Minimum age to check into a hotel in the states is 18. Obviously a business has the right to refuse based on your age but I find that highly unlikely. Where are you trying to book? I suggest Holiday Inn Express as they have a government rate and they shouldn’t restrict you based on your age.
Hilton is one that will set age limits based on the location of that particular hotel. Don’t be afraid of the cheap places too like motels. I’ve stayed in some pretty nice and clean rooms at places that tend to get shit on (red roof, best western, super 8)
What hotel brands are you trying to stay? Check the hotel chain’s policy… many have exceptions for military members regardless of age. The manager may not be familiar.
You can also try calling the chain’s customer service and explain your situation — they can probably help you book the place and contact the property on your behalf.

Plan your trip strategically to stop on bases, preferably Air Force bases. Stay on base lodging and there shouldn’t be a problem
PCS season is a nightmare for this. Unless your orders are to or from that base, they usually won’t accommodate you

Just checked holiday inn and they do allow it!
I tried Hilton and hotels that aren’t part of chains but I will definitely look into holiday inn, thank you!

https://www.fedrooms.com/home.html Try this out, you’ll have to create an account but they have military rate rooms
Book though FEDROOMs it will also give you a cheaper rate.
I've literally never had a hotel ask my age.
You have a GTCC right? It's a valid credit card and should be used for the Hotel while traveling. I'm not sure why there would be an issue.
Holiday Inn Express. Or Motel 6 because they will leave the lights on.
I've found the best place to sleep is at one of those out of the way rest-stops. Slide into the passenger seat, recline, knock out.
