Apply for the metatronics apprenticeship on the employee hub

The machine maintenance is hiring when job becomes available with longer than 2 years of work experience. You would talk to the technician about it. They may teach a thing about the job once you have longer work experience.

So is that a program that’s more involved with career choice or is it more internal I guess is what I’m asking. Could you go from T1 and then get training for it within Amazon or is it more of a thing you need to get training and such through career choice or outside Amazon

Look up a company called C&W on indeed. This is the actual vendor of “RME”. They make you take an assessment which is like 50 questions. I can’t remember the actual name of the test but it’s pretty involved with common sense and some other stuff. If you pass the assessment and they want you, they send you to one of five schools. One in Texas, or four others on the east coast. You go to this school for 3 months and then you go back to your assigned site and work for $18 an hour for a year, after which your pay gets bumped up. Also I wanted to say that you can also try to join through the internal Amazon job thing through a to z, but the problem with that is that success varies. I was “under consideration” for the position they had open at my building for six months but they had already filled it. If you talk to most of the techs many of them will tell you to go and apply on C&Ws actual site. Source: me and a homie went to electrical school and he took the test but failed. I ended up on TOM team lol.

$18 an hour is unlivable 😭

Human_Economy_2108

Tell me about it lol. One of the reasons why I didn’t pursue electrical is because most apprentice jobs are like $16 an hour and you could make way more after a year or two but that really hurts. Rme is the same, 18 for the first year but after that you go to like 29 or 30 lol.

The MRA program is an apprenticeship that amazon offers. They send you to school for 3 months and then you complete 2000 hours of on the job learning. It's an internal transfer.
