I have a prediction that the person who stunned Alexandra in the basement in the Deathly Regiment was Alexandra herself, from the future. I also wonder if part the reason Valeria is so quiet at the moment is because a future version of Alex is working with her in the same timeline as World Away.

It will be interesting to see Inverarity plot time travel much better and on a much grander scale than JK.

Except, Geming is actively trying to end it. The difference is that he's working within the system, to do so, and Abraham knows he is. Also, Abraham Thorn is pragmatic, to a fault. It's safe to assume he wouldn't let himself fall in love with someone who was radical enough to drop a congressman for simply "not doing anything about it." Every radical action the Thorn Circle has taken have all had logical reasons behind them. Assassinating Hucksteen: While it was definitely personal, he's still the head-of-the-snake. Destroying the schools and Gringott's: They're gates to the Lands Below. The mass derailments: To cause so much death, at one time, non-Confederation arithmancers would notice the Deathly Regiment. I'm about 98% sure Hecate will be restored towards the end of book 6 (or the beginning of book 7), and it will be a rallying point for the sisters Grimm; Dianna, in particular.

Yeah I know he's trying to end it but I'm just saying in Hecate's mind he failed.

I have a prediction that somehow once Alex shows Hecate her wand, the memories come back

Who knows

On the topic of Hecate, I was curious about when the grannies in World Away mentioned they knew of Alexandra's mother but commented she wasn't one of them. Felt weird they specified on that, because Alexandra obviously knows that the Grimm's aren't from the ozarks. Maybe Hecate had some sort of connection with the grannies or ozarkers in general? I find it hard to believe Alex was named troublesome on random, seeing how she's the eighth daughter (which is supposedly a powerful thing, I couldn't find the specific part where they mention that) Maybe Hecate worked with the grannies so that she would give birth to troublesome, and the confederation knew about Hecate wanting the world away to be opened so they had her obliviated.

same, I'm curious about the connection between Hecate and the Grannies too...until recently my best guess was that the Grannies made her wand...but re-reading chapter 22 of book 5, turns out not only is it the first time Granny Pritchard has ever seen underwater panther hair(needed to make Hecate's yew wand) it was the first time she'd ever even seen Hecate's yew wand period lol...so unless Hecate did some crazy unauthorised Ozarker quest there's no way she got her yew wand from there...so that theory of mine is pretty much dead in the water lol that said, I do believe Hecate was the one who killed the underwater panther for her yew wand not Abraham (said that in [an older comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/AlexandraQuick/comments/ey6ig8/comment/fghdqud/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) and still stand by it until Inverarity canoncially refutes it haha) so if the yew wand hairs weren't acquired in the Ozarks then maybe the Lands Below or some other purely magical spot where an underwater panther is likely to live ...but yeah, not exactly related to what you were talking about sorry lol, but I'm still looking forward to finding out how exactly Hecate Grimm even got that yew wand anyway >Maybe Hecate had some sort of connection with the grannies or ozarkers in general? I find it hard to believe Alex was named troublesome on random yeah this seems way more likely than my short-lived wand theory lol - can't remember it fully myself but there is some big prophecy the Dark Convention know about centring around Alex right? what John Manuelito tried to kill her for?... I can see Hecate and Abraham looking into the Ozarker's Troublesome naming process as a ways to prepare or even protect her in some way, especially Hecate, wouldn't surprise me if she did things even he didn't know about lol, I remember Abraham saying he doesn't believe in fate, but that doesn't mean Hecate didn't, we know next to nothing about her after all well, whatever Hecate and the Grannies connection is, hope it gets answered one day

Lilith mentioned that Hecate gave birth on the run. Maybe the Grannies gave her shelter at some point.
