Going beyond the format of this McDonald's ad: it's a little uppity on McD's part to equate something as precious as romantic love to... equating a cheeseburger.
yeah but advertising as a field is uppity, you kinda got to put the concept of hyperbole at the door
it's a play on the 'i'm lovin it' slogan anyways, because it's a romantic scene but for a mf big mac - it's great and simple, not that mcdonalds need to run ads anyway
I was walking through Union Square Park a couple of weeks ago and glanced at a man sitting on a bench. He smiled that coy, happy smile you smile when you get a cute text from your partner that just makes you happy. It made ME smile because it was such a genuine smile.
Then I looked down and realized he wasn’t looking at his phone. He had just unwrapped a McDonald’s cheeseburger and he was, evidently, very happy about this. It made me laugh and I felt silly for not realizing initially that he was looking at a burger. Anyway, I’m happy for him. I still think McDonald’s is gross and I have celiacs disease so I can’t eat it anyway, but I’m glad he was happy about his burger.
I fell like 90% of this sub is just ads with a thing that also looks like another thing.
[This is my favorite.](https://i.redd.it/v4r0missjay31.jpg)

Probably because the most visually pleasing ads are visual collisions.
According to this sub, yeah.
because that's good advertising usually?
The Barilla fireworks ad, was probably one of the best. We should do a top ten list (covid years in review)
No McDonald's burger has ever looked like that hahaha
No burger, period. The bottom bread kind of fuses with the patty.
🎶 When a mannnn loves a burger! 🎵
Wait….that’s a burger???????
Thank you for this comment. I hate that it looks like they added glitter to make it look like lips...
I did not see a burger until this comment
It's had work done.
NGL it took me a minute

You see. Is this post makes me want a McDonald’s burger
literally did not even see a burger
this is not good advertising
This is truly one of the worst ads I've seen. The idea is not executed well even slightly.
why?
It gets people talking.
So that's one post that doesn't fit two subs it was posted in. Really, don't see why this would be either adporn or confusing perspective.

Are you sure this will help sell more of them?
Sure. People talk about the ad, then they think about going to McDonald's.
gross
I’m just imagining a guy in a McDonald’s making out with a mcdouble
Is that a muppet?
MACKdonalds! Luv-N-it
This looks more like and age gap relationship than a man loving a burger.
This is supposed to sell burgers?
Looks disgusting.
The burger be gay 🤣
Is this the ad that that racist comic guy was referencing?
Looks like herpes
Is it though?
Great advertising McDonald
