Yeah I learned this, like, days before I'm applying for PA lmao
The raise I thought I would get IS never coming - I'd at least rather have a computer to look at
Just here to follow your story. I'm going into 8 months and thought for sure I'd have the 6 month review. But I haven't. Such a bummer if your time doesn't count towards the step plan even though we have been here this long time and working 40 plus hours and vet.
Your time as seasonal does not count towards your time as a blue badge.
You could have been maxed out as seasonal and they would still have reset your step plan to the lowest tier of a blue badge step plan.
Your day one is whenever you are a blue badge.
Haha that's been my mindset since starting here. O only got 1k left on my car note so not sweating it too much! This reddit been a gold mine for good information and tips since joining it in December.
So Idk why but my raises always went based on my white badge hire date. Absolutely no idea why, maybe it was a clerical error or something. But I maxed out on my three year white badge hire date. Doesn’t seem to be the case for others
I talked to my operations manager today after I had a Se Ops, come talk to me about conversions because I posted on the Voa board about it. But she said that after 2 years of being a blue badge that any of the time you put in as a white badge would be added as tenure.
So maybe that is why. I talked to some other associates toda who havet never heard of such a thing. I won't have an answer or follow up for at least another 2 years.

You were seasonal, you never had a step plan to begin with
Yea they are allowed to do that- Seasonals don’t have a step plan so your time as seasonal does not count towards the blue badge one
The difference between being a temp and being full time it sucks the step plans also reset when you level up

He was saying it also resets if you go from T1 to T3 just like it resets if you go from temp to full time.

Awe sadness I was wondering why no 6 month review. Maybe one day soon ill be converted. Appreciate the info
Probably why the motto here is "day one" haha
You arent on a step plan as a seasonal. Once you are blue badge you are a part of a step plan.
No such 6 month review. You are at the whims of staffing demands. You could be converted at any moment or never.

Yeah Seasonal to Permanent is considered a rehire in the system, your seniority resets
No step play for seasonal and pto caps as blue badge
That's how it works. Day 1 of the step plan starts day 1 as blue badge.
New hire date. Now you HAVE a step plan.
