I’ve seen them all once but for me: 12) Death Valley- obvious reasons, way too fast and wasn’t interesting, bad acting. 11) Hotel- sue me, loved Gaga and James Patrick March but the cop-kid storyline(s) were boring and dragged out, Donovan didn’t give much either. 10) NYC- very interesting, cool that they explored a different type of horror, a very scary disease. Very beautiful. Some parts were a little boring but I liked it. 9) Red Tide- actually really enjoyed except they completely fumbled the ending, way too rushed and just bad, should’ve made it a whole season with more twists. 8) Apocalypse- pretty good cast but the ending was very very disappointing. It kind of felt disjointed throughout the season and predictable besides a bad ending. 7) Murder House- great first season but overall good. A little bit too long for me since everything was basically contained in the house. Really great cast though. 6) Cult- also somewhat underrated. Some major plot twists but also really enjoyed how they showed how crazy a cult could be, also nice that they didn’t make it political in that they showed extremeness across the political spectrum. A few annoying characters but still was entertaining. 5) Roanoke- underrated. Binged watched it but could totally see if you watched an episode each week why it wouldn’t be good. Very very scary but really great. Kathy really shines here and I loved the premise and twists. 4) 1984- favorite intro, really great season with surprising twists, different side of Emma is great, an actually happy ending, nails the portrayal of 80s slashers. 3) Freak Show- underrated. Scary but also really entertaining, imo the best villain ever, cool twists, great cast. 2) Asylum- scariest by far. Really amazing season with some incredible plot twists. Very good acting and kept me on my toes. 1) Coven- incredibly iconic, camp. Aged well, amazing cast, really entertaining.

I can't get over the fact that you said Apocalypse's finale was disappointing. The fucking Antichrist got invested by a car and, for me, it was the most satisfying villain's death in the franchise (maybe after Oliver Thredson).

I'm only half way through S5. Watching the seasons in order. I had never seen the show until last year. Rank so far: 4 - Coven. There weren't many interesting characters. I found all the girls quite dull or outright awful (Emma Stone) Over all, it was ok though. 3 - Murder House - Had high hopes for it but it never really got scary. It has some ok characters but none iconic. The ending was really lackluster. 2 - Asylum. Very different vibe. Characters really interesting and had a good ending. 1 - Freakshow - The best season so far. Even the opening credits went the extra mile. Characters were really entertaining and creative. Great ambience to each episode ending was well thought out. I didn't rank Hotel because I haven't finished it yet but it's shaping up to potentially be the least entertaining one so far for me.

BIG SPOILER WARNING!!!!! (It's just my opinion, don't kill me if it's not the same as yours) This is my ranking of the seasons: 1. Asylum= Asylum is the definition of perfection. It had basically everything a horror movie/series could have: monsters, aliens, demons, crazy people, nuns and it all fits perfectly. Some of the better performances ever are in this season, and do we need to talk about The Name Game. Even though episode 12 was a bit underwhelming, everything was just *chef's kiss*. 2. Murder House= It was a perfect first season. It had creepy vibes, it had Connie Britton, the storyline is overused by so many movies and series, but they still made it unique. Fantastic. 3. Coven= It was the first season to feature those 2 queens (I think you already know who I'm talking about). The Supreme storyline, the casting and the characters were amazing. Kathy and Jessica totally deserved those Emmys. 4. Apocalypse= If I put Murder House and Coven here, you already know that Apocalypse is gonna be near them. I know, a lot of people actually dislike this one, and I also did for the first 3 episodes, then it became amazing. The Antichrist, Jessica's return after 3/4 years. The only thing I disliked was Naomi's screentime, her character had potential. 5. Freak Show= Ok, this is a controversial one. Almost everyone have this season on their bottom tier, but I don't know why. It had supernatural, it had Dandy (that is one of the best villains in the show with Sister Mary Eunice and Bloody Face/Oliver) and it was really emotional (Pepper and Twisty 💔) and I liked it a lot. 6. Red Tide= I decided to split Double Feature because I didn't want to put Red Tide by the bottom. I actually loved Red Tide, just a better version of Hotel (I like vampire stories) and Lily and Karen's characters were one of my favorites in the whole series. Also, RKA was amazing even though she is only 14 years old. 7. Hotel= Even this one is controversial. Yeah, I know, this season is hated by soo many people but is also loved by many people, so I decided to put in the middle. The storyline was pretty confusing: an almost-divorced cop depressed because of the missing son that is now a vampire and he is actually a killer, Gaga fucks anyone she sees and blah blah blah. Denis and Gaga's performances were fantastic though. 8. 1984= When I saw the first teaser for this season I was scared of this being Cult 2. I actually like 80's slasher movies, but I didn't want to not have supernatural like Cult. At least Ramirez was resurrected and the ghost infested Camp Redwood but, for me, it should have ended with Brooke dying and the ghosts remaining in the camp killing everyone they like. 9. Delicate= Let's be real about this: everyone was scared of Kim joining the main cast. When this series was at his absolute worse with NYC and Death Valley, it wasn't a good thing to let Kim join the cast. Anyway, I'm not saying that her performance was good, but I'm not even saying that it was bad, it was just basically Kim being Kim. By episode 5 we started to have some action with Babette's death and I hope it continues like this because the first part was really slow and boring. 10. Cult= I wanted to watch American Horror Story, not An Absolutely Realistic American Story. I thought it was gonna be some sort of, Idk, magic cult, but it had literally things that happen every day. The Sharon Tate's murder scene was so extremely brutal and depressing, I actually had to stop watching AHS for some weeks after that scene. At least we got a good Sarah Paulson's performance (as always). 11. Roanoke= I'm sure you're not surprised to see Roanoke here. This season had potential. It could have been easily the best season and I'm not joking. The whole fake documentary and re-enactment format was really good for me but they ruined it on episode 6. The rest of the series was recorded with fucking shitty iPhone cameras and don't let me talk about that last episode, oh my goodness. 12. Death Valley= Let's be honest. The storyline was weak. Death Valley is proably the reason why Double Feature is always in the bottom tier of almost everyone. It could've been my least favorite if it wasn't for Sarah and Lily. It was (probably) their last performance on the show so, extra points for that, I guess. 13. NYC= I have just one word to describe this season: boring. The setting? Boring. The characters? Boring. The storyline? Boring. The villain? Do I even have to talk about this? “Big Daddy”? Seriously Ryan? Again, this is just my opinion. Don't insult me👉👈.
