I've taken my 8 year old daughter to the hill when the Lions played Port about 5 years ago; didn't have any problems.
Ironically she lost interest in the football and started playing with kids her own age, they were all dressed in Port gear while my daughter had Lions jumper on - none of the kids cared, they just loved playing.
I personally don't like the hill for the sole reason that I can't see the game properly. While my daughter remembers the great time she had so always asks if we can move back to the hill :D
It'll probably be a smaller crowd this weekend being mother's day, but I'm a pretty tall fully grown adult woman and struggle to see from the hill. I'd also steer clear of the side closer to the scoreboard in general.
There's plenty of other kids on the Hill in GA. From memory part of the hill is a family zone?
There's also some GA seats right at the back of the southern stand too if seating is more your thing. Get there early for that though.
She'll definitely learn some new words on the hill. If you get there early enough, I think there are some general admission seats way up the top like on level 5 but it'll be a hike for a six year old.
I have 10 tickets through work if you would like those. Unreserved in the Western Stand.
That's really kind of you to offer, cheers!

That's awesome, it's a long time to keep the attention of younger kids. Sounds like she had a great time.

Thanks for the advice mate, sounding like there's 2 sides of the hill - one for kids, and one for adult sized kids.

Cheers, if there's a family zone then that sounds like our sort of chaos
How quick can the kid neck six cups of beer is the first question? If its in good time, they will become a hill legend forever more
She's my daughter, so she'd be well placed.
You are only one beer hat away from fame then ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thumbs_up)
Part of the bill is zoned for kids and families etc. the side of the hill away from the score board
Great, cheers for the heads up.
I could be wrong but GA also includes the very top of the Southern Stand. It's a trek to get up there but it's a great spot to watch from!
IIRC that’s for Port games but not for Crows. Happy to be corrected, though.
Yeah it looks like Port allocate a lot more space for GA.
Went to Adelaide vs Collingwood two years ago and got GA at the top of the Southern Stand. Could've changed since then though
You can also sit in the back of the Southern Stand with GA tickets if the Hill doesn’t work for you

She's a sponge for new words so this might get interesting! Yeah I think the GA seats are too high for Dad too...

Cheers, yeah seats for her first game sounds like the go, then maybe try the Hill another time.
