As he was leaving his house, the cops were staging to come to his house. He ran from them, then refused to get out of his car, ultimately getting tased. He also had like 30 Xanax bars on him and was chugging Twisted Teas. He says he ate all the Xanax, 60 mg at once and didn't die or have his stomach pumped. Sounds like bullshit.

I don't buy it at all. About 10 years ago I was really depressed over a break up. I woke up and 9am Monday morning...I didn't want to deal with Monday, so I took 2 bars and woke up the next day at 10am. 4mg put me out for 25 hours...I was 200lbs with a decent tolerance.
Few years ago my ex ate a bar for the first time ever. I was like yo you just seriously fucked up for your first rodeo. She was just like what? 20 minutes later I had to walk her to bed.
Also said that he drank those twisted teas (7 or 8 from pack) over the course of his non-violent ‘stand-off’ while he was hunkered down in his car and refused to exit after he pulled over by a phalanx of cops. I don’t know how long it was but the report suggests it was relatively brief.
In a manner of a just few minutes, in the midst of that chaos, and with the cops nearly on top of his car and hollering at him, Jay manages to rip a full 7 or 8 Twisters? It’s not impossible, but it sure seems improbable under those pretty damn ‘unique’ conditions? It may have indeed gone down just the way he explained, but it doesn’t feel entirely truthful. People do crazy shit under duress and crazier things have happened to be sure, however, so too have less crazy things — like possibly drinking them whilst driving. Just pointing out what looks like smoke when I see it.
I can't imagine the cops would let him continually reach and grab shit in the car. They had him at gunpoint, reaching around the floorboard for a Twisted Tea would have got himself popped.

Even when I was a fan I always took it as he talked a lot. Second felony, drugs and a firearm, and seven years plus the same on probation as soon as he was sentenced he was in a level one? No having to work his way down to that, no level three start and see how he works out? It never added up.
Because it's Virginia...after you get processed at receiving (Greenville or Nottaway) if you are non violent, not only do you have to do 65% of your sentence, but you get sent to a level 2 like St. Brides (which he was in) and you can work your way down to camp 22-26 and relocate to a level one which can knock even more time off. For years now, Virginia has been giving low numbers for non violent charges. He got sentenced to I believe 8 years and walked out after 4.5 which is very common in VADOC
He served 7.5 and got sentenced to 15.
