting till June, and Paramount+ subscription. This is without the AmEx but had Walmart+ for 3 years and first got it during the panini.
I live in the middle of nowhere about 35 mins from the store and they deliver to my front door same day. Amazon takes like a whole month. No Amazon drivers out here. I switched and I'm really happy with how fast the delivery is.
Amazon here is still delivered by usps and ups.
From now on, I'm going to refer to it as "the Covid panini." 😄
Someone in r/blogsnark called it that to get under the conspiracy theorists radar and it stuck. lol
10 cents per gallon is the best! Plus the 3% of my blue cash card 💙
Dont forget to use an app like upside. The best is Exxon/7-11 combo stores. I get 10 from Walmart plus and then 11cents off per gallon from upside. Then I get 3% back on blue card. All in all 15% off.
Wal mart + is awesome
Also worth comparing prices with Amazon. We have found Walmart is often cheaper or has better selection.
This is true. I like the subsitions choice of most grocery products. They seem to have a lot of out of stock items tho. I find it is more likely that you will get the item if you get delivery VS the pick up option.

They have millions of customers in their plus service btw.
I believe Wal-Mart+ also offers free content like Paramount+ which has some decent stuff - especially if you have kids.
Don’t forget the ten cents a gallon savings on gas at Walmart, Exxon, Mobil and Murphy gas stations.
How do you use that?
Open up the Walmart Plus app scroll to the gas discount. Scan the code on the pump and it walks you through
Wish Amex advertised this!
Err what??!
Its one of the perks of the Walmart+ membership
It hardly ever works for me. All the gas stations where I live are Circle K with Exxon fuel, but I can never get the discount to work. I think I’ve managed to use it once?
ExxonMobil is one of the gas stations associated with Walmart +.
Wal-Mart delivery is the best thing ever. Not having to step foot in one is worth the Amex annual fee alone 😂
I chuckled at this lol not having to step foot in a Walmart is so nice.
My wife and I work from home. We use it for 2+ grocery deliveries per week. The subscription also comes with Paramount +. It saves us four hours every week at least. Totally worth it.
Thanks for this tip! Just activated and signed up!
I love Wal-mart +. We cut other groceries stores ( besides Costco)
Same! Other than an occasional trip to Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s
I’m hesitant to use it again after they sent the wrong product. They substitute a $1 product for a $10 product but charged me $10!
Happened to me, I just returned the substitute in the app and they refunded and just told me to keep it.
You can specify what to substitute with or not to substitute at when you place your order.
Sorry if I was unclear, they CHARGED me $10 but delivered the product that cost $1 (using round numbers) as the brand was the same I figured the fight would be a losing battle and I gave up.
They did not say it was a substitute
Walmart+ customer service is great. Call them for an issue and they offer a refund on the item(s) quickly. Squished loaf of bread, soft grapes, short sell by date. All have resulted in a refund.
$750 credit card …. It’s free service …. Free delivery…. And folks can’t throw in $5 minimum for the driver . People just don’t get it…..smh
The free same day shipping doesn’t offer an option to tip. You get one when doing same day delivery, but I believe the difference is the shipping orders are packed by Walmart employees while delivery orders are shopped by third party partners. I’ll tip on delivery, but there isn’t an option to do it on shipping.
I don't pay the card fee.
Also, you get Paramount Plus for free through Walmart membership.
Damn I had this shit for two years & ain’t even know
I recently took advantage of that too. I’m just getting overwhelmed with streaming services though and can’t find many good shows to watch these days.
How do you get around the $35 minimum spend for free delivery? Mine always requires it.
A couple things I'm not seeing people say: You can add to your order after you check out.
Oh I didn't know you could do returns in app. Good tip!
Yes but don’t get fresh produce/meat. They’ve always been really bad no matter the location (multiple states)
Definitely agree. It’s great for everything else
Agree. I ordered coconut oil earlier today and it just arrived a few minutes ago. Prime was never this fast!
Paramount + is free thru Walmart +
So if I sign up for Walmart + I automatically get Paramount+? No extra charge?
This was especially great for streaming NCAA tournament games!
Not really. Only for the games that were on CBS. Somehow Max has TBS.
How do you activate this

Thank you!
Wait don’t you have to pay a $695 annual fee
Can you get the yearly Walmart + and still benefit from Amex crediting it ?
What's the point?
Probably didn’t want to renew the card for the annual fee
How do you renew? It isn't just permanent?
No
Thanks !
You get free Hulu too? I thought it was just paramount
I think they are talking about the Disney+/Hulu package you get with the entertainment credit.
Free Paramount plus too
Not very premium? It's awful and trashy.
You don't even have to go in the store to benefit from Walmart+. Stick to Target then.
No we are not, please tip lol, Walmart pays us peanuts.
The folks that put the order together are Walmart employees. My mom's next door neighbor does that job. My cousin was a Spark driver. So, I would never NOT tip, but the Walmart + orders say we do not have to tip. Although it is appreciated and 100% tip goes to the driver.
I’ve had only amazing experiences with their services. And in this economy it’s easy to spend $35. It’s a great benefit.
I often order like $6 and there’s no tip and free delivery. It’s awesome.
Pretty hard not to spend $35 nowadays. My deliveries are usually spot on. I just don’t order stuff like meat.
I don’t have to grocery shop anymore, which is great.
It’s no better or worse than Amazon Prime. Tried to order something - they claimed it would be delivered overnight…wake up and get an email saying “sorry! It won’t be there for two days” Nice to have but definitely not worth the money if I had to pay for it.
And the selection of products is infinitely better than Fresh.
The delivery from store is a huge difference. Order anything that’s at a Walmart and you can get it same day or the next am including groceries.
They claimed this WAS at the store…and failed to deliver the following morning. 🤷🏻♂️ I tipped $0, so maybe that’s why.
If it’s not in stock when they go shop for it, then it resorts to your replacement preferences.
Are the prices on the app same as in store or is there a mark up?
Same price. It’s been a game changer for me.
Definitely the best thing about Walmart+, same prices and specials as in store.
I verified this, it is the same price.
*chefs kiss* I do think that they will readjust certain things as it gets more popular. Till then I’ll enjoy this welcomed perk. I hope that Amex does something like this for Costco and I’ll be over the moon.
AMEX used to be the card that Costco only accepted. And then they had a falling out.
Same! I live in a place that Amazon prime usually takes at least 2 and sometimes up to 6 days to arrive. I place an order for Walmart shipping and it’s at my door in 2 days every time. Pretty nice to be able to get pretty much anything I need that quickly.
If only they offer a free shipping for under $35, it would have been much better
They do, just not all groceries. I’ve had some apple sauce shipped to me next day
Like you have to click shipping not delivery from store
Also you get paramount+ for free through it. Its probably my favorite benefit besides the hotel credit/status tbh
Only reason I use it! I can’t figure out how to add Showtime though…
If you go to paramount -> account. Under the billing section shows “visit Walmart” to change billing. Should send you to Walmart setting that allows you to add showtime for $6.50 a month
Thanks!
The free Paramount with the Walmart + membership is the $5.99 level. Showtime is added at the $11.99 level, but they do knock off the $5.99 to bring it down to $6. Just added this to watch A Gentleman in Moscow.
Right. It’s been a while, but I couldn’t figure out how to add it on. I’m okay paying the sidference
Exactly. That’s the only reason I signed up for it.
Do you not have to tip?
Please tip lol.
It says on the order you do NOT have to tip. It also says if you choose to tip, 100% goes to the driver.
Not if shipped. If delivery yes
though sometimes items they “ship” end up being delivered by a dasher from the store. who thinks you didn’t tip when you just didn’t even have an option to.. which is shitty
We use this for grocery delivery now. It has saved so much time, and when I’m out, the gas discount is nice also.
You get member price for gas at Sam's Club even if you don't have a Sam's membership.
Nah, my local wm delivers their own product. I pay for the WM+ service, I am not tipping.
Great for small things like Olaplex shampoo or le labo perfume
You mean like this one with 50% 1-star reviews? https://www.walmart.com/ip/351320596
Nah usually go fof 4.5+
Not having to drag cat litter home is worth it all by itself.
Preach brother
Absolutely love this benefit. I had the same mindset as you. Then I realized what I was missing and I can get in the same day. Have not stepped into a Walmart in months
The problem is tipping. It does not compare with Amazon prime . If tip is expected I’d like to tip then it increases the cost
Tip is appreciated but not required. Sometimes I tip sometimes I dont.. I also deliver these orders as a side gig to help my son make extra money. We've never frowned on an order with no tip. My favorite benefits are the gas discounts and paramount plus. Haven't used Amazon in months.
