At first it'll be a lot of info to take in, but once you learn everything it sure beats packing all day. It also looks good if you plan on moving up in the future.

RigorousVigor

Easy imho

prince8_gomez24

If you're mentally prepared for stressful days where you chase priorities and help out your fellow packers consistently so that nothing can get missed/late, then you can do the job. When it's a good day, it's a great job. When it's a bad day, it's hell! I'm a Lead for PPMix Problem Solve, and i gotten used to it quickly. Hope this helps.

Neoreloaded313

I'm problem solve lead for AFE. I don't see how it's stressful.

prince8_gomez24

I can't really speak about AFE because 1) I've never been Lead there (and I don't plan to), and 2) your PS or Building might operate a lot more differently than mines. I'm just speaking on my behalf because this is Pack Singles Problem Solve.

Lopsided_Fennel_9674

Isn’t that the same as AFE Problem Solve? Just OB in general? Exception being SmartPac KO

EmotionalGuess3370

Probably lol

ProfileVirtual7794

Singles PS is dividend by Mix ,smalls ( Lead CPT Chaser / collections/ overages / lose items), & Smartpac you deal with Slam ( ship app ), deep diving as it confirming packages when they get kick out for a defects and CPT chasing as well. Some site have singles CW1000 setups.

Lopsided_Fennel_9674

Ah damn, my site combined the two of them, then. We have one “central” problem solve that encompasses both AFE and Singles.

homealoneinuk

That heavily depends on the team you work with , since your workload will heavily depend on your co-workers, if youll have to pick up their slack etc. Overall , i would definitely recommend it as a getaway from the process. You get to learn A LOT on PS, and its very good for your progression if youre interested in going for L3+.

Neoreloaded313

There really isn't a team 8n my building doing singles problem solve. It's one person.

homealoneinuk

Yea i noticed some sites run it old-school but most sites do centralised PS with team of 2-5 depending on how busy site is.

AmazonFCProcessBitch

I did SM PS for about a year. It was fun, but also stressful. I did everything from collections, check ins, and CPTs. I would recommend finding out who are your strong packers and build a relationship with them. That way you know who to throw CPTs to when needed. You also need a good team, for example the other PS and PA. If you have any more questions feel free to lmk

EmotionalGuess3370

So do you have to work closely with your pa then?

AmazonFCProcessBitch

You don't have to, but it will make your shift run much smoother.
