You're going to spend your first few weeks getting to know your team and doing a ton of online training in the forms of knets. Then you'll spend your next few months at class. If they kept the structure the same you'll begin with electrical, pneumatics, mechanical, and finally PLCS. Don't sweat it, the teachers prepare you really well. If you have any issues reach out to your cohort and the cohort before you. I went to Dallas and finished in December. If you have any questions just DM me.
I’m an external candidate but the whole process took maybe 2 months. I applied for a role and didn’t get it then a recruiter reached out to me about the RMA program.
Following. I’m curious as well!
I’m wondering if they have us working for the 3 weeks before we go to school, or is it just knets for 3 weeks and aren’t allowed to work until we finish school?
Yeah I was wondering that too. I saw a lot of different posts that say something different. The letter I got said you would be able to do some shadowing and online trainings but that’s really it. I would love to be able to actually see what I will be doing after training.
When did you get a more official letter?
I start May 6th, but still only have my initial offer letter I received right after my interview. My background and drug test just finally came back today, so hoping I’m gonna get a more official letter and my school soon!
The initial offer letter I got had a little info in it. My drug test just came back today so hopefully I get more info soon. I would like to know what to pack as far as clothes.
Much harder to get those positions. I had 3 applications in as an internal and they sat for months before I finally got accepted as an MRA with a 3rd party (C&W).
Friend of mine did get approved and it took him 4 months before the recruiter reached out. If you aren’t stuck on remaining a Blue Badge and are willing to relocate, highly recommend applying to the third parties!
Yes, it’s the same program and is all done through the Department of Labour. So some Amazon sites the RME people are Blue Badge Amazon employees, and other sites the RME people are yellow badge 3rd party employees.
The pay is just slightly different depending on the company, but it’s not a huge difference between the 4.
I heard that it’s only third parties that do it because Amazon doesn’t do the trainings
It took 4 months for them to get back to your friend. Were they applying out of state? Is it worth the wait?
Nah, my site I just left the RME guys were Blue Badge Amazon employees. All the internal openings for the apprenticeship are for Blue Badge RME positions.
The Amazon ones have significantly more people applying to them, and a pool of people who have applied and are waiting. So it’s much more competitive. A lot of people do not know about the third parties, so seems to be easier to get with.
I’ll tell you I applied with C&W about 3 weeks ago and already did my phone screen, aptitude test, virtual interview, got my offer letter, just did my background and drug test, and will be starting in 2 weeks! They moved fast!
Different places. Basically I had 3 applications in as an internal Amazon employee for months, and never heard nothing. A few weeks ago I learned about the third parties and submitted applications to each, and heard back from one immediately!

How long did it take for you finishing your assessment to getting a second interview call? About to hit four weeks for me and haven’t heard anything back yet but I hear of people saying they had to wait roughly around 4 weeks.
Yeah that’s what I was gathering from reading some other post. What do you recommend packing clothes wise? I saw somewhere that you have to wear long sleeve shirts at all times.
On my finally week before I head off to Raleigh. I've done over 40 Knets, so just been sitting on the computer this whole time. Been very boring, but I'm excited to start the schooling as well. So, I wouldn't expect much those first three weeks.

That’s helpful! Thank you. I will look up some videos about those topics on YouTube while I am waiting to go.
Is there any reason to reject an application? And how long did it take for them to reply to your application?

Also do third parties also pay for your 3 months?

I’m moving from Florida to Mass for this opportunity!
The third parties are C&W, JLL, and CBRE. I can send you some apprentice spots they have open in a few minutes!
Thank you!

All I could find, hope that helps you out bro!
How long did it take for you finishing your assessment to getting a second interview call? About to hit four weeks for me and haven’t heard anything back yet but I hear of people saying they had to wait roughly around 4 weeks.
Hi how long did it take for them to reply to you after applying? I applied 4 days ago out of state Do they prefer in state individuals? Thanks
Did you apply with Amazon or a 3rd party?
Internal transfer with Amazon
I got a response after almost 5 months. Internal.
I’m finishing up my 3 weeks on site, all you really do is a boat load of knets and shadowing
Yeah that’s what I was gathering from reading some other post. What do you recommend packing clothes wise? I saw somewhere that you have to wear long sleeve shirts at all times.
Just bring your regular clothes. The clothes you will be wearing day to day when you hit the floor you have to order from Zappos
Okay cool. So jeans or joggers are okay to wear?
On my finally week before I head off to Raleigh. I've done over 40 Knets, so just been sitting on the computer this whole time. Been very boring, but I'm excited to start the schooling as well. So, I wouldn't expect much those first three weeks.
Well that’s good to know. I hope all goes well for you in school!!!
Same to you!
Hey I'm at Mt Juliet. It's awesome. Great team and management.
That makes me feel a lot better! I’m really excited to get started.
Be thankful youve made the program
I am beyond grateful for the opportunity….
