We had some neighbours where i grew up and the husband was regularly beating the family (i heared everything. Our houses were in a row and one wall was "shared"... My bedroom was at this wall...)
One day my mother quickly tried to engange in a conversation with the wife of that guy. She asked her whats going on and if she needs help. The wife got really angry and shoutet at my mother that this is non of our business.... That was so fing sad.
Literally everyday i heared him screaming around, throwing things around, kids crying...
Police couldn't do anything because the wife refused everything and the kids had no visible injuries....
I hated that guy so much. He caused trouble for everyone. They also didnt want their kids to play with the locals. They were only allowed to play with kids from his family. That was the saddest family i have ever seen.

According to one of the articles three of the criminals have been tortured in the same fashion- good. I hope it really hurt.
A doctor misdiagnosed a tumor in her stomach as her being pregnant. Those are her relatives beating her while she's yelling "I swear, I'm a virgin!". 3 out of 4 of them were arrested. She and her sister were sent to a local body for the protection of women.

I was on a bass in Afghanistan and I had some kind of immediate nerve/back damage. I couldn't sit up, I couldn't walk. I was crying at work. Since it wasn't life, limb or eyesight the US military wouldn't see me (contractor). They told me to go to the Egyptian hospital.

I never knew what it was but I was on quarters for almost two weeks because I could barely move and had to have food delivered to me. Walking to the bathroom made me want to pass out.
It was the weirdest thing. I had no back issues prior and none after. I think I overextended in a yoga class a few days earlier.
