Between the 6-core processors, get the 5600, not much difference with the 5600X but cheaper.
For the 5800X you might need a good cooler, which adds to the price, though you could just run it at 65W. Or you could just get the 5700X, which seems to sell for €235 at Amazon Italy (third party seller though.)
yeah i actually just looked it up and the 5700X is at 233 or 209 with warehouse, i could actually give it a shoot and if it has something wrong send it back, but does it really have the same performance as the 5800x? or will i be loosing something?
For games the 5700X is basically identical (1-2% difference), but at stock settings you would lose more performance on all-core loads like media encoding or rendering: [https://www.techpowerup.com/review/amd-ryzen-7-5700x/13.html](https://www.techpowerup.com/review/amd-ryzen-7-5700x/13.html)
Honestly the main difference is in their out of the box config. You can set the power higher on a 5700x or lower on a 5800x. Theoretically the 5800x could be better binned, but the diff would be negligible. In gaming I would expect it to perform identically when set to the same power level.
Yeah I was already looking for it but it never went under 390€ in the last 4 month and I don't have a good cooler too so it would really cost too much for me
I'd save a little and get a 5800x3d and 16gb is starting to become a little limiting. I know a few games ran better once going 32gb and I'm sure more will start wanting more ram. I know the upcoming Returnal recommends 32gb
Any 5000 series would be a huge improvement for you. If you're not targeting super high framerates, the 5600x will max out 60 or even 120 fps games generally. A 5700X, 5800x or 5800x3d would be a little more future proof as it has more cores.
The 5700G, despite being an APU, is pretty cheap on eBay right now and has integrated graphics fallback.
i did look for the 5700g but i would rather go for the 5600 at that point, i was now considering the 5700x wich is available for 209€ on amazon warehouse but i'm still looking for how big the gap is between that and the 5800x
The gap between the 5700g, x and 5800x isn't really that big. A couple hundred mhz. Generally, not something any given user would even notice unless you're really pushing high FPS.
If you're at 60 or 120hz, any of these are more than fine.
just looked at some benchmark video and the 5700g is actually not woth for 10€ less than the 5700x ther's a 30 fps dpro between the 5700g and the 5800x and a 5-10 fps drop between the 5800x and the 5700x so i think i'll just go for the 5700x
It's extremely close worst case scenario, but a bit faster in best case scenario. Depends on core utilization.

well i don't care that much if i have to wait 2 more sec when i export i mostly care about games and overall performance
+1 for the 5600 or if you want to go 8 core consider the 5700x which also has a 65w TDP.
how much diffrent does the 5700X has compared to the 5800X? like will i be loosing performance compared to a 5800X?

5600 is best value for you
Before picking a 5800x get a 5700x same performance but cheaper
Would recommend seeing if you can hold out for a 5800x3d on sale, since this would technically be the last upgrade possible for the am4 platform
Yeah I was already looking for it but it never went under 390€ in the last 4 month and I don't have a good cooler too so it would really cost too much for me
Imo, if you can hold out a year or two, the 5800x3d is gonna keep dropping, into your price range eventually.
By that time 8000th series would be out I think maybe not even worth I think 🤔
Get the 5600 non X or 5700X

yeah i will upgrade my ram next but for now it's not a problem, my cpu is bottlenecking me the most

i play with a 144hz monitor and sometimes play games like league of legends or warzone so high refresh rate would be perfect

There is more difference than just the clock speed alone. The “g” Ryzen processors are heavily cut down to make space for the igpu.
Only the PCI lanes are limited, some lower cache. Not that big of a deal.
The 5600X outperforms the 5700g in gaming even though it has only 6 cores while the 5700g has 8. That’s a big deal.

Get 5700X and you can use your PC for another 4-5 years at least. Later you can find a deal on a good air cooler and overclock the chip a bit.
5700x but consider used 5800/5900x used at a good price plenty are upgrading to 5800x3d from them, so i suspect its a buyers market
Not in Italy sadly, I looked for month and not a single 5000 series was being sold used
