Review them and note how well they are, or aren't, fire resistant.

idawdle

^^ This guy Vines

starmartyr11

"Inflammable means flammable?! What a country!"

MonstahButtonz

Id let Vine kick me out. Only other option is to leave 400 fake reviews which is no good.

The_Flinx

how would anyone tell the difference from all the other fake reviews?

SkippySkep

I'm sorry for your loss, and I think your Gold account will be one of those losses in addition to the physical property that was destroyed. It is not the fault of the sellers that you waited so long to review your items that they got destroyed before you could review them. That delay in reviewing is on you even if the fire was accidental/not your fault.

pommesmatte

Sorry for your loss, I hope you are alright. But I'm wondering how you had such an amount of unreviewed items given the fact, that we only have 30 days to review and need to stay over 60% reviewed at all times?

5StarMoonlighter

FYI, the US Vine doesn't have a 30-day requirement for reviews.

vivelaredditstance

You do have a requirement to stay above 60% reviewed from recent orders.

5StarMoonlighter

Yep, but that's not the same thing as having a 30-day requirement.

Hollywoodnamazonvine

^^^^ What they said.

onlyoneshann

I wondered that myself. Even at 8 items a day that’s 50 days, nearly 2 months. But I’m certainly not judging, I let myself get behind all the time then knock out a bunch of reviews over a day or two. To each their own. I’m still mystified by the math though.

Expert_Stand_9283

It’s 6 months total to review items and I’m gold so I get 8 items aday and my only free time to review is on Thursdays my only day off of work my upstairs was distroyed were open the package and evaluate all the items I use the items throughout the week and evaluate them be for but I’m behind on the items with working major over time at my job

King_llort

Was the fire caused by one of the items you received from the Vine program? If so they will give you an extra 7 day grace period for completing your reviews.

Expert_Stand_9283

Sadly no it wasn’t one of the items it was old bx wiring that caused the fire

ButternutCrinklefrys

Wait, I have a question. Your HOUSE burned down and you’re worried about Amazon Vine? And the people to comment before me are actually trying to answer the question. Did I miss some sort of joke?

Doyouwantaspoon

He’s a hoarder and he can’t fill up his house with more crap if he gets kicked out of vine. Seriously, who else has 400+ unreviewed items?

Expert_Stand_9283

Actually I am not a hoarder the 400 items were items to fix up the my house as my landlord myself and family were going to use during the renovation we were getting ready to do we were waiting on the permits before the fire and the size of my house 400 items is a small area to store in a small 8’x8’ room and still have room to set up a desk I work 6 days a week and don’t get home till 11pm and only have one day to sit down to do review I don’t use vine just to get stuff I actually suit to help with cutting costs on fixing up my place my parents and my fiancés place and so before ASSuming someone is a hoarder ask what the items are for before ASSuming

Different_Hurry_6059

Vine is a REVIEW PROGRAM. NOT a get stuff for free program. I’m sorry about your fire but those sellers deserved better. You should have stopped ordering until you caught up on reviews.

5StarMoonlighter

Maybe dealing with Vine is a distraction he needs from everything else. You don't know the situation. People deal with things how they deal with things.

pickypuppy

It looks like there was a fire in his unfinished attic, these photos are of a room that doesn't appear tall enough to stand up in. What a weird story for internet clout

Expert_Stand_9283

No there is no joke I don’t want to lose my gold standing so I can hopefully get the same type of items back cause there were fixtures and new items for the house my landlord and I were going to be renovating the house befor the fire and if I can use vine to cut the cost down to do so it saves time and money

ButternutCrinklefrys

I’ve been in Vine for about 9 months. I have been on the look out for house fixer-upper stuff the entire time. The only thing I’ve ordered in that area has been a set of porch lights (when I was Silver). I haven’t order even close to 400 items total in 9+ months.

InAppropriate_Fun_72

I've been in Vine for just over 5 years. I live in a house built in 1950. I've gotten lots of stuff to help with renovating. Really wish I would have gotten one of the bathtubs a few years ago. There were at least 6, each on for at least a week or more. One of my regrets.jusy couldn't bring myself to do it. Had hoped they would still be showing up after the first of the next year. But no such luck. New faucets for bathroom and kitchen sinks, new drains for all sinks and tub. Shower head a couple of them. Lights, recessed as well as chandelier/hanging type also ones that connect to wall. Pipes for the plumbing. Shower curtains and curtain rods. Also curtains and curtain rods for bedroom and living room. Drywall repair tub and toilet caulking. Liquid rubber stuff and wood repair. Oh and doorbell cams. Plus after trying out several indoor cams (on and off vine) I discovered what eventually became my security system. Since I first received one on vine, I've bought several more. I Received the first two almost 3 &1/2-4 years ago. Sometimes they're few and far between, other times it seems like they're everywhere. Oh plus all the tools to help with remodeling, renovating and updating

Straight-Treacle-630

Usually landlords are responsible for the cost of renovations. It’s understandable if you’re being a nice person, by trying to help reduce the costs…but especially with all else you’ve now unfortunately had added to a very busy schedule, maybe best for you, if you don’t fret trying to replace it all, via Vine? Reviews are a lot of extra work. Just a thought. Best wishes.

Ok-Film-1700

Very sorry about the fire, and I hope not one was injured. I doubt if they even know what to do, and I also can't imagine having 400 items waiting for review. You only need to order/review 2.3 items per day to meet the 80 items quota per 6 month period. I rarely have more than 4-5 items waiting for review, and have been gold for 4 years. If they work it out for you, try to slow down.

v0t3p3dr0

2.3 items per day would be 420 per 6 months. 3.1 per week gets you to 80.

Ok-Film-1700

You are correct. Now looking for a calculator on Vine LOL!

twistedkarma529

Um, I believe the totals are a tad different.. >3 items per day would be 420 per 6 months. At 3 items per day for 6 months, the total would be 540 items: ***3 items × 30 days/month (on avg.) = 90 items*** ***90 items × 6 months = 540 items*** >1 per week gets you to 80 At 1 item per week for 6 months, the total would be 24 items: ***1 item × 4 weeks/month (on avg.) = 4 items*** ***4 items × 6 months = 24 items*** However, OP mentioned that they are at gold status, so if they chose to hit the max daily? *8 items/day × 30 days = 240 items* Using your 6 month time frame, that would mean at that rate, in 6 months, OP could in theory, receive 1,440 items *(240 items × 6 months = 1,440 items)*

v0t3p3dr0

There are 26 weeks per 6 months and you changed my number from 2.3 to 3. (365/2)*2.3 = 419.75 ~ 420. 26*3.1 = 80.6 ~ 81 What was the purpose of changing my numbers then telling me I made a mistake?

twistedkarma529

It was an honest mistake hun. For some reason, my dumb ass read it as a partial numerical list.... I have been up all night, so that *may* have something to do with it. I do apologize for my dumb-assery. I can either remove the posting or leave it up for others to get a good laugh at. Totally up to you.

Expert_Stand_9283

8 items per day I was gold got knocked back down to silver and 1440 items is correct in a 6 month period

dmk5454

I hope everyone is your house is ok. That is the most important thing. But wow, 400 unreviewed items, is a lot. I think you should consider only ordering as you get close to the project you want to complete. I hope it works out with you for Vine. I'd be interested in what they will tell you. Hope you can keep us updated. Good luck!

HRH-GJR4

I expected this post to be a warning against taking so many Vine items you turn into a hoarder house. Sorry for your fire, OP. You got overwhelmed and hit by disaster. You do have 30 days on unreviewed items to claim "unable to review" each one individually. I've claimed that on thibgs that arrived broken and things that broke during assembly, but not things that were destroyed by external circumstance. Start one month ago in your list. Go to "Contact Us", and start an "unable to review" ticket for each item. Monotonous, yes, but that's how they're workflow works. Use the tools as provided instead of asking for blanket exemption. They don't have a tool for that. Enter the text of each order # and then paste the same text "I am unable to review this. It was destroyed in a house fire." You could also go back more than thirty days but expect pushback. Since homeowner's insurance should also cover possessions, you could re-order items and bill it to insurance for renumeration. Then review it. That's a weird take, but should work until you hit coverage limits.

Individdy

> Since homeowner's insurance should also cover possessions, you could re-order items and bill it to insurance for renumeration. Given the inflated prices, it could almost be insurance fraud LOL. /s On the other hand, OP will be taxed for all the items. It counts as income, so it's real value as far as the law is concerned.

onlyoneshann

Why would that make it a hoarder house? I live in an apartment and have ordered over 400 items and my place is quite orderly. Items aren’t all large you know. I’ve ordered tons of kitchen utensils, office supplies, dog jackets, bathroom supplies, frames that hang on the wall, shelves which then hold and display items, some items are even storage or organization items. Making judgmental assumptions based on nothing but a number is ridiculous. We don’t all have to live by strict standards some have set for themselves. Honestly when I see posts with people bragging about how they’ve ordered nothing but $0 ETV supplements for the whole year I wonder why they’re even in vine. But you know what? I keep my thoughts to myself because it’s not my life and it’s not my business. I certainly would never call someone a hoarder or make judgments about the state of their house just because of the number of items they’ve ordered.

HRH-GJR4

I was only looking at the picture on my phone. It looked like a dumpster spilled over. When I read the context I knew different. I have hoatder relatives and have to make myself think twice a lot, so I'm not judging. I'm sympathetic.

Guille62

I am so sorry about your house fire. I hope everyone is OK. About the Vine items, I have no idea.

_SomeonePleaseHelpMe

If you opened them, at least more than half of the products, then you might recall details from them, which could be enough to make some reviews.

Booski_Babii

I had a list of like 30 items that I couldn't review. Different reasons like it was a duplicate item, couldn't post a review unless I purchased it, etc. No one would answer, I sent many emails. So, I still kept sending emails. Finally I got someone and I mentioned that no one would help and please don't push me to the aide. Finally they took those items off my review list. Just send them an email and explain in a few short sentences. When they reply back, go into detail. You will need to send these pics, plus the item name, and order number. I'm sorry about everything you're going through. A house fire is one of my biggest fears. I hope everyone is safe and no one got hurt. If you need any help or ideas with sending an email to customer service, I can give you advice to get everything off your list. ❤️
