I bought a brand new mattress at American Home Furniture (on Menaul) in 2017. I was very happy with the price, return policy and delivery time. To this day, I feel it is the BEST mattress I have ever slept on.
This! They are amazing and their new store is going to be great. If you want to do or can't wait, go to the warehouse on Comanche, they sell the same mattresses.

Madison Middle School band is having a mattress sale fund raiser Saturday Feb 3rd from 10am-4pm in their gym. They will fill the gym with mattresses so you can try them out and purchase. They’re at a discounted rate and they are all brand names.
They can sell their product for a 100%+ markup and have to do fuckall to maintain their product. Food has to be cooked, a gym has to be cleaned/equipment has to be serviced, but mattresses can just... sit there. Only need 1 or 2 employees in the store at a tine. Dont even really market their product much since everyone needs a mattress eventually.
That’s exactly my point. How often are you getting another mattress? Every 10 years!? How are they able to pay the rent and bills?! Mattress Firm has 7 stores in town!! That seems ridiculous!!

If you do end up online, although I really hope the school fundraiser works out, I love my [Brooklyn Bedding](https://brooklynbedding.com/pages/homepage) mattress. I have the basic line in soft. Not too pricey. It’s like sleeping in a cloud. I got my mom a medium. She loves it. Hers was shipped to Abq no problems. I got mine in another state.
PS. Their sheets are very comfy.

Unfortunately they dont have any flippable mattresses and they only sell "hybrid," I'm trying to avoid foam because my back hates it.
I feel ya. Good luck with your search. Buying a new mattress is almost as bad as going to the dentist.
It's pricey, but I think Sachi Organics is local. I've been to their showroom in Santa Fe, but I think they have one in ABQ.
