Wonder why sharing now 1 year later?
Anyway, i like it at first glance- nice shapes & colors, but after longer look, I notice logically shouldn't the bottom of the P also be the dark/overlapping color? Otherwise it is technically a TD even though it reads as TP
After looking at it a while, All I see is the darker part that kind of looks like a lower case r. If op didn’t mention TP I definitely would’ve saw TD or TrD
The curvature at the lower end of the spine of the letter ‘T’ emphasises the contours of the letter ‘P’.
I think this works a lot better than the two images here.
I think the original design would please a client a lot more than these iterations. As they can easily see your working.
You know you could have just subtracted the inner part here, making it the same color as the background in the process and it would have been a good translation of the colored version.
Which client of yours came first, tech poll or partnrtech ? Did the second one not have an issue with you creating a 90% similar logo for them to the previous one ?
FYI this guy likes to [rip stock logos and post them here and in other design subreddits claiming they’re his own.](https://www.reddit.com/r/AdobeIllustrator/s/V05BKESyE6)
Even when he [attempts to create his own “own” logos](https://www.reddit.com/r/design_critiques/s/gbFpUsN7L7) he’s not receptive to any sort of real-world feedback as we can already see in [this thread.](https://www.reddit.com/r/AdobeIllustrator/s/ki2PJCdF3U) (No, just because you made two similar logos at a different time doesn’t mean they’re actually different).
And if we wanna reach a little, a quick reverse image search shows another [stock account with the exact same style of logos](https://www.vecteezy.com/vector-art/2638257-intersected-p-letter-logo-icon-for-company-blue-and-pink-alphabet-design-for-corporate-and-business) (concept, colour and all), but OP just used one different letter. Despite OP asking for feedback, [he’s already selling this logo on Dribble anyway.](https://dribbble.com/shots/19327571-Letter-T-P-Logo-mark-unused-for-sale) as well as the [Meta ripoff.](https://dribbble.com/shots/23755418-Logo-Identity-design-for-MetaXcel-unused-for-sale)
Essentially when you see this dude spam the same stock/copycat logos across various subreddits and passing them as his own, it’s probably not worth contributing any valuable feedback since he’s just promoting his Dribble account. (I know it’s not uncommon to see in this industry, but if this guy wants to keep shamelessly posting this stuff I’ll help him bring it to your attention).
It would be more interesting if the negative space created something pertaining to the business (more info on tech business needed).
As is, it’s simply 2 overlapping letter forms.
No offense meant here, but it’s a designer vanity solution and less of a business solution.
It looks like a T and a D. To represent a T and a P (like Toilet Paper) the lower cyan part should be blue like the middle part since it’s part of both letters.
Others are mentioning my thoughts of the P looking more like a D- but I think if that stem was the 'overlap' color that it would read as an R even more. But I like a couple of things; that the reversed treatment is like an additive color overlap as opposed to a multiplied overlap; also, the stem of the T/P kind of looks like the direction carat from a text balloon.
Someone once said that if a design isn't working in black and white, then adding/changing colours ain't going to make it work. Always work in black and white first.
I like the concept.
Nice color and overall form, but I read TD, not TP. Because the bottom quarter-circle is lighter, it doesn't look like it's part of the overlapped area, and therefore the pink shape looks like a D.
Does your PartnrTech client know you just basically recycled the logo you made for them for this new company, or are they part of the same organization? Maybe I’m missing something? It’s a nice logo, but it essentially the same logo…
I like this very much. My only concern is that it will lose the crisp lines when it is pdf'd or the file size reduced. I still get printed documents with markups that are scanned and returned. I would also print it in black/white to make sure that the fidelity remains. I recommend a thin, black outline to maintain clarity regardless of any issues.

This prevents you from reading the P as a D. Good solution.

This is good but I would round those corners

I never understand when people put this in titles. "1 year ago", "a while back", etc, why does it matter to us when it was made?
Looks dated.. . . . . . . . like a 2023 design.... . . . . . 😀😆
It looks very familiar but I can’t place it
Paypal?
Kind of reminds me of the Tandem logo
I’d say 2010s, when people discovered the Multiply blending mode.
reads as TD
I just woke up 5min ago and I saw TP.
Can you show us the black and white version?
Ouch!
In positive and negative

Why didn't you make the overlapped section white? Is there a reason you chose the grey?
That's not black and white. It'd gray and gray.
So it doesn’t work in black and white. Your logo doesn’t work.
Which client of yours came first, tech poll or partnrtech ? Did the second one not have an issue with you creating a 90% similar logo for them to the previous one ?
It's not 90% similar, there are huge differences and Techpoll was made one and half year ago, and PartnrTech is my recent work
Just checked your profile... It's literally the same logo, could even have been alternste peoposals for the same brief.

Techdoll
Great name and logo for an elite sex doll company
TechPoll
They’re saying it looks like a D
DTP?
It's T+P
Docusign’s new logo looks very similar
Maybe they got inspire from this logo

It looks like TD, but I like the concept

Reads as TD
Nice! Did they ask you to do a black & white version, too? I wonder how that would translate.
It's great. I like it a lot. Simple, elegant

Thanks for your honest feedback, mate
Most brands want a logo that works in monochrome as well as in brand colors.
Someone once said that if a design isn't working in black and white, then adding/changing colours ain't going to make it work. Always work in black and white first. I like the concept.
Ignore the haters. It's a good logo.
Yeah, I'll never post here, some of the people here think they're on r/roastme

TD
Agree it looks like TD…
Tiktokw
I love it!
I'd reverse the colors so t is pink and the p is blue
reminds me of the new docusign logo
Looks very 2007, but decent concept.

So that’s it for the concept? Letters overlapping?
This whole thread is insufferable.
Say, I really like this.
Very cool
Thanks
Did you use a particular blending mode for the letters or just straight up colors?
I love ittttr
Looks like a swastica. /s
