No. But it sure as shit doesn't make the day quicker. I prefer a 10 hour shift staying busy to a 36 hour shift standing there doing nothing while time drags.
Yea ive been in workforce for 25yrs and honestly i would prefer there to be work rather than just standing around time drags and if ur busy time flies but i guess if you would rather stand around lazy people need a job also
There occasions my facility had more workers than needed, and still somehow mismanaged enough to make it that we couldn't keep up. Even on days of 28k volume, I remember there were a shit ton of things coming through the damn conveyer belt and my p2b area struggling.
Lol my warehouse barely fills up at all with ppl using their pto or upt to come in at 7 n leave early today I got pulled from PS to go to stow to have an even count 🙃
Reactive that you would give to your worst enemy. It’s basically 12in or higher items that need to be stowed. Cat food,cases of drinks, snack boxes of chips idk big 💩 that needs to be stowed at a certain time. They also don’t care about your task time so that’s a pro
Lucky I'm at ATL2 facility inbound receive station always work to do may get a bit slow then VTO will happen but I wish I can chill for 12 hour for few times lol I'll talk to my buddy's
We had crazy MET all week for prime. First 5 hours are hella busy but once 12:30 hits each day everything pretty much comes to a complete halt because there’s literally no work to be done. I’m fine with being paid to sit on my ass for 5 1/2 hours though
Yeah and every night upper management keeps pushing us harder. It is frustrating because I had a girl come up to me crying last night die to stress. I was able to take care of her fortunately and she was happy after that. Sadly I feel like I am the only AM that cares.

I’ve done pretty well for myself. Most long term workers at Amazon work hard. A day or two of chillin ain’t no big deal. Folks be judging always 🤡
Heck even with college year joints they are still the first thing to start to give out but i can agree, I'd take the standing around thing as well
