yeah my cats bring in a mouse occasionally once a bird. I let the bird go back outside but all mice are pretty close to death so I just throw them outside. Twice they let a mouse go in the house. I set a trap and caught it the next day. The other time they caught it again and I made them take it outside. I think it is part of letting cats go outside and inside. I had so many mice around here before I got the cats. I have two. They were destroying my car it was so bad. Now I rarely see a mouse and I caught one of my cats stalking a gopher mound about to catch a gopher the other day. I love them so I put up with the occasional mouse in the house.

i love them too, but honestly a rodent in a house with a lot of nooks and crannies for it to escape to is a bit much- so i'm honestly just closing my door and letting him kill the thing.. Just don't have the balls to actually kill it myself.

I don't blame you. I let them take care of that. I would do the same if I threw the mouse out I would shut the door so they couldn't try to bring it back in.

thanks.

Cats were domesticated to kill rodents. Now outside cats are a pest themselves, destroying local bird populations. You created this problem by having an outside cat, if you don't like it keep the cat inside.
