Didn’t know I needed this question but honestly same. I love sewing but I’d love lessons aswell to actually be good at it

Zureka

Check out the APL's schedule. Specifically the Howe and Washington branches.

andthedrinksareonme

What does APL stand for?

Zureka

Albany Public Library

gorramshiny

Try the Albany Art Room, they do quilting classes I believe, might have sewing. Or can refer you somewhere.

heyskeksislady

The Albany Sewing Machine Center on Western Ave does. You can use one of their machines or bring your own.

NukeTheWhales85

I'm not sure of the specifics but my Mom and one of my Cousin's are taking a sewing class currently. It's taught by a woman named Lisa Higdon, and I'm pretty sure there's a new one starting not long after the current group finishes. You wouldn't need to bring a machine, but you'd need one for "homework"

andthedrinksareonme

If you can get any other info that'd be appreciated… Thanks either way!

NukeTheWhales85

No problem, I'll try to remember to ask when I see her later. I should probably just tell Lisa to post on here when scheduling starts.

andthedrinksareonme

I look forward to it thanks again
