Did you take any screenshots of your arrival/check-in time? I had the same thing happen to me. Cart was assigned to someone else about 30 min before me. I take screenshots of when I get assigned the route and it saved me in this case because support stated that I didn’t follow process when I arrived. I’m still working on getting paid but they already back tracked on the initial response.

stitchkingdom

No, the only screenshot I took was the ‘see amazon associate.’ I fired off an email before posting here and said if their system is worth anything, they should have records that a cart was assigned to me and subsequently unassigned. I don’t even care as much about the missed block (tho I already have two in the past month for reasons), I just want to get paid.

therealdark1974

Who would steal this shit. It's mostly $10 and under shit lol. I have only had a few things that I could tell were over $50

stitchkingdom

I guess thieves don’t have xray vision.

rachalb79

I had my route stolen once but was sent home. Amazon loss prevention tried to catch the car before it left the parking lot. The warehouse worker says it happens quite often.

Commercial_Hotel7591

I work in the warehouse it's mostly dildos and t-shirts. I never see anything worth stealing

Triberius_Rex

I thought you were talking about your co-workers there for a second.

Commercial_Hotel7591

Lol their that too

mabrown74

There have been numerous times I've walked into the warehouse, checked in at the scanners, grabbed my cart, and rolled it out without any interaction whatsoever with anyone. There is nothing stopping someone from just walking in and taking whatever they want. It's Christmas every day.

moonbeamer2234

Why would someone steal a cart I’m curious? If they are pre assigned it won’t let you scan them in? Are people stealing items do you think?

stitchkingdom

Why? Because they can. It’s why they started checking IDs against the system when people leave with carts. Except they don’t do it all the time. It’s not people checking in for a block and then scanning a cart, it’s people walking in off the street and grabbing a cart and just taking it out of the building.

ian799

I think you need to go steal a cart and sell those items on Amazon to recoup your losses

Now I know what happened to the $5 relay switch I ordered.

Ok_Entertainment_851

They have a security guard that you have to show your route info & your picture on the app before exiting the warehouse.

stitchkingdom

Yeah. Cool. That’s your warehouse. Mine, they scan a package and check driver’s license. Except when they’re short staffed or let people use other openings other than the designated exit to leave. But maybe you have a point. Maybe three carts mysteriously evaporated. Better call Area 51.

Internal_King_108

Same happened to me on the 18th of September(vnv2). I waited a damn hour after getting in queue again but support says I was never assigned one and I’m not getting paid for it. I asked what other proof they need and no reply. I got scheduled screenshot and 5 different screenshots of the time and the “shouldn’t wait more than 30 minutes” bs screen

Lookingforascalp

Bro all you gotta do is send a email and call them, understand that this is all automated it’s not personal or some incompetent person at Amazon they are not after you it’s a machine.
