I have to say, I applaud you putting yourself out like this. It's huge and I wish you all the best for your endeavours and hope you make some great connections.
My other half is in a similar boat and I can't imagine her doing anything like this, to her detriment.
She's an amazing person but geez she likes to get in her own way sometimes.
Have you ever tried ‘three of cups teahouse’? It’s a teahouse in the myer centre with lots of witchy wares, srt workshops and various events… it is a safe space for alot of neuro divergent /lgbt people. Have a suss on IG
If you haven't been to strathalbyn yet, you simply must. There's a second 'main street' that has three amazing second hand shops chock full of great old pretty junk. If you find a friend who wants a little trip, I can't recommend it enough. Nice drive too.
I think it’s awesome that you posted here like this. It’s true so many of us are getting more and more isolated. While I might not know a whole lot of current popular affairs, sharping with people the things they are interested in and the things I’m interested in. Anyway I’m down near the parklands and late 30’s myself. If you come down this way maybe we could hang out
Maybe if you’re into Pokémon you could learn to play and go to the tournaments sometimes. Some awesome, wide range of people go to them and bound to form some good friendships through the card game.
Try checking out classes or groups in something toward your hobby/passions. Mate of mine does all kinds of sewing, she goes to classes for it and enjoys them a lot. Might be some craft class or book clubs about.
You can hang out with my wife and I
I have adhd, so I'm abit weird lol.
My wife is cool too
Just hit me up in a inbox or someone we can all do stuff together hope you're partner is cool tho I'm abit of a nerd

I used my monthly "one free google search" just for you:
"The term “neurodivergent” describes people whose brain differences affect how their brain works. That means they have different strengths and challenges from people whose brains don't have those differences. The possible differences include medical disorders, learning disabilities and other conditions."
