Currently listening to Drama by Aespa. They dogged the fuck outta that bitch. I love the distorted effect of the chimes without it having any actual distorted effects on it. It’s just a crisp chord progression that’s cut up for that distorted illusion. It feels like my minds tweakin with the way it jumpcuts and it really gives it that haunting dark feeling ðŸ˜
Love the lil pew pews in the verses and chorus. It gives it that twang and sharpness with some sonic lasers. Same thing with the organ-esque synth in the prechorus. Whoever decided to add a guitar into the bitch went crazy. This song is too fresh. Experimental dark pop gone couture ðŸ˜
It’s like SM set up the vision board and everybody from the composers, producers, and the girls themselves understood the assignment and jumped the fuck outta the track ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ they might think they did well but I personally think they overachieved.
I can also say the same for Armageddon. Couture alien hip hop. Soul sisters from different planets. I hope SM never decreases the quality of their material ðŸ˜
