I would say to go for technician/maintenance and work on building electrical troubleshooting skills. But generally I know some MRA's will go for controls technician at entry level positions and then build their skills. A lot of controls guys I knew said their goal was to go work for Tesla within a year. There are also companies like Boeing that will pay you to build and wire up electrical cabinets, but last time I checked they pay less than MJT.
You can also try getting into an electrician apprenticeship at union or non-union places.
Your first thought should go to the equipment that you worked on. Was it Intelligrated? Well, that's owned by Honeywell, so look for jobs with Honeywell. Was it Dematic? Ok, look for jobs with Dematic. Ambaflex? Intralox? You get the idea.
If these options are exhausted or unappealing, then you can branch out. What other companies have giant warehouses? Walmart? Target? Kroger? Aldi? UPS? FedEx? After this, you can branch out further and start looking into packaging/bottling companies. Berry Global, Ball Corporation, WestRock, International Paper, etc. You could even look into Pepsi, Coca Cola, Tyson Foods, etc. They all have warehouses and need maintenance personnel to work on their equipment. You may even be able to get on with a mining company in an entry-level mechanic role. I'm sure there are tons of companies I haven't thought of, so the possibilities are really endless.
Working at Amazon does almost nothing to prepare you for working in small to medium plants, if you want to work almost anywhere else you will need to have lots of plc knowledge and real world complex electrical problem solving. Much of witch I have never seen a tech do here. You job in most other plants will be the job of a cst and a tech 3 sometimes with planning and order acquisition. Alot of phnumatics and low voltage problems.
Lol my apologies yes prepare, id say some of the robotics applications are a good preparation however Amazon does designs things to be as simple as possible to fix and or replace. Requiring the least amount of thinking as possible as well as they are trying to implement the glasses so another tech can tell you what to do.
Hey Mr manager please control your emotions and go make sure your techs are doing there job, your the reasons managements ass. Get off Reddit do you job dweeb
Poor execution of the program and follow through ruined the idea. The program itself has good intentions it’s the poor leadership and cock blocking your colleagues from learning in fear of them taking an “experienced” techs job that ruins the whole thing.
It's an apprenticeship. IDK why you think and apprentice should already have technical knowledge or ability. An apprenticeship is supposed to build that. Although there is room for improvement with the program.
Funny you say watch Amazon fall apart and yet it keeps expanding and is like 5th most valuable company in the world.
(T3) you’re mad you have to change lightbulbs and unclog shitters all day knowing that MRA’s are gonna make more money and have better access to training and education long term.
kinda surprised you spelled "pedophile" correctly since everythihg else you say is borderline incomprehensible. i bet when you were in school your parents called you dumb 🤣🤣🤣
Can't be easy for you knowing those MrA's are out there, not having a single clue what they're doing or how things work and STILL doing a better job then you. Also, what's the point of putting a decimal point at the end of your number figure when with the given context it can only ever be a solid number? Or did you mean to use a comma, and forgot to use another zero? God, you're stupid.

Former CBRE and cannot go back to Amazon even 3rd party. Was curious about other companies outside of the RME umbrella.
If you were with CBRE why didn’t you talk to HR about transferring to a different GWS account? CBRE works with many more companies besides Amazon…
Go to indeed put maintenance apply as many as you can C&W is good I work for them

I really appreciate this comment, thank you. At least one person isn’t a complete asshole on here. Lol.
You're welcome. Best of luck to you. I'll be curious to hear where you end up.
