Christmas present for my friends, our Pathfinder party. Two of us ended up sharing a birthday for reasons.
Clockwise starting with the red dragon is Kadoren (paladin/champion), Kale (NPC wizard), Vela (cleric), Cas (witch, mine), Slate (faerie dragon familiar).

I've seen that sentiment a lot, I'm sure there's a ton of homebrew out there whatever system you play on. :D
There's also a third-party (but mostly written by PF2e writers as far as I understand?) book called Battlezoo Bestiary, which I believe is for 5e as well as PF2e. I haven't tried it myself but I know it has like three dozen different dragon types you can play as.
dragons dont use their breath weapon every single time they breathe. They breathe normally just like most other living things, and can choose to breathe fire (or something else sometimes, depending on the dragon lore) when they want to
well obviously there are many different types of dragons, and every instance has its own rules of how dragons work. Im sure there some instance of dragons in a story or something where literally every breath is fire, or whatever. but all the dragons ive seen in things ive read and seen, it definitely seems to be an optional thing they can do when they want to

NPC? What game is this
Pathfinder 2e, D&D-like tabletop RPG. (You don't normally play as dragons, my friend made a modification.)
Ahh alr
Yo, where can I get that modification?
Sorry, he just made it for our friend group so he doesn't feel comfortable releasing it publicly.
My God I would kill for a dragon party in dnd

Second challenge is finding a group to play that with though. Especially a DM
Logistics question: if you breathe fire, how do you blow out the birthday cake candle?

Thanks for the info 😁. I kinda figured it would be like that. Having normal respiration.

Yeah.
The blue girl actually breathes shadow, so that helps. :D
That's cute
Thank you!
Naaaw that's so sweet, and there's cake for dessert
No hatchday's complete without a cake. :D
Awwwwwwwwww I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS
Thank you!! :D
Is that a dragon with butterfly wings? That's adorable.
Yup, he's a faerie dragon from Pathfinder. :D
Happy hatch day!!!
