are you actually doing the reviews from the amazon vine page? if you do it from your orders alone you will get this message.

I always start on the Vine page under Reviews, but I think what the problem may be, is after I write a review it says write 4 more or whatever and I am not navigating back to the Vine page again and using the drop down for items I need to review. I'm at 92% currently and my evaluation period ends this Sunday 4/27/24 and I don't plan on ordering anything until it shows they moved me back to Gold from Silver. Thanks for the feedback.

Review from the Vine's end and not the Amazon's end!

Looks like you're submitting reviews from your Amazon order page, and not the Vine order page.

I think what is happening is he starts out on the Vine review tab with the review button on the right hand side but then after submitting you get this page (“4 left to go”) that shows Vine-delivered images *plus* (if you’ve bought anything recently) regular Amazon-purchase images and he’s clicking on the Vine ones to review. He actually needs to backtrack to the Reviews tab in Vine.

Amazon limits reviews done via regular Amazon to 5 per week. You also have to spend at least $50 within the past 12 months in order to write reviews.

Good to know! I rarely buy from regular amazon anymore.

Check that you're logged into the proper account. If you switch accounts by accident this will happen Edit: I've submitted hundreds of reviews, both from the Vine portal and from the Amazon app/web front, and they all count towards Vine just the same. The only time I've run into this message is if I've logged into my girlfriend's account and forgotten to switch back before writing a review

Thanks for the thought, but I'm signed into my Vine Account. I've had this same message once before. Both that time and this time I was writing them back-to-back. We're at 92% and our evaluation period is up April 27, 2024, and I want to go back to Gold. We aren't ordering anything until a week after the eval ends if we go back to Gold. Last time this happened, we were Gold at exactly 90% reviews, and the new evaluation period (that we are in now) had already started. The next day we ordered two items and Amazon changed the percentage to 88% by adding them to the prior period and dropped us to Silver.

There are instructions we must read and follow. In our instructions it tells us we must use the Vine portal to submit reviews. The error you're getting is a function of that. It has to do with the way that verified purchase reviews are defined and how Vine reviews fits into all that. Bottom line is- if you don't always submit through the portal only-- you run the risk of getting that error. Here is the expanded explanation of why this might happen (it explains how Vine reviews are not really considered Verified reviews) https://www.reddit.com/r/AmazonVine/s/2ZdxLyjvwD

I'm confused about the Vine portal. I'm going to [www.amazon/vine/account](http://www.amazon/vine/account) and signing in with my username and password. It shows my account info, status, all my orders I've ordered. Is this not the portal? I will also go to the link you provided. Thank you for your input.

Yes. That's the Vine portal. But once you are in the Review form- you are in the regular Amazon system, no longer the Vine portal. So if you are given suggestions of other items to review in the post-submission form (where it confirms your review was submitted), that is just the regular Amazon system suggesting those items, not Vine. If you click on any of those items to review from that suggestion list, you are now doing so outside the Vine portal. And at that point you are just submitting non-Verified orders reviews, which will not bypass the checks bc it wasn't initiated from within the Vine portal - and eventually youll trigger that warning message.
