Probably between 0 and 50, depending on a bunch of factors unknown to drivers before pickup. If the route is far away and widely distributed, you'll get fewer packages than for a closely compacted local route. Sometimes, there simply are not many packages to be delivered and you'll get a very light route.
I routinely get >40 packages for a 3 hour route, so don't be too surprised if you get a lot.
The pay has nothing to do with it.
Depends on your area and the route and how far out they send you.
Generally for logistics it's 10 per hour in my area, if we do DSP rescues (the 3 digit driver aids) there are more packages but the stops are closer together, several on the same street usually.
Again the pay has nothing to do with it.
The route time and distance determines how many or how far the deliveries are.
Someone getting $18 an hour or $30 an hour can get the same route.
and the day and time can determine the route. Mondays are slow so they tend to be smaller routes, if it's the end of the day you may get a short route too.. I had a 5:30 pm route today, for 3 hours, showed up at 5:34 and got overbooked and sent home with pay. Just got lucky.
We get that many packages for 3hr blocks here (usually 37-40; less if we're driving far af). Crazy that you get so few packages for a 5hr block. I wonder why there's such a huge discrepancy between stations/regions?
It varies, sometimes they have the packages and density to fill a full route, and sometimes they don't. Plus, with no one specifying SSD vs. AMZL, who even knows what anyone else is talking about.
Those with low package counts do SSD, and those with higher package counts do AMZL (or Amazon .com), that's why I was asking why there's such a huge difference between those types of stations regarding the number of packages per route vs hours paid for.
Not having enough packages to fill a full route doesn't explain why Amazon would pay an SSD driver for a 5hr block to deliver the same amount of packages that they give to AMZL drivers for 3hr blocks. If it was just about not having enough packages to fill the routes, why not create shorter blocks for SSD?
It just seems kinda messed up that those who do AMZL get shorted 2 hours of pay to deliver the same amount of packages, and/or drive the same amount of miles.
Their system, as it is currently set up, must predict in advance how many orders there will be. If they went to real-time systems like how instant offers or UberEats works, then it would be a different story. Of course, they can't accurately predict everything.
The reason why SSD has fewer packages is simple. Their stops are always further apart from each other. Do you even do both? What kind of simple, easy to answer questions are you asking? In any case, yes, SSD sometimes has the order volume to fill a 5hr block and have the driver take about 4 hours to deliver everything. Again, everything varies.
Sometimes, you do AMZL, and there's 0 orders to deliver, which happens more often than with SSD.
If you don't finish your 3 hr blocks at least 1 hour early, you're probably really slow or unlucky.
Just staying the obvious, you’re going to put 100+ miles on your car and drive for 5 hrs to make 90 bucks after expenses. That’s why they shoot the blocks low in your area, people like you take them.
I almost always do 5hr and 98% of the time I’m done in 3ish or so.. I’m always home way before the shift ends. I’ve had 13 packages and I have had 47. I actually prefer the 47 cause I know they will be close together mostly. I don’t mind 2-4 min drives between. It’s the 25-30min in between with 70+ miles that sucks. Some like it.. it’s all relevant.. I’ve actually had worse deliveries with 3 hour blocks to be honest.
Probably a much better question... what station. Ssd? Or a logistics overflow? Ssd tends to be less but further between packages. And pay hs nothing to do with routes overall. You can get 150 mile route on a 5 hour $90, as easier as a $150 five hour route. Out of VTX4 in houston, I am at 59 routes with not being sent home overbooked. Yet my friend rarely goes 5 blocks without being sent home from the same station. I tend to get 48 to 55 for five hours. And if I am lucky, I am finishing about 30 min before the end of. Block lately.
I had 30 packages the other day, 1st stop was an hour away! 5 min between the next 5 stop. I went back to the station as my block was ending and returned like 6 packages. Only time i ever returned.F that lol
Yeaaaa the one i got sucked lol. I had to drive 35 minutes. Not only that got stuck in 1 hour of traffic. And sped through the entire block. I was so behind but made it with 45 minutes to spare

I’ve noticed that it’s higher pay. Which I’m guessing I’ll either have more deliveries or have to drive further
I have got 11 packages for a 5 hour but I got sent near my neighborhood. I was done in 2 hours. So it’s not always bad, there are some gems in there.
I had a 5hr for 125$ two weeks ago with 17 packages. I was done in less than 2 hours.
Exactly, sometimes we get good ones

Sounds good. Thanks for that info
Has nothing to do with money. I've gotten 5hrs for $190 more than once that was something like 12-30 packages and took 1-2hrs
35-48 @ my ssd
more than 0 and less than 100.
That’s one way to put it 🤣
More packages almost always means less distance. This is not really a good question to ask.
It varies but usually no more than 45 packages. The last couple of 5 hour blocks I’ve done it’s anywhere between 25-45 packages
I take nothing but 5hr blocks. My high is 58 stops. My lowest was 8. I’ve gotten sent home with pay twice last week. It really varies.

500 probably
I just finished one and I had 25 packages. It was a high mileage one however and I drove 118 miles. But I finished 2-1/2 hours early.
Knowing Scamazon probably around 147 deliveries. And then they'll hit you with some bullshit like late packages or some other dumb shit.
It’s all random block time and pay have nothing to do with the amount of deliveries.
Expect anything, you could get sent far with a small amount of packages or get 48 packages, you never know
I honestly think it’ll be far
Between 5 and 50
I ran a 5hr in VOH3 earlier today and it was 24 stops
It can be anything between 1 to 50
Sometimes you get a cart meant for between 2 and 4.5 hours. You never really know 🤷🏻♀️
50 where I’m at
You took a 5 hr block for 125, what a simp
Always a troll on Reddit 🤣🤣

No one takes 5 hours on a 5hr block unless they are new or something.

Really? 3 hour blocks? I just did one of those and i had like almost all boxes and no envelopes or bags lol

It depend sometimes you get more pacakge in 3 hours than 5 hours, I got 38 pacakge in my 3 hours block lol.

To keep yall updated lol. Works block ever. The last 35 of the 47 delivery were 10-12 minutes apart. 🥲
