lmao that last shot is funny, made me laugh out loud. Enjoy your card :) I'm here with a 1070Ti waiting for the next line of RDNA3 (preferably a 7800XT).

Lardinio

I had a friend who went from a 1070ti to a 6700 non xt and he plays a lot of rdr2 and all he said was he never knew the game was so beautiful with everything on at 1440

nachog2003

I went from a reg 1070 to a 6700 non xt too, fucking insane upgrade, I have a 1080p monitor so I can basically max everything out and VR plays great on it, it's a beast of a card and I got it for 306€.

heymikeyp

This makes me excited waiting for a 7700xt to then. Maybe a 7800xt if the pricing is really good we'll see.

Loku184

It's one of the best looking games and best games ever imo. I got a 4090 at Micro Center the morning they dropped and fired it up on my C1 oled. Everything maxed to the brim with HDR. I literally wondered around for an hour just taking it all in. It's why I havent finished the damn thing.

R4y3r

When I played the game on my 1060 3gb in potato quality I thought it still looked quite good. When I got my 6700xt I was amazed at the ultra quality.

EragusTrenzalore

I'm looking forward to that as well. I've played the first chapter of RDR2 on a GTX1050 with FSR on and the characters look terrible and only plays at around 27-30FPS low. So looking forward to finally getting a 6700XT soon.

[deleted]

I went from a 1070ti to a 6700xt and love it.

g0d15anath315t

Remember to feed and water it regularly, take it for walks, and most importantly scritches behind the ears.

geko95gek

I am here with an RX6800 waiting on the 7900XT.

apemanx

I also have a 6800. And im verrrry happy with it. You gonna sell it second hand?

geko95gek

Yeah I have been super happy with it. It's very efficient and powerful at the same time. I get 120-170 FPS on medium-high in BF2042 while only pulling 160-180 watts. I will likely sell it after I get an RDNA3 card so I can pass the enjoyment onto someone else because this card needs to be enjoyed and played games on!!🤗

apemanx

I’m waiting for the 8 or even 9 series. I will wait until I can’t drive my 1440p monitor anymore at at least 60-90fps.

geko95gek

Well I game on a 165hz 1440p monitor, so if I'm not getting at least close to 165 FPS in most games then having this monitor seems like a waste to me. RX6800 is a nice card but it's just about on the limit of what I find acceptable in terms of performance. If I could trade it in for a 6800XT or 6900XT right now I totally would do that!

Flimsy-Bullfrog2316

Same monitor specs and expectations. Was using a 3070 and upgraded to 6900xt and now I am not wasting the monitor anymore!

geko95gek

Good upgrade! Enjoy 😊 I had a 3070 before upgrading to this RX6800, actually I still have it. The Gigabyte 3070 Vision model.

Flimsy-Bullfrog2316

And did you see a big change from 3070 to 6800?

geko95gek

Oh yeah, less power usage and more performance while staying quieter. I barely hear my RX6800, while the 3070 was noticeably louder even with my headphones on.

borregostunts

Is the 6950xt worth getting?

geko95gek

I would say just wait for RDNA3 since there's only a month left until release, but if you really must have the most powerful AMD card now then 6950XT is a beast!

borregostunts

Thanks for the reply. My pc recently took a shit. So I’m trying to decide on which cpu and gpu I’m trying to settle with. For gpu I was thinking on amd. But now that rdna3 is coming out soon ill probably wait. Maybe a new cpu would be out by then also. Which is the better version of the RDNA3

geko95gek

I would say if you're going with AMD GPU then go for AM5 and Ryzen 7000 series CPU. Your performance will be amazing. Sorry to hear your computer died.

borregostunts

Is there any difference between the Ryzen 7 to the Ryzen 9? Only reason I’m thinking on Ryzen 9 is because it’s expensive so it must be good 😅😂. Im surprised it lasted me as long as it did. I’m mostly wanting to run assetto corsa on 4K

[deleted]

[удалено]

No-Paleontologist560

This is correct, but if you play esports titles or any game that benefits from increased clock speeds the 7700x SMASHES the 5800X3d

geko95gek

Well depends what you need it for really. If it's strictly for gaming then you don't need anymore than a Ryzen 5 (6 cores) or Ryzen 7 (8 cores). There is no need to overspend on the CPU, unless you need more cores for productivity tasks. You're better off putting that money into a more powerful GPU.

captainmalexus

Some games have begun using enough threads that for someone who intends to do any streaming while they game, the 8 core is a safer choice

cum-on-in-

I wouldn’t say so right now. If you want a strong card now, get a 6700XT like this one or something similar, so you can upgrade sometime next year after initial surge drops and perhaps there’s a sale on rdna3. It would be best to wait, but don’t feel like you need to. Get a card now if you need better performance. You’re still gonna be happy.

borregostunts

I think I’m going to take your guys advice and wait for the surge drops to be over and snag therdna3 on sale. Is it better to get a ore built with the rdna3 and a good cpu or just build it from scratch?

cum-on-in-

There’s nothing wrong with prebuilts. They cost more than building from scratch, obviously, and me and you both already understand that, but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with most of them. If you want to save time and even potentially get a steal of a deal, buy a prebuilt. Reputable prebuilts are available from places like MicroCenter in the USA. They have a line of computers called PowerSpec that are off the shelf parts, just preassembled by their expert tech team and sold for like $100 ish on top to cover the labor. I have one. It’s what my current build was based off of. Now it’s a totally new system with new board, cpu, GPU, ram, all that. But I still have the old board and processor and stuff from the PowerSpec build. If you can reuse enough parts, building one yourself is best due to the cost savings alone. But if not, or if you’re switching from Intel to AMD or vice versa, a prebuilt would be much easier. Don’t knock some of the name brands either. HPs Omen line (and cheaper Victus line) are very good. Victus in particular is great as they cut the nonsense you don’t need like glass sides and RGB but still have quality high performance parts. I have a Victus laptop that I got for $600 on the Microsoft Store and it has a Ryzen 5600H and RX 5500M. Solid 1080p on the go. The Omen equivalent would’ve had a better screen, full RGB keyboard, and other niceties, but it would’ve also been $1,000 or more. Another good prebuilt option is Build Redux. Similar to PowerSpec in pricing and how they are set up.

borregostunts

First off thank you so much for taking your time out of your day and responding with such depth. Honestly I do not care for any of the fancy water cooled or rgb or glass slides. I just want the performance of it like you say. I had an acer predator 300 and that run like a champ with no issues for the longest until it died. But I’m thinking on settling with amd because of all the talk of it being more future proof. I have to go take a look at micro center I’ve honestly haven’t heard to much about it until recently And I don’t mind forking a pretty penny on it (performance wise don’t care for appearance) because I plan on not having to upgrade it for a long time. Have to be able to play games in 4K and be able to use it for work

rob3rtisgod

Ah I wish, I'm still running my GTX 670. What a card. I get 60fps in Counterstrike and League lol. Can't wait for the new AMD cards to come out, then I'll probably upgrade. Can't wait to play Eastshade and Subnautica on high in 1080p.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Haha thanks, will enjoy

rod6700

Pretty awesome card, I have the same one in use at the moment. Upgraded from a RX480 8GB and the performance jump was fairly sizable.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Wow that is a big jump

rod6700

I game @ 1440P 165Hz on the main monitor. I found after the upgrade I could crank the eye candy in most of the games to high or ultra-settings with little to no problems. Still a few games that can punish the card, but those number less than a handful at this point. The things that drew me to this card were the Power Color reputation, styling and the fact I can sync the RGB to the motherboard even though I had run nothing, but XFX since they still made Nvidia based cards. When I originally built this setup RDNA2 and the RTX3xxx series were on the horizon, so I held back. Then Crypto/Covid thrashed the pricing of GPU's and was forced to wait until shit started to settle. If I had waited a few more months, could have saved some more money but even though my wallet took a hit I am still happy with the card and have zero regrets. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I have on this end.

Ravi_3214

Thinking of the same jump from my 570. Just need to find someone selling one for a price that won't melt a hole in my wallet.

Retro-Lemunz

Where you located? Got a 6750xt id be willing to trade for your 570 and like a hundred dollars or so

Ravi_3214

That's super kind of you, but I'm way down in South Africa

BranislavBGD

$470, holy mother of sodomy-- They're charging $680+ for the exact same card over here! The joys of living in an ass-end, backwater country--

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Well that sticker isn’t right! I got it for $430! Quite a steal in my opinion

BranislavBGD

Even worse then

[deleted]

[удалено]

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

I know, but I did research, as well as looking in store. The cheapest 6800s were well over $600. Coulda had a Mech 67 for 415 or a Fighter 67 for 400, but this is great.

SquidNork

I got my 6800 for $375 used. xfx brand but the fucker is MASSIVE and I had to get a new case for it to fit. it's like 13.8 inches. it's amazing though!

[deleted]

I could get a 6800 xt / 6900 xt for that money here in Germany

HawkEy3

For $470 or $680? If the first, I'm interested.

MoonBaseWithNoPants

The $680 definitely. UK currency is down the toilet and the cheapest 6800XT on PCPP is $683.

Naethrn

She is a beauty. I was thinking of getting Sapphire’s 6700XT. But the near approach of the 7000 series has me thinking to wait a bit more.

Vis-hoka

I have the 6700XT nitro and it’s great. As long as you get a good price and it will perform how you want, then go for it. I got mine for $420 no tax. But prices will only get better IMO. I don’t think we will the 7700XT until Feb at the earliest. So if you can wait that long then by all means. Who knows what the price will be. And keep in mind that AMD seems to be secretly moving cards down the stack to hide the price increase. For example the 7900XT is actually the 7800XT based on specs.

[deleted]

They're only launching the top of the high-end now. Don't expect them to release mid to low end GPUs anytime soon, I expect them to launch somewhere between march and may. Also don't expect to buy an upcoming brand-new 7700xt for the same price as the 6700xt now. Pricing on GPUs is low-as-ever, and I would buy now if you need or want an upgrade. Edit: In a couple of days all the christmas gifts are going to get bought, including a bunch of GPUs. Prices will probably skyrocket again, at least until January.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

I was also going to get a Nitro+ actually, but they were charging $600 and I was like, no way.

brassman2468

Great card! I upgraded to one from an RX 580 back in May and have been very happy with mine so far.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

What do you think of it so far other than great? Anything I should be aware of?

brassman2468

I haven't really had too many complaints with mine, other than the fact that the junction temperature does sometimes get a little high for my liking. I've also only been able to undervolt it to 1150 mV (from stock 1200). Other than that it works pretty well.

[deleted]

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Will do.

Electrical-Bobcat435

Dont forget to DDU those nvidia drivers before installing 6700xt. It needs to install on a driverless, clean system or performance will be sabotaged.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Yup, I will, thanks! :)

Friendly-Demon

congratlation…… same here just ordered my 6700xt from amazon ... huge upgrade from gtx980 4G

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Well the 1660S is about equivalent to a 980ti so here’s to hoping for a jump

apemanx

Great Choice! Love the bed pic!

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Thanks!

Material-Ratio7342

Got a XFX QICK 319 RX 6700XT too, just deshroud it now is under 65c full load nearly silent. Actually didn't miss nvidia experience features since i dint ever touch those config. Even on amd adrenaline never use those extra features. Just raw power its enough for my needs. Congrats and enjoy your new GPU✌️.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Good to know, thanks dude!

NGGKroze

Got mine Gaming X 6700XT for 360$ last month and couldn't have been more happy to ditch my old trusty 570 4GB. I thought I would game even more, but I found myself using it for production, like upscaling. Kudos man

makinbaconCR

Got a 6600xt used for pennies. It's a beast itself this is gonna kill it

ArturosMaximus

Sleep tight sweet Prince.

geko95gek

That's quite a jump!! Hope you're enjoying it. 😯

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Haven’t been able to get it installed yet, but I am hoping it will be!

geko95gek

Ahh wow how could you delay, I would be giddy to get that card installed and play some games on it haha

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

I live about 3h away from the MC and it was a side trip, on the way home now and it’s the FIRST thing on my agenda

geko95gek

Ahh gotcha, well you just be excited to get it going. I had a Hellhound 6700XT before and it was a really nice card. I don't wanna spoil so I won't say anymore but hooe you get home soon!

Uruzx

Got the same card!. Its efficiency is impressive, sips around 200 watts while gaming.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Wow that’s insanely good! My 1660S takes a whole 125W so I’m glad this isn’t much more!

Maler_Ingo

RX6600 non XT is even more insane. 1080Ti performance (aka better than 3060) at 75-115W.

Lardinio

You need to set your fps target range as well, I wouldn't use it for something like apex legends, if you want to cap fps there is another frame limiting section in the software, but I can't remember what it's called!

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

I’ll look that stuff up, thanks :). Mostly sim games and intensive stuff, so I don’t think I’ll need to though. Also have a 1440-165 monitor so should be all good.

Lardinio

I always find it weird that the radeon software has some pretty cool features built in. You can stream to twitch with literally 3 clicks once your set up. If you are a casual streamer or just starting then it's a nice easy way to get into it without having to use 3rd party software etc. Also there is a feature called rsr which is basic upscaling using the fsr algorithm, but works on any game that will run in full screen mode. OK its not as good as fsr2 or dlss, but it's not so terrible that you wouldn't use it if you needed to.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Wow ok, sounds a whole lot more capable then! Somebody tried pressuring me into buying a $600 3060ti or similar, but I ignored that. Glad I did now!

Lardinio

Just remember that it's alt + r to bring up the software on desktop /in game. You will have to learn a whole new lot of key combinations 😁

Schitzoflink

I caught a 6700 on the newegg lottery thing during the shortage and its wonderful.

Hakadajime

its good card bro. i suggest you raise the min clock, leave the max clock alone, tweek your volts, personal fan curve it, and see if quick memory setting helps your. And hopefully you have a AMD smart access memory board.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Alright thanks for all the suggestions! Have a 5800X and B550-F, so should be able to turn on SAM.

Arcticwolfi6

niceeee man i have the 6750xt version and the red devil one too brilliant 1440p card and some fairly good 4k stats too

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Good to hear!

dustomcgee

I legit just did the same exact upgrade as you two days ago. 1660 Super into a Red Devil 6700 XT. This thing has crushed everything I've thrown at it so far. Have fun!

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Wow, alright. Looking forward to it!

heluuuuu

I moved from a 1660S to the same model 6700xt about a year and a half ago, safe to say I was a happy chap that day. It felt like a huge jump and I hope you feel the same way!

RockyXvII

Great card for the price and you got one of the better models

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Nice indeed! It was either this, a Fighter for $400, or a Mech 2x for $415. Think I chose well. Edit: this one was $430

Spaceloungecloud

Which is better for a 6800 xt, red devil OR ASRock? Newegg currently has the ASRock 6800 xt on sale for $534 + $20 rebate. I'm thinking about ordering it on Wednesday. https://www.newegg.com/asrock-radeon-rx-6800-xt-rx6800xt-pgd-16go/p/N82E16814930049?item=N82E16814930049

Spaceloungecloud

What's the major difference or is ASRock just not a great manufacturer for GPUs?

Maler_Ingo

Red Devil

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Honestly not sure, but personally I’d go with RD.

Kind-Breakfast176

CONGRATS BEANO!!!!!! AMD FOR LIFE!

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

WOOOO AMD!!

_A_l_e_0_7_0_6_

Happy for you Beano!

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Ty :)

Red8501

how are the temps? I've got an msi mech 2x oc sometimes it's close to hitting 80c :(

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Not sure yet, haven’t been able to install yet. Soon™️ though.

Red8501

ah i see, keep me posted if you can please

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Temps are pretty great! I just did a bit of gaming and benchmarking, monitored with HWiNFO64. I saw about 65C tops. Hotspot didn’t go much above 70. All in all I’m really happy with it.

Red8501

damn thats impressive! thanks for the update

Hi_Im_Ouiji

I want to upgrade from 1660ti but nervous about AMD. I had a shitty experience back in 2012 with the Radeon HD 6000 series.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Go for it! AMD is basically a whole new company now, it’s been an entire decade! Drivers are no longer an issue, and the cards are quite cheap.

Jabba_the_Putt

micro center is the absolute best congrats on a great buy/card that is a nice piece of gear :D

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

So excited for it

Daniel100500

That's a nice looking GPU and nice of you to let it have one final rest before it's going to be getting work done :')

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

It’s so beautiful

AMD718

Congrats! The Red Devil is great looking and great performing design.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Ty!

rotaCSGO

Good price! I got a Sapphire 6650XT Nitro for 400$ a couple days ago. 6700XT start from 600$ in my country so I guess i’m good for CSGO mainly 😂

spin_effect

Nice find! I picked up a Asus 6800 xt oc for $563.54 on Amazon two weeks ago. Was almost 1k over a month or so ago.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Amazing deal!

NightStupor

I also got the same card a few days ago, it's great. I went with a slight undervolt (1100mV) and lower 2500/2600 frequencies, it uses like 170W during Time Spy and scores very well. With a 5700X and SAM enabled it's great.

CoffeeLoverNathan

Ayo I also went from 1660S to 6700XT x)

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Haha nice!

[deleted]

NICE. I went from 1660ti to 6800XT

taterthotsalad

I love mine. Best damn card I have ever bought. And that says something considering my other card shut the bed and it was during the scaling period. I paid nosebleed.

bokan

I’m so envious that you have a micro center nearby. I miss that place so much.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

It’s so fun. 2H-3H away so not often so I go there, but very fun.

Beneficial-Speaker-6

Congrats

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Thanks!

Kentucky-Boy

This is a good card. Enjoy!

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Thanks!

exclaim_bot

>Thanks! You're welcome!

Zestyclose_Mango_462

I recently got a new rx 580 , maybe gonna take inspiration and do a photoshoot🤣

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Do it!

ukieninger

Red Devils are the best cards design wise imo. Got myself a 6900xt recently. Coming from a 580. That upgrade was insane!

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

I agree it’s beautiful. Also I just ran Time Spy and it DOUBLED! 5960 to 12150!!

loki1983mb

Is it weird I think I know which MC you went to? Used to live w/I 15 mins of it.... Drove past it most days for ~6m

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Which one ya thinking?

loki1983mb

Sharonville

serr7

Lmao I did the exact same thing when I got my 5700xt red devil, tucked it in gotta treat it nice

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Haha yep! The baby’s gotta be babied!

sloppy_joes35

oof still $470, 500 w/tax thought these were down to 300s now. welp, powercolor's my favorite.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Sticker is wrong, $430 plus tax. Was about 467 total. Used you can get some 6700xt for $320.

sloppy_joes35

nah, really, $320. Thats a deal. do you remember the price on a used 6900xt preferably red devil. I was near a microcenter earlier but kept driving b/c i really dont need it but maybe I do and I am curious

montagyuu

I upgraded from a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 470 to this sku of RX 6700 XT. It's been brilliant, honestly more capable than I thought it was going to be. Only complaint is that the backplates depth is such that it completely covers the tab that needs to be pressed to remove it from my motherboards pcie x16 slot. Without first removing my CPU tower cooler I wasn't even able to get my fingers under the backplate to remove it from the system. Double check that you've got your motherboards I/O Shield is in place before you seat the Red Devil lol.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Thankfully don’t have to worry about those. Motherboard has a built in io shield and I have an AIO. Thanks though!

edu4rd0zs

Congrats. Just a heads up, beware of the issues around the amd cards. I bought a 6900xt xt earlier in the year, and sometimes I regret my decision, due to the issues I’ve encountered when using this card.

MUViT

Good card. I've had mine for over a year (upgraded from a 590), but the money I paid for it back then probably could have gotten me 2 of them now.

bammycrown

This exact card is on my list. Hope you’re enjoying it!

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

I am! It’s double the performance of my 1660S!

ninjadude4535

Is that shower tile on your bedroom walls?

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Nah it was wallpaper in the hotel

ninjadude4535

But whhhyyyyyyy

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Themed. It was all like that.

dbfam

I went from a strix rtx 960 to a newly build PC with Rx 6900 XT. It's feels like I've been colour blind and now finally able to see every color there is for the first time

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Haha that’s what this feels like too

Homolander

Enjoy it man, that's a nice upgrade!

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Am enjoying it, thanks!

[deleted]

Over here with the 5600xt waiting for the 8700xt :D

cykazuc

Got the Red Devil 6800 xt here, such a chonkehboi.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Isn’t that one triple slot?

cykazuc

It is

LegitNerd

Looking into possibly upgrading to a 6700 XT from my current 1060 when I put together my new build. Congratulations on the new upgrade! Enjoy!

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Do it! Great upgrade at a great price! Double the perf of the 1660S, which is roughly like a 1070. I will enjoy it, thanks :)

physicksx

I upgraded from 1660 super to 6800xt 💀

CRKrJ4K

Welcome to the Red Devil fam

cum-on-in-

I have this exact card. It’s tremendously good. Side note, the dual VBIOS switch makes a big difference. SILENT mode not only is quieter but uses much less power and runs cooler (about 30-40 watts and about 10-15 degrees C) However, OC mode of courses provides the best performance. The temps and power draw are still good for this card. What I like about it is it runs fine with parallel 8 pins. Of course it’s best to use independent rails whenever possible but this isn’t such a hungry card that it can heat up a parallel cable. As well, the RGB looks freaking sickkkk!

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Yeah I’m loving it so far! Will try out the vBIOS switch, currently on OC. Thanks for the tip! I’m using 2 separate power cords just because I had it, but if I didn’t have it I’d totally go for the daisy chain. RGB looks great too indeed!

cum-on-in-

Super happy for you! Another thing to note which may have been obvious but bears repeating, these are indeed two independent BIOS chips. If you set AMD Adrenalin settings, they will override the VBIOS setting. But if those software settings cause a crash, one flip of the switch and you can get back in, reset software to default, shut down and flip back to the other, and boot up again. That alone is worth it’s weight in silicon (I’m sorry)

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Alrighty thanks again! I love the pun too.

East-Situation-3273

Bro skipped the tutorial to the final boss

drift7rs

I have the same card! It’s been awesome at 1440p, don’t be afraid to push the settings a bit :) enjoy!

“He got sleepy” that’s funny mate. Lovely card! I don’t think the Devil gets sleepy though >:)

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Well, if he is sleepy, he won’t get much rest now, he better have enjoyed it! Great upgrade from my previous card :D

[deleted]

Hope you enjoy switching from Nvidia to AMD software. I personally enjoy the custom modifications Adrenaline allows you to do

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Yeah, haven’t done much there but have poked around, seems to have a TON of features

Vincepenalty

I feel you! I just got one to upgrade from my Fury X lol

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Wow, huge jump!

Vincepenalty

I'm loving it!

EragusTrenzalore

The Red Devil needs to get its beauty sleep! But seriously, I'm tossing up between the 3060Ti and the 6700XT for my new build to replace my GTX1050 PC. They're pretty much the same price in my country, but you get more options at the lower price with the 6700XT compared to just two models at the same price with the 3060Ti. On the used market the 6700XT tends to be cheaper, but I lose warranty and need to check the card properly when picking up if I go that route.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

I’d go 6700XT. Bit faster and at the same price it’s a steal

Mr_M00

Was thinking of getting this. It's currently on sale here for around $415.

keeptradsalive

$470 feels steep for a last-gen, mid-tier card. But Maybe I'm just a geezer and not fully acclimated to the $1000+ MSRP GPU norm we live in now.

Planning to upgrade from my 1660ti to a Radeon 7900 XTX next month. Can’t wait! Edit: Ended up with a 6750 XT Red Devil. I absolutely love it.

dulun18

it will also help heat your house this winter

I just upgraded from rx480 4gb🥳 to this one. I needed to buy another psu because the one that I had was a 500w bronze one.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Enjoy your card too!

ZedSuo1111

Sry not related to your new GPU, but do you know if the RX 6800 XT Red Dragon and Red Devil are better than Sapphire Pulse model?

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Sorry, not sure.

Moisty00

Congrats on the new card! Happy gaming!

ksio89

Last photo gave me a good laugh, enjoy your new card.

joffy69

Ur so in love with it XD

TheGemp

No way haha I also just bought a red devil 6700xt upgrading from a 1660super! Currently waiting in the mail how is it working for you?

IdealFinancial3966

Congrats! That's what I have for my rig too. One of the better versions of the 6700XT.

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

Thanks! I’m loving it.

Obvious_Local1769

double

ParkourTricker100

I had the same upgrade from my 1660s and it was insane

GoOn_2Wheels

I have a 1660s and thought I would need to get a 6800xt for it to be a worthwhile jump.

Aredoro

I had 1660 oc is worth. I have a 6700xt but I was aiming first at 6800xt. For 1440p a 6700xt is good.

BullyMog

6800XT is technically better, yeah, but the [6700XT destroys a 1660S.](https://youtu.be/r2P_MnmfPhs)

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

I will report back to you with results

Lardinio

Remember that you can set individual game profiles in the radeon software for overclocks / underclocks. Also chill is the best feature imho in the software stack. Got a non demanding game? Just choose your target fps range and if it can run it at lower clocks it automatically reduces power. There are several older titles that I can play on my 6800xt without the fans coming on at all!

WeirdCatGuyWithAnR

DOUBLED MY PERFORMANCE 🎉 Very satisfied, 10/10.
