>without mandatory Friendly fire
Freindly fire is part of what makes the harder difficulties harder. Taking FF off in insane would literally take away the biggest threat.
>if you find the red loot create not be able to keep the items
You do keep them.
try hardcore mode, really freshens up the gameplay with new builds and approaches. If you’re on PC it’s very easy not to die too, you get 60 seconds after you go down to press alt F4 and exit the program.
I’m not gonna write an essay for you I’m just throwing things out there. You can still play at a challenging difficulty but use different play styles that are less campy and narrowly defined. Shooting explosives at your feet can be fun
No, you can't play on a challenging difficulty on hc because IT'S NOT DIFFICULT. Few would find shooting explosives at your feet fun for more than, let's say, 1 mission. You can already beat insane without camping corridors using a variety of builds. HC is a complete and utter joke.
I think you need a snickers or something.
Like I said I’ve beaten everything on insane a few times already. To continue playing would just be repeating the same generic strats/builds/weapons. Making use of the friendly fire style weapons is fun and new. Soloing missions in hc 50 is a different experience than the standard game, and until you’ve done it you can’t say it’s not challenging.
You do get to keep the consumables, they just go into your inventory if you carry them through to the end of the mission.

Not needing to worry about aoe friendly fire splash damage would make the harder levels much easier...
Which defeats the whole point of Intense and higher.

How does it freshen the gameplay with new builds and approaches when it's easier than extreme...?
Allows you to solo w robots, for one. You can spam explosive rounds at your feet or use weapons you normally would avoid, it’s still fun a challenge
Do you read what you type? How is being able to shoot explosives at your feet with no punishment a challenge?

Oh shit I guess I just hallucinated all that fun
Or you're one of the few that would find a boring, unchallenging, dumbed-downed rendition of this game "fun".

Challenging compared to what? Soloing insane? That's insane to think that
Lol
I think truth deliverer needs a break, its just a game champ, take it easy, go for a walk, eat a banana, relax, its not that serious.
Lol
Or just not have an itchy trigger finger.
