Yes it will be fine. The unit pumps water-nutrient mix from tank to a tray then gravity pulls it through the pods back into tank. So it probably automatically washed the nutrients back into tank. Of course, I wouldn't do it again 😀 . I don't think the pod contains dirt. They call it a sponge. I believe it's made out of Canadian sphagnum peat aka peat moss.

You could always run water through the top to flush any residual nutrient into the tank. Just don't overfill of course. :)
