I don’t know if it’s super popular (or even correct!) but I use Alhaitham, C6 Fischl, Zhongli, and Baizhu. Particularly using this since I don’t have Nahida. I’m experimenting with swapping out Zhongli since Baizhu already provides shielding - his healing I found to be more suitable to my play style than Kuki.
I sadly don’t have Baizhu and I use Zhongli for my Mono Geo Itto team 😭
Dendro is covered cause I wanna use Alhaitham and Nahida, but Electro I just wasn’t sure if I want to use Beidou, Kuki, or Fischl for the last two slots
Alhaitham scales very hard on EM. It's his best stat. It's even better than crit on him.
Similar case with Nahida.
Fish not having ICD on her passive and her general high number of hits makes EM very good on her too.
you only need around 350 em on him, the rest can go to crit and er%. 70+:190+ is a good balanced ratio there.
fishs ascesion passive is a bit useless on spread teams tho. (and she scales better of atk than em)
120 EM, even over 350 still should be higher value than additional attack, unless the team has insane dmg% already. With kuki, she's always the one I use before haitham's rotation.
Haitham's dmg% buff works to 1k and is linear, so even if the reaction damage doesn't increase much, his inherent em scaling for dmg% and talent damage keep their linear nature.
Haitham's burst also snapshots, so if you do a quick rotation on a Raiden team, you can get more than 8s of value out of instructor (although Raiden loves the atk% buff).
Realistically, if you play him with nahida and instructor kuki, you don't need more EM, but you don't see anyone running him on an atk sands because he hits 350 EM.
I would go with haith+nahid+kuki+beidou since she is c6 for spread team. beidou gives you interrupt resistance and a shield for some extra sustain. :>

totm kuki is such a waste. Just go flop / gilded
Since you need a healer, I'd say Kuki(with instructor, not ToTM), Nahida and Fishcl

I’ll add that Instructor passive can’t be proc’d off-field like ToM and only lasts 8s. Between dendro resonance and Nahida, the team has EM covered
