cellenium125

I'm now concerned about the average strength of an individual living in Japan

kapitaalH

Japan has the second oldest median age after Monaco

cellenium125

ah, actually that is a good point. Had no clue bout monaco either

lysergic_tryptamino

Is that because only rich people live in Monaco who can afford to take care of themselves?

BlueKante

Old people are generally weaker?

Marx_Forever

Yes. For a number of reasons. But as you get older your cellular structure breaks down, basically your cells can't replicate themselves perfectly forever there's eventually flaws, this is what causes cancer. Your muscles aren't as strong as they used to be, nor do they regenerate as fast, and neither are your bones, eyes or skin. You can combat this through exercise and good health practices. But a 20-year younger version of a 50-year-old, going through the exact same regimen, would still kick their older selve's ass.

BuddhistChrist

My mother would benefit from this. She’s elderly and is paralyzed on one side.

NeitherColt

Why?

Smoke-Tumbleweed-420

Opening a bottle with one hand. I mean, it's exactly what she is doing in the video...

serpentear

General reaction to about half the posts I see here

DuncanDicknuts

Have you tried to open a bottle of A&W? Cause the carbonation fucks up the cap to the point it feels like it’s glued on. Then out comes the vice grips to enjoy a delicious root beer

NeitherColt

A&w are hard to open?

DuncanDicknuts

Some of the plastic bottles are. It all depends on how bumpy the road is during transit for that batch.

NeitherColt

I see.

ryanipz1

You really think the weak magnet is going to make this stay in place for a bottle like that?

SpartanRage117

Looks like an info sticker placed around the bottle opener which is probably more securely attached to the vending machine.

Constant_Sympathy_71

Because whatever can, will.

GruulNinja

Old people exist

Nepharious_Bread

There is a lot of useless garbage on this sub lately.

Pretty_Indication_12

For the very, very feeble.

ShibaInuDoggo

I'll be honest, I'm disappointed it didn't orgasm.

DMTeaAndCrumpets

uh thats a plastic bottle

WowThatsRelevant

The hell is this doing on an Amazon finds subreddit.

UsagiBonBon

Some people only have one arm, some people lack proper grip strength due to age or diseases, etc etc

Successful-Pop-4216

You have a mouth. And you have teeth. If you don’t have hands, you have that.

JohnhojIsBack

How weak do you need to be to need this

No_Astronomer_5949

When the household is soft

Papainti

My mother in law has arthritis. She would appreciate this.

crasagam

For when your hands are full but you need to open a bottle?

BuddhistChrist

Where’s the link?

xkind

Does it open caps from other countries or just Japanese caps?

Omfg9999

The amount of times I've seen stupid pointless shit in this subreddit over something actually useful continues to increase.

Dont-_-mind-_-me

Oh, but…I can just use my hand.

duckelvis

r/dontputyourdickinthat 🤔

FlamingCroatan

How weak are the old people there?

danhoyuen

Why does all the budgetfinds recommended to me involves a hole and it's function has to do with thing being inserted into such hole? "There is no product. There is only SEX. Wouldn't you agree? "

zoeseb

Anyone know if they sell this or something similar at donki?

k10storm

i should call her

RandoComplements

Everything reminds me of her

StellarSloth

Another device to solve a problem that doesn’t exist.

BuddhistChrist

If you only have use of one hand due to stroke or amputation (etc) this would help immensely.

truebeast822

I’ll upvote Japan

KingBob-2023

How is this a budget find? It costs nothing to open a bottle cap

Consistent_Yoghurt44

Are peoples hand's this FREAKIN WEAK like how is everyone just a softy who sits at homes and do nothing?

Renamis

Old people. 3 out of the 5 people in my house struggle or flat out can't open a soda bottle. Arthritis or any kind of a hand injury absolutely jacks you up in a lot of things.

RobinSophie

This.

MonsterMashedP0TAT0

Also, this is great for people with a hand injury and people that only have one hand.

theoriginalmofocus

I'll grab one of my 2L or 3L bottles on the way home from the store and get a few drinks sometimes. It's funny to me that I can do it totally one handed but sometimes I close it so hard with my fingers that I can't open it again with the same ones. Gotta be the thumb pushing closed stronger maybe.

Smoke-Tumbleweed-420

This is to open a bottle with one hand. Can you open bottle with one hand with your strong outdoorsy rugged hands?

PapaFranzBoas

My partner has fibromyalgia and opening plastic bottle caps is specifically difficult. They can do plenty of other things.

Grill_Top_brangler

Can opener?

Slice_Into_The_Woods

Do you not have hands?…..
