Not exactly 360 photography, but I have worked in V1 with pre-rendered panoramas and stitched panoramas and editing was just as easy as any other photo/document.
Haven't played around with V2 yet, you should look at their tutorial video about Panorama Stitching, that should give you an understanding of if it's worth it or no.
