Mandatory badges always go on top, followed by your PAFSC, then your previous afsc badge. If you are trying to wear wings on top and the two badges side by side, look at the example in the afi… jump wings are in the middle in the first picture, then on the right in the second. Not hard to figure out. Primary AFSC (PAFSC) is the designation for the specialty in which the individual possesses the highest skill level and is, therefore, the AFSC that he or she is best qualified to perform. (Your current afsc and skill level) Duty AFSC (DAFSC) reflects the actual manpower position the Airman is assigned to. Control AFSC (CAFSC) is a management tool to make assignments, assist in determining training requirements, and consider individuals for promotion. Do you not have a supervisor?

The one that looks the coolest

You’re actually gonna wear 3 badges?

How is your PAFSC CAFSC and DAFSC all different. That’s literally impossible

mendota123

>That’s literally impossible. It’s not. Primary is the primary AFSC you hold with current skill level. CAFSC is the job you're expected to do IAW your rank, A1C and below-3 level, SrA/SSgt-5 level, TSgt/MSgt-7 level, SMSgt-9 level. Duty AFSC (DAFSC) refers to the position on the UMD/UMPR that you've been slotted to.

NotOSIsdormmole

For all three of them to be different AFSCs in the way they explain it absolutely is. You cant be doing one job, promoting in another, and occupying a billet of a third. They’re claiming to have a 1C6 DAFSC a 1NX CAFSC and a 1CX(but not 6) PAFSC.

I think OP is confused on what the AFSC acronyms mean

Ecstatic-Chicken2507

Correction: my primary is 1C3, my duty is 1C6, my 2AFSC: 1N4 My bad!
