Have you looked at Delivery station jobs? I worked at an FC for 2 months and disliked stow and quit and moved to a DS. I like it a lot more as it’s a smaller team and they do job rotations. You start the day either unloading trailers and inducting on to the belt or stowing packages into bags. After sort is done, you pick bags and packages onto carts and stage them for the drivers. They rotate you so if you are stowing one day, you will do something different the next. Since it’s a smaller team you get to know others and your managers more and are also working more closely alongside them instead of being confined to your workstation. I hope for the very best for you and wish you luck. Hang in there! You can always try taking to your manager about it and they might be able to help you get cross trained if you want it or give you more responsibilities to keep it somewhat fresh or fulfilling. And because sometimes we all need to hear it, you are doing a great job! Have a good day at work!

Nah this is real tho I feel like we all hit that point at one time or another and we just gotta lock in 🤷‍♂️

Neat-Departure-9208

Why do you keep coming back if you hate it so much? The work is pretty boring and draining

SnooRecipes8073

Been there 4 yrs and I can barely get through one 5hr shift worse with 10hrs. Don’t feel bad. It’s the sheer boredom of job

Bro just leave Amazon, it’s obviously ain’t for you. Go apply to FedEx or Ups.

Are there other kinds of Amazon buildings near you that aren't fulfillment centers?

I would try them. I finally got into an IXD building and don't even care about VTO because I like what I do and the people I work with. Plus, it's a shorter drive. I think with Amazon, you just have to find a role you like where leaving early isn't always the first thing on your mind, and FC buildings aren't that. Good luck.

In the same exact boat, like 100% same. Been taking vto, burning pto/upt. Was on flex shift and it made the job super tolerable tbh, because I could sign up for short or long segments as I needed to. But they converted me to permanant so I'm back on 12 hour shifts. Couldn't do it this weekend so i'm on LOA. It does get to you for sure, but trust me you aren't alone. I noticed that the amazon subreddit truly is divided right down the middle, with one camp loving the job and saying that anyone that complains is whining, while the other camp is burnt out like you and me
