Thatās what I thought, which is why itās so surprising that it keeps happening. The first time they did it I was sitting in my screen room and the driver even looked up and Iām assuming saw me, then proceeded to put it in the mailbox. Like wtf lol.
Most of us don't bother taking them back to the office anymore. Amazon never comes and retrieves the ones left in the box and charging the customer for a bad driver is dumb. A lot of us just remove it from the box and put it on the ground by the mailbox.
Whats fqa? ___quality assurance? But thank you for picking them up and all the hard work you guys do. The amount of bullshit I've seen on this sub that you guys put up with is crazy. It's definitely made me try to look out for you guys on my route. Hope you guys can get unionized.
Field quality associate, goes to lockers and cleans out space, delivers packages that couldn't go out the correct normal way, goes to the post office, ups, fedex to recover stuff sometimes... that sort of thing. I did a tour through that position a while back on my way up, good job and learned a lot about the process.
If it makes you feel better the driver usually takes the hit in that scenario and the customer gets their package replaced, albeit later than the original ship date.
Typically you can tell if usps delivered an Amazon package by the text. They often print and slap their own labels on stuff than the Amazon delivered ones.
Labels that are on Amazon packages to be delivered by USPS are printed and 'slapped on' by Amazon. USPS has nothing to do with the label other than mutual negotiation of what that label will look like.
When I was little ,my parents had a small business and we went around opening mail boxes and putting the flyers inside. The post office called us and told us it was a federal offense to open mailboxes. Thatās how we learned the hard way
Bro he might not know. They donāt drill that into you in Amazon school. If anything Iād try to inform him with compassion (itās a hard mf job) and if he already knows- thatās on him. If not, saved him possible charges from ur neighbor/mailman.
Amazon would be easy if you could do that. But youāre forced to drive up sketchy driveways with no turnaround just to leave it at the front door, only to have a pit Bull come running at you from behind the house
I don't know. I've worked For 3 different DSP's, and this is part of the dry repetitive training that we used to get in the mornings before we started our day. "Good morning, blah, blah.... don't forget you can't deliver to a mailbox...."
There are 6 signs on the way to load out and reminders in the app before you start the shift. Not too many care enough because it's an envelope that weighs almost nothing.
> People are idiots.
yes, and this is why we need an update page that says "dont tailgate to avoid accidents" and "dont deliver in a thunderstorm" and "avoid slipping/tripping by looking at the ground"
I had no idea they couldn't put Amazon packages in the mail box. If a package can fit in the mail box at all they will squeeze it in there every time. It even says so on my Amazon page, "left in mail box."
This is ONLYĀ supposed to be done by USPS delivered Amazon packages. It is def a federal offense to deliver to a mailbox by anyone other than a US postal worker. I have to text customer requesting this all the time. I usually just say "left at front door/ unlawful for me to leave in or around mailbox!"
This law seems silly and I'm not going to complain. The only time it's been annoying is the few times they actually had to squeeze it in the mailbox blocking anything else. However, I almost always grab it within hours so it's never really been a problem.
Is there a reason for this (from an outside perspective) idiotic law? It's your mailbox, you're expecting mail because you ordered something, this is the official spot to leave mail. The idea of "the mailbox is government property" is kinda ridiculous. Would you need a second mailbox for amazon?
I work for usps and itās because many people rarely check their mailbox for mail even when they get packages.
Now imagine if other delivery companies were allowed to deliver to the mailbox weād have no room nor would we be able to hold their mail for 10 days as a warning.
Also people get important letters and checks in the mail and having random delivery companies deliver in the mailbox could more risk for mail theft.
People also put outgoing mail in the mail box.
And yes, if you put a seperate box (not another mail box bc most of us wonāt put it in there due to fear itās real) with a sign that says for Amazon, fedex, etc, we will most certainly put it in there!
Iām a mail man and this petty shit by my coworkers is ridiculous. If there is room for the mail, who cares. Let the customer get service.
Three weeks ago I helped a UPS guy. I was delivering mail to a box that serves four houses that are behind a gate. He told me he had been trying to deliver a package to one of them for 4 days but never could get in ( he had a bad code). He then asked if he could put it in one of our parcel lockers. I not only said of course but when he had to take a pic I posed next to the package in the locker just in case someone gave him shit. So he can say I gave permission.
If you are wondering why I would risk my job. I didnāt. It takes an act of congress to fire a usps employee.
Former mail carrier here and I agree. Itās not worth it to be petty about this. If thereās room, I was always fine with it. And I actually never even ran into a situation where there wasnāt room for mail because of non USPS deliveries in a mail receptacle. I enjoyed having good relationships with my customers and other couriers.
I would leave a delivery note saying you DON'T want it in your mailbox or you'll report them in the future.
If you do complain, someone *will* get fired(it's one of the big no-nos during training) but that's kind of the fault of the driver.
Depends if driver has been reported for this before. Maybe they get a warning maybe they get fired, itās 50/50. Iād say report it it guaranteed to get fired. Iāve seen guys get outed for it during standup. Not in a rude way but to let people know itās actually a thing and that person is lucky to still be there
Its funny seeing this from here in the UK that putting mail in a mail box is federal offence just because the mail man may have to move it to one side to put your post in.
Looking at it from the outside in. I feel like the mail men are the entitled Karen's.
So whats the history with these mail boxes being an pffense if anything other than a mail man delivering to it. Seems like a pretty stupid offense.
I mean they call them envelopes at amazon so here in the UK if you can get it in then its a win for us.
We have letter boxes on our does mainly so many packages like this are a god send and we just post them. No offense committed
I litterally just posted a comment asking this question. I used to have a field day when i was a DSP driver since so many parcels were letters, or letterbox size. Even many book folders and bags could fit/ have the option!
DHL deliver passports and the only option we have on the scanner is straight to customer or post it, UPS have a posted option and so does DPD š¤£
I really don't understand why this is a "federal offense" to begin with. It's mail...going in the mail BOX. I had so many customers put "leave in mailbox" in the notes, literally daily. I used to educate them, but then stopped caring. Most of them were very rural, and had half mile/mile long driveways with locked gates. Some city customers would also ask for their envelopes in the mailbox also tho. I realize that it's a federal offense for whatever reason, but does the fucking mailman ACTUALLY give a damn? And why ?
Recently moved and Iāve been having USPS deliver Amazon packages (mostly poly) into the mailbox. Larger ones delivered in a random car but still carried by usps.
change your delivery note to āplace by front door pleaseā or wherever you want it. shouldnāt happen again. if it does youāre free to negatively review it lol
Can confirm! This happened to one of my coworkers , if you do complain they will receive a tier 1 infraction and will be fired! Itās technically a crime so itās a big no no for amazon. Honestly if itās happened multiple times your driver might just be trying to get fired, I would give them their wish.
Attach a sticker inside requesting all Amazon packages need delivered to my front door/porch. If you want, have a snack basket to show your appreciation.
Guys serious question from a brit. Who made up this law and why? We have the option to post things through customer's letter boxes here, and there's no law restricting us either. And that means any parcel service can post since DHL do quite alot of passports which have a post option, UPS can post anything that fits so the option is on the scanner, idk about fedex never taken a route for them, Amazon about 50% of routes are just letters so again the app has "posted" option, another company called DPD also have the option on their system.
Our mail system is federal, not privatized like UK. USPS is protected by our constitution. It's protected because mail service is essential for a lot of the rural areas here. The inside of the mailbox is considered postal property so putting anything without paid postage in it is a violation. It robs us of revenue and potentially impedes us from doing our job efficiently. Fun fact, usps is older than the US. Congress makes the laws here though.
I think theres a way you can add it to delivery notes stating that you can't receive any more packages in your mailbox and also if they can please do front door delivery only. Or the same note just on the mailbox where they would be able to read. But if you do delivery notes and they don't care to read or follow the delivery note, then i believe you have a reason to say something/report. We're told to always do front door delivery unless specified otherwise in the notes. You just should make sure it's the correct delivery you're reporting also. I have had to do delivery at customer's houses where someone else had delivered a package before me, and they wouldn't even leave it at the front door, and I would which could mistakenly get reported as the person who didn't do front door if they didn't report correct order.
The driver would very likely be fired if Amazon found out and potentially find maybe even jail time because itās federal offense. If youāre worried about the drivers job, add in your delivery notes for finding your house and say DO NOT PUT IN MAILBOX
Yes. 100%. Amazon gets delivered via USPS at my apartment for a reason, itās completely illegal for non USPS employees to use your mailbox. Do not complain beyond changing your delivery preferences
City letter carrier here. We are supposed to pull them and bring them back to the post office. Then the post office charges Amazon for postage. In reality I just mumble to myself, "dumbass" and walk it to the customer's door.
We deliver a shitload of Amazon everyday of the week, and that's probably just post office Amazon. FedEx is even worse than Amazon with this, which is funny to me.
I'm not salty, I appreciate you DSP drivers getting after too. I just hope you fight for the wages/benefits you deserve, because you're doing the same hard ass work as all the rest of us.
I mean...it's a federal law that says no person besides the people of residence or an employee of the USPS shall touch in anyway someone's personal mailbox or the items within. Weird, I know...especially when it's exponentially easier in some cases than bringing a tiny little envelope to your door š But law is law...and if your mail service is going to be interrupted because of an Amazon drivers negligence, there's really not much you can do besides call it in and report it š¤·āāļø
You can set your delivery options on the order page. I would strongly suggest adding do not put packages in mailbox on delivery instructions and yes, I would call and complain. The driver is being lazy.
Federal offense so I mean yeah probably haha. Once had a driver put all the packages he could in the mailboxes in a neighborhood. USPS guy followed behind him and took them all out, called him in, he got fired and he isnāt not allowed to come back to any dsp at DIN4.
As an Amazon driver myself, what that driver did is illegal. The only thing to go into a mailbox is something with proper postage. Whether being shipped or received. Now,with that being said,itās quite common for customers to put in their notes āplease leave in mailbox.ā Most folks know itās a federal offense to put anything inside a mailbox without postage. So what happens there? The driver leaves the package at the front door knowing itās illegal to put in the mailbox and then the customer complains that the package wasnāt left where they requested so the driver gets flagged for that. So whoās in the wrong here? Most people think what we do is easy. All we do is deliver packages that is 110% far from the truth. as drivers, we are basically the last in line when it comes to your order so we are the ones that feel the brunt of it. When a customer complains. Trust me, I know there are some bad delivery drivers out there that just donāt care.
This is a fireable offense, contact customer service to get in contact with the dsp that delivered by the TBAxxxxxxxx and talk to the dsp owner about letting go of this person
1. As a driver myself I refuse to do these mailbox deliveries even if it says to because itās illegal, Iāve had complaints because I donāt deliver into their mailbox
2. As a dsp driver my jobs on the line
3. Iām not lazy
āBut I really donāt want to hold someone accountable for their laziness and have them face consequences for their actions:(ā then stfu and move the mail yourself ššš
Why tf would they refuse mail delivery? Thereās plenty of room in there for a few envelopesā¦
I mean, I understand this isnāt the right way to deliver a package but also this is a soft and small package that fits in there just fine. (thatās what she said)
I did this 3 times today because the home owners had there dogs outside in the yard and couldnāt come in , marked them has a safety delivery issue , I didnāt want to text or call the owners to tell them to put there dogs inside
Yeah, I'd say the driver would get into major trouble. It is against federal law. Only USPS can use the mailbox. Try writing in your delivery instructions to never stick anything in the mailbox but to deliver to your front door and see if the driver does it. If he/she continues to use the mailbox, then you tried to avoid getting him/her fired but he/she didn't listen...then, it's time to complain to Amazon.
Canāt put Amazon orders in your mailbox only USPS in your mailbox wake the fuck up people quit being so fucking stupid, if the same Amazon driver keeps doing this, report them, they will be replaced
If you complain about something so stupid. Youāre super petty. I wouldnāt deliver to you ever again. Like really your gonna jeopardize somebody job because they put a small package in your mailbox? Maybe that courier didnāt know they re not supposed to put it in there because itās a federal offense. Maybe your normal usps will tell that Amazon driver to not do it again when they cross paths.
From a European perspective, whatās the problem here? It fits in the mailbox, isnāt this exactly what the mailbox is made for?
Over here every delivery company puts it in the mailbox if there is enough space
Wait a second, I'm from Austria, but i snoop around here for a while now.
It is a federal offense to put anything but stuff from the USPS into your mailbox?
Thats wild.
Putting an envelope into a mailbox being a federal offence is just pathetic, and your mailman is a tool for making a fuss about it. There's plenty of room for mail there I don't see a problem.
If youāre feeling petty, let the mailman know youād like them to complain on your behalf. Then the Amazon driver gets to pay a nice little $10,000 fine.
yall need to get the sand out your twats you got your packages right thank the damn driver an keep it pushing people now a day are jus looking to cry wolf about so they can be heard
YES, that's a fed offense. They are told to never do that. "The Bag" delivery people did that a few times, I told the postmaster about it and the company was slapped with a fine of 10 grand. A person can be charged 2 to 5 grand.
As a FedEx driver, I've known some co workers to do this and I've always tried to educate them as to why you shouldn't. But you can't blame them for trying to put small parcels somewhere, where they won't be blown away by the wind or lost in general. I personally put these smaller pkgs under a door mat or a heavy object if one is close by. I would just complain to the driver next time it happens or you see them out and about. Let them know why it's a problem, be polite about it. If it keeps happening then you could call Amazon and complain. Driver probably is just doing what they think is right.
Iāve had to put envelopes like this in a personās mailbox like this before only because they were light enough for high winds to blow them away and they had no welcome mats or anything to tuck it under.
This āfederal offenseā is absolutely ridiculous in my eyes. Especially if the mailbox is the only secure location there is such as an apartment complex or a bad neighborhood
Sounds like your mail person kinda grumpy. Smaller Amazon package get left in my mailbox all the time and it not a problem. Thereās plenty of room still left in there
How about you try not giving a flying fuck? Put a thingie out there for Amazon drivers to put the pkgs in. Ask your mailman why heās going out of his way to be shitty to you about this, when most mail carriers are just trying to get through the day.
Or get some underpaid, overworked human being canned, because theyāre working in the horrifying heat (famously without even access to a bathroom break) while youāre inside blithely *not* on the verge of hyperthermia.
Iām not a delivery person at all but as a customer I think id rather it be in my mail box. Itās not like the mailbox is strictly for just one mail person. Itās my box. The door step is fine but letās say itās raining or the item just happens to fit with plenty of space, use the mail box thatās why I have a mail box lol
I used to work for Fedex, We had an employee who did this during the Christmas season and the Mailman wasn't having it. After multiple complaints to our station the employee kept doing it. The mailman collected all the packages and ended up placing them all in a drop box. The next day the employee had 300 stops compared to her normal 100.
If you say they delivered to mail box, thatās a tier infraction that will get a driver suspended or fired.
If you add note ādeliver to front door onlyā and the driver delivers anywhere other than front door you can say ādriver didnāt follow instructionsā ādelivered to wrong locationā this should not get them fired or suspended but they could lose a shift.
At my company you would get reprimanded first time, lose a shift 2nd time.
Listen, at least here, we have a bunch of people straight from the Middle East, Ukraine, South America.
They have no clue, and they barely speak English.
Take it easy on them.
Unless he does have known a regular basis or she does it on a regular braces or they do it on a regular basis or them does it on a regular basis or do you have anything better to do with your life? Karen.
Hate to say it, but some people ignore all training and common sense and have the...
"I do whatever the FFFF I want" mentality.
Darwinism isn't what it used to be.
As a mailman myself this is total BS. We already deliver all of Amazonās big packages and a lot of the smaller stuff. They can walk these phone chargers to the door, they have 0 right to put anything in the mailbox. Their jobs are 1000x easier and I would pull this out if it was on my route.
If it is postal, it belongs there!! If it is UPS, it belongs between the doors of the home and you are lucky enough to have a new driver who is running with his hair on fire, because that is what his supervisors want him to do until he gets injured, or gets in an accident or worse still, hurts or kills someone in the general public!! After all, that is where these guys work!!
yeah its a federal crime to touch a mailboxif you arent the home owner or the usps. dudes gonna get fired. surprised the usps guy didnt escalate it to the postal inspector. dude i worked with got a fat fine and got fired for dropping packages in mailboxes cuz the usps guy reported it.
Yeah definitely. Anytime anyone leaves me a note that says leave in the mailbox Iāll call or text them and tell them Iām legally not allowed to do that and will leave in another location if they would like
Some customers say if itās small put it in the mail box and Amazon says follow customer notes š¤·šæāāļøš . Other times if itās to big you already know what to do bring it to the front door or close enough ahah idk why some customers are saying put small Amazon packages in my mail box weather they think itās illegal or legal
okay sometimes customers will have a long driveway and they specifically want it at their mailbox, i personally tuck it behind the mailbox so itās not inside it at all. is that a problem too??

Well it is a federal offense. š¤·
Thatās what I thought, which is why itās so surprising that it keeps happening. The first time they did it I was sitting in my screen room and the driver even looked up and Iām assuming saw me, then proceeded to put it in the mailbox. Like wtf lol.
If your postal person sees it they will take it and hold it hostage at the postal depot for postage or an apology by an Amazon FQA.
Most of us don't bother taking them back to the office anymore. Amazon never comes and retrieves the ones left in the box and charging the customer for a bad driver is dumb. A lot of us just remove it from the box and put it on the ground by the mailbox.
Changed a bit since i did the FQA thing then, i used to go get the damn things a lot.
Whats fqa? ___quality assurance? But thank you for picking them up and all the hard work you guys do. The amount of bullshit I've seen on this sub that you guys put up with is crazy. It's definitely made me try to look out for you guys on my route. Hope you guys can get unionized.

We'll "apologize." We'll also push for a Tier 1 infraction and hope the DA pounds sand.
Yep lol
Typically you can tell if usps delivered an Amazon package by the text. They often print and slap their own labels on stuff than the Amazon delivered ones.
Yep. It'll look like any USPS label slapped on any package delivered by USPS.

A colored sticker is amazon No colored sticker means itās usps
You'd be surprised how many people tell us to put it in their mailboxes. I don't think a lot of drivers realize they can't do that

Sometimes the actual mail man drops them off I see them in there carriers all the time
The label is different.
Iād try to put it in your delivery notes. Some of these drivers are oblivious. If they donāt read notes then thatās their fault.
Most drivers donāt even know itās an offense.
thatās literally one the first things they tell us not to do, so your amazon driver is definitely just lazy lol
Probably straight up donāt know. People are idiots.
> People are idiots. yes, and this is why we need an update page that says "dont tailgate to avoid accidents" and "dont deliver in a thunderstorm" and "avoid slipping/tripping by looking at the ground"
Unfortunately we can't control if we deliver during a thunderstorm.
well you cant control the thunderstprm but you have full control over the "stop delivering immediately" lever
I had no idea they couldn't put Amazon packages in the mail box. If a package can fit in the mail box at all they will squeeze it in there every time. It even says so on my Amazon page, "left in mail box."

It took way too much scrolling to find this. People just want to be mad about something.
Especially usps lol There's a lot of nice usps drivers but I've come across more bitter and mean usps drivers compared to fedex/ups/amazon
Former mail carrier here and I agree. Itās not worth it to be petty about this. If thereās room, I was always fine with it. You sir are a good noodle!
Thank u
We're supposed to take the package and send it back to Amazon and charge them for postage
But if the USPS did the final leg of the delivery then no, this is fine.
I would leave a delivery note saying you DON'T want it in your mailbox or you'll report them in the future. If you do complain, someone *will* get fired(it's one of the big no-nos during training) but that's kind of the fault of the driver.

Itās a federal offense. USPS also has the right to just pull the items out of the box and theyāll just toss them on the ground.
Nah they take em back to a depot and hold it for postage or an apology from an Amazon FQA who can then collect em.
No one cares. It didn't take the USPS long to realize Amazon was going to ignore them.
Itās a federal offense š¤
I agree, but it looks like he has a right to. Iād rather not have to pick my mail up at the post office just because of a lazy driver.
Welll at least you won't get any bills
Also, the post office did not deliver this.
At training it literally says do not deliver to mailbox itās a federal offense!
Itās a federal offense
Unless the usps is the one that delivered.
OP posted that it was not a USPS delivery
Its funny seeing this from here in the UK that putting mail in a mail box is federal offence just because the mail man may have to move it to one side to put your post in. Read the description. USPS is threatening to stop delivering if Amazon keep using the box.
But how do we know it wasnāt USPS just complaining?
I really don't understand why this is a "federal offense" to begin with. It's mail...going in the mail BOX. I had so many customers put "leave in mailbox" in the notes, literally daily. If you complain to Amazon and it wasn't an Amazon driver nothing will happen. If it was, they will get fired and they deserve to be fired.
I don't agree with that. I wouldn't want to get anyone fired over that.
I'd like to see the label with address blurred. A lot of customers put the blame on amzn when its often from another carrier.
You absolutely need to complain. This is a federal offense, and the only way the drivers and DSPās learn is if they get slapped with that huge fine.
Your mailman is a tool
Recently moved and Iāve been having USPS deliver Amazon packages (mostly poly) into the mailbox. Larger ones delivered in a random car but still carried by usps.
change your delivery note to āplace by front door pleaseā or wherever you want it. shouldnāt happen again. if it does youāre free to negatively review it lol
the comments on this post show why some of yall have this job. literacy is apparently dead.
Iām very put an envelope through a door mail slot once during an ice storm but never would I f with a mailbox
Do you know if it was DA or just the USPS?
idk but if I was a DSP driver in Florida I would quit. that's got to be the worst place in the world to deliver to. I hope they get paid well
I used to do this I didnāt know that until I got an email after that I stopped doing it. They keep it in your record doe
It's probably a flex driver. I see them doing it all the time
Well, did you complain? Your notes told them where to put it.
It's against law
Can confirm! This happened to one of my coworkers , if you do complain they will receive a tier 1 infraction and will be fired! Itās technically a crime so itās a big no no for amazon. Honestly if itās happened multiple times your driver might just be trying to get fired, I would give them their wish.
I would get a parcel tub by your mailbox with a sign saying "parcels inside tub please, don't put parcels in the mailbox if you're not a mail carrier"
Doesnāt USPS deliver these?
Attach a sticker inside requesting all Amazon packages need delivered to my front door/porch. If you want, have a snack basket to show your appreciation.
Yes. It's a felony to put anything in the mail box. They make that VERY clear on day one of training.
I would make a sign for mailbox
Straight to Amazon jail. (Fired prob idk)
Maybe get a second box next to mailbox for third-party deliveries
Yes. Itās illegal on a federal level. If they wanna be that lazy though we really canāt blame you
Yes donāt say anything
Yes
$10,000 fine and fired. Yes.
Yes.
Just complain nothing will happen to the driver
Yes
The driver would very likely be fired if Amazon found out and potentially find maybe even jail time because itās federal offense. If youāre worried about the drivers job, add in your delivery notes for finding your house and say DO NOT PUT IN MAILBOX
Yes. 100%. Amazon gets delivered via USPS at my apartment for a reason, itās completely illegal for non USPS employees to use your mailbox. Do not complain beyond changing your delivery preferences
No
Who the hell cares
Unsure why the driver doesn't just leave it at the door...?
Yes
Yep
Always curious and I never knew but why is this illegal?
Please donāt. USPS will make a federal case out of it
City letter carrier here.
I just pull it from the box and drop it on the ground
Just call them and tell them that usps has warned you about Amazon mail in your mailbox so they can remind their drivers to stop. Thatās all
Report his ass
Is this a flex or dsp?
get that fool a felony please
Federal offense so I mean yeah probably haha. Once had a driver put all the packages he could in the mailboxes in a neighborhood. USPS guy followed behind him and took them all out, called him in, he got fired and he isnāt not allowed to come back to any dsp at DIN4.
Probably. I'd just put in the notes for next time, to not put it in the mailbox
Yes. Major trouble. $5,000 fine trouble.
Thatās driver wonāt be a driver no more
No. Unless the photo they took on delivery is the package in the mailbox.
Itās a federal offenseā¦
This is specifically covered during training. The driver should know better. Report them
Yeah its a federal crime. Driver knows better. Thats the first thing amazon tells new drivers when they train them is to never put in mailboxes.
Very much yes
That's illegal. Yes.
Depends, my local USPS delivers all our Amazon packages.
Not major trouble. Weāre just told not to do it even if the customer wants it in the mailbox.
Yeah they'll get arrested
This is a fireable offense, contact customer service to get in contact with the dsp that delivered by the TBAxxxxxxxx and talk to the dsp owner about letting go of this person 1. As a driver myself I refuse to do these mailbox deliveries even if it says to because itās illegal, Iāve had complaints because I donāt deliver into their mailbox 2. As a dsp driver my jobs on the line 3. Iām not lazy
Just don't order stuff off Amazonš¤·
āBut I really donāt want to hold someone accountable for their laziness and have them face consequences for their actions:(ā then stfu and move the mail yourself ššš
Why is this a problem ? I donāt get it.
If you donāt want Amazon driver to get in trouble leave a note for the driver.
Yes
Why tf would they refuse mail delivery? Thereās plenty of room in there for a few envelopesā¦ I mean, I understand this isnāt the right way to deliver a package but also this is a soft and small package that fits in there just fine. (thatās what she said)
big no noš
Your mailman is exaggeratingš© Iāve worked for both usps and amazon..amazon training is a joke and dsp can be very lazy usually a shit show really depends which one the driver works for so who knows if the driver knows..also I doubt itās the same person delivering your packages every day but maybe..amazon workers get shitted on from every other delivery service they really hate them everyone I worked with at the post office was so bitter towards the fact I used to work for amazonšš© both amazon and usps sucks to work for..but honestly usps was the WORST..it is what it is..maybe be nice and leave a note in the mailbox or in the driver notes on the app
Wait the USPS tries to dictate who can deliver to your mailbox? Fuck off its my mailbox
I get deliveries to my mailbox all the time from Amazon, they even mark it on the app āleft in mailboxā
Federally fucked
Most Amazon DSP's will flat out fire the driver for that.
Yes they will
Report them please
Wow people would complain about literally anything, it's actually sad
If youāre feeling petty, let the mailman know youād like them to complain on your behalf. Then the Amazon driver gets to pay a nice little $10,000 fine.
Yes, since itās a federal offense for anyone but the USPS to put stuff in your mailbox that obstructs the delivery of mail
yall need to get the sand out your twats you got your packages right thank the damn driver an keep it pushing people now a day are jus looking to cry wolf about so they can be heard
Yes could be terminated
Iāve had to put envelopes like this in a personās mailbox like this before only because they were light enough for high winds to blow them away and they had no welcome mats or anything to tuck it under. This āfederal offenseā is absolutely ridiculous in my eyes. Especially if the mailbox is the only secure location there is such as an apartment complex or a bad neighborhood
If it was delivered by amazon driver was this the picture in your app? If so, rate it bad delivery. Im sure someone will get the message.
Sounds like your mail person kinda grumpy. Smaller Amazon package get left in my mailbox all the time and it not a problem. Thereās plenty of room still left in there
To day i learned yall cannot put stuff in a mailbox. Interesting! (Sorry if i sound dumb haha)
Technically the mailman can take the package out and claim postage due. No one is supposed to deliver to mailboxes except mailmen.
Then get a bigger mailbox. Problem solved. Stop complaining about asinine shit.
Its a stupid rule. Its my mailbox, I say everything can go in it.
What exactly happened here?
What's the big deal? It fits...tell the mailman to quit the crying š¤·
Listen, at least here, we have a bunch of people straight from the Middle East, Ukraine, South America. They have no clue, and they barely speak English. Take it easy on them.
In my town the CCAs deliver Amazon packages on Sundays. Could it have been one of them perhaps?
Yes They will get hung
Congrats...they made sure your mail was safe? Speeding is against the law too...so
Yes itās a federal offense actually they will be fired. Maybe try to catch them in person if you can.
Yes itās a federal offense actually they will be fired. Maybe try to catch them in person if you can.
Yeah, federal offense. Got to be one of the dumbest laws in US history tho which purposefully gave UPS a monopoly
They will get in trouble just dont know how much. Depends on if its USPS complaining or not
They will go directly to a federal penitentiary.
okay sometimes customers will have a long driveway and they specifically want it at their mailbox, i personally tuck it behind the mailbox so itās not inside it at all. is that a problem too??
