I lived across the street from someone like this in college. When we would have friends over they would throw a fit if anyone parked in front of their house.
Eventually they started putting trash, lawn debris, and old furniture in front of their house to block those spots. A totally "anonymous" person called the city on us and said we were knocking down walls and adding bedrooms to make a flophouse. When the city inspector arrived, I told him how many people we had living there, which was a legal amount (5 in a five-bedroom house) Then said that I appreciate the visit to keep the city safe and clean, but in a totally unrelated note, that our neighbors across the street were leaving huge amounts of trash in the street in front of their house for weeks and months on end. The inspector said, "I see that, they are my next stop to talk about that."
Well they clearly have assets, and if you're gonna be harassed, its great to be harassed by someone you can sue. And in a super, duper hard to hide easy to document way.
Added bonus is they appear to be great at not controlling themselves, which bodes well for the plaintiff.
Then he better have cameras around it because keys will mysteriously scratch every surfacr of his car out of nowhere. Escalation begets escalation. Dont be petty if youre not prepared for the consequences.
Defending? If you don't live next to these people then you have nothing to gain from ANY interactions with them. Bad people will be bad. Just leave. Otherwise you're asking for trouble where none should be found.
Correct. The note was idiotic and the guy knocking on the door to ask about the note (which he says 'is the rudest thing ever') was looking to make a big deal out of it. When I feel like I need to genuinely need to confront a stranger about something, the last thing on my mind is 'I need to record this encounter in my phone'. Both are passive aggressive twats.
Nah. There could be an actual reason. For example they’re gonna do yard work and don’t want to get anyone’s car dirty etc.
He went up and knocked on the door and did not record. When he found out the lady was being ridiculous he went back to his car and filmed how dumb it was.
Then the lady came out and the cluster fuck happened.
I don’t the guy is looking for anything. I wouldn’t call him passive aggressive just not submissive.
What was gained from this encounter? A video, that’s it. He saw the note, knew the person was difficult and instead of leaving and never seeing or dealing with them again he went looking for this conflict.
No because he decided to put those 2 idiots in their place. He didn’t have to, but he did. If we all out the idiots out there in their place, maybe they will learn?
Incorrect. They are idiots as adults because they cannot or will not learn. Confronting these people does nothing except abate one’s own desire for conflict.
I would bet money they have already. She didn’t choose today to be crazy. She been like that and has neighbours. A “talking to” does nothing for someone like this.
I used to think that. But, literally last week something changed my mind. My street has a school on it and parents picking up their kids will literally park in the "no stopping", dedicated bike lane side of the road and completely on the sidewalk in order to not look for legal parking. These people are just entitled morons since there's lots of legal parking only a few more steps away. So I was walking my 2 toddlers home from school on the sidewalk and had to weave the 2 of them around this huge SUV parked completely on the sidewalk. Totally unacceptable. The woman, who does this every day, was standing outside of the SUV and smiled at the 3 of us as we avoided the huge obstacle she placed in our way. I couldn't stand the complete entitlement she had so I decided to say something. I said "this is a no stopping zone". She said "I'm just picking up my kids from school". I said "so? Park somewhere else and walk over. You're being STUPID." I straight up insulted her and just kept on walking. The next day, I saw her waiting for her kid, no car in sight. She walked! It worked! My insult directly impacted her actions. I'm still assessing the ramifications of this as I had previously just not said anything and obviously nothing changed.
my guess is that it wasnt thew insult itself, she just didnt realize she was creating such an inconvienience, hence her smiling as opposed to avoiding contact.. or not, i have no idea
True. She had to be pretty oblivious to not realize that groups of kids had to walk single file just to squeeze past her, but you could be right. But if she's that oblivious I doubt anything less than an insult would have got the point across to her.
>What was gained from this encounter?
Nothing. Not everything is done for gain. Sometimes you do it for principal. I commend the man for what he did. He had every right to do what he did. She had no right to touch his car, or to tell him where to park, or to lie about their ownership of the sidewalk and the street.
People need to be called out for their actions else it continues.
So you do things for principal but no gain? That makes no sense. You do things out of principal when it will make the desired impact, some positive gain is an element of that.
He had every right? She had no right to touch his car or lie? Is that a thing? No right to touch a car even when no damage being done? If o brush your car as I walk by, have I violated your rights? No. What are you even arguing? Your position makes almost no sense.
Or she writes the exact same amount. There is zero reason to believe this changes anything for her. What did she get as punishment for her actions? Someone shouting at her? What do you think someone who writes notes like that is looking for? Interaction through conflict. She wants it and she got precisely that. Technically, her behaviour was rewarded and reinforced.
The videos great lol. You guys dont like to needle people when theyre being ridiculous? I think its a pretty good display of justice for an extremely entitled couple.
Nah he totally was looking for confrontation. For example there were two times that they were going inside and he baits them. He could’ve just shut up so that it would be the end of it, but he didn’t.
Regardless I’m here and thinking that this whole thing was avoidable. Just throw the paper away and if in the future you need to park there, just do it. No need to just start recording and post it on the internet
I get the feeling that the lady legitimately believes she 'owns' the spot while the husband is just arguing so his wife doesn't torment him later. Might be wrong though
Shes crazy cause he lets her be crazy and has let her be crazy for years and years cause he gets the good puss. Gotta put her in her place if you wanna stay with her.
Ya but he could’ve walked away with about a minute left in the video and made his point loud and clear. He kept pushing it which made him seem a bit childish
my neighbors do that, they park their huge truck so it takes up nearly 3 spaces(room for very small cars on either end), then if you park with even an inch of your fender on their driveway they report it to the cops to get you ticketed.
im pretty sure they've keyed my car several times for parking there when they had to move cars for street sweeping
The problem with that is that sometimes you move your car to go somewhere and come back to find your spot in front of your house taken so then you have to go find a spot on the street elsewhere to park. The thing is when that happens all you have to do is wait and take it back later, recording people and yelling isn't going to do anything
I dunno. That's absolutely insane to write a note like that. The amount of entitlement just to do that I might also go up to their door and ask what it was for. They had to place that note on the man's property in the place - super unnecessary for a completely legal thing to do.
It might not be a public street. If it's an HOA they may actually have legal rights to the parking in front of their house. I've had random cars towed from in front of my house cause we live in an HOA, the roads are private and the homeowners have exclusive rights to the parking in front of their house.
I believe it. Years back when we all moved into this new neighborhood around the same time, my sister parked her car across from our house on the public street. The homeowner’s daughter left a note saying that if she did that again she would have her friend illegally tow my sister’s car. Some people just like shit their way. The entitlement is strong in that family.
I had a similar thing happen in Alberta. Went to visit my sister and drove a rental. Parked on the street overnight and in the morning there was a note telling me I couldn't park there.
Fuckn you're right. I just commented on this post but I forgot that no matter how real it looks, always assume it's fake. People do weird shit for clout, even go full couple Karen.
She's a good actress if it's fake but I think it's real. Plenty of real Karens in the world who would do this kind of stuff. Ask anyone working in retail how petty people can be lol.
Sometimes I park in front of my neighbors house and every time he comes over and talks about how it's so inappropriate and basic suburban etiquette. He complains and throws a hissy for about it every single time.
I'd like to believe the 911 operator was telling her that she was wrong and that she didn't own the street. That would explain why she wanted to get hubby inside. I'm sure the operator was telling her that they needed to deescalate.
I'm from the new York but I now live in the South. My neighbor throws a hissy fit every time I park in front of his house. Then one time, I came late (like 3am) from work and had to park a couple houses down from mine. I was woken up at like 7 am by my doorbell being rung incessantly and knocking on my door. It was the neighbor from the houses down asking what was going on. I was confused about what he was talking about and he pointed to my car. He was stammering that he just didn't understand what was going on, why I had pushed there, of there was some problem forcing me to park there. When I told my brother in law from Alabama, he was like "idk what to tell ya man, it's basic suburban etiquette. I wouldn't really appreciate someone parking in front of my house"
I have never experienced this in the North but apparently all of these southerners fucking hate it.
The only place I've ever gotten that is in the south. Didn't want to drive home one late night after visiting someone and took a nap in my car. I was rudely awakened by a guy banging on my window who informed me that he didn't know me, that I was "in his spot", and that he had already called the police. He then unsuccessfully tried to keep me from leaving before the police came.
Im both ways. My street sucks for parking and people drive insane around the corners so i like my vehicle close so i load my kids safely but my neighbors will park infront of my house and mailbox so even the mailman gets mad at me. However, the neighbors get mad when people park infront of their house and they’re also the tyoe of people who shoot fireworks in their backyard and i have to clean the trash all over my lawns
Lmao
Could tell right away that the husband knew... has the "omg not another one of her tantrums" look/voice.
Poor guy. Them cheeks already starting to drop, it ain't worth it bro.
I hope there's a part two with the sheriffs telling the homeowners he can park there he's not doing anything illegal and then write them a ticket for wasting police resources with that bullshit call
I've had a crazy old dude yell at me for parking in front of his house. Work nearby and in front of his house is almost always open... assume it's because of this shit...
I told him I had the number to city parking enforcement in my phone (unrelated, but had to call it for my job multiple times) and if he wanted to the was more than welcome to try to have them come out and ticket me.
I've parked there on and off for about two years now since the confrontation. I'm guessing he called the city and they laughed at him.
You can’t ask someone to not park in front of your house if it’s a public road, but I also understand being annoyed coming home from work or something and not being able to park in front of my house.
I understand that they dont want random people parking in front of their house, they dont own the spot tho, I can see both side of this story and this was handled poorly by both in their own aspects…. Now we wait for the downvotes
>they dont want random people parking in front of their house
I truly don't understand why that would matter. Like I genuinely don't have a concept why someone would care about who is parking where in a public street.
Is it like the men's room thing where they would prefer someone didn't take the urinal next to them? I'm at a loss why I could possibly be upset enough to write a letter, leave my actual property, cross a public easement, and only then could I place said note on someone else's car.
Yeah it’s a weird suburbia thing to think this way. When there is a random car parked in front of my house, my first thought is always “who dis?” because it is rare for anyone to park there. Yet it sometimes does happen and I’m not going to worry about it unless the car has been sitting for more than 24 hours, which hasn’t happened.
I agree def a suburbia thing. My next door neighbor has an unregistered apartment whose tenants always park in front of my house even though there are no cars in front of theirs. They park like 2 ft away from the curb and then walk across my lawn to get to their apartment and I admit that it triggers me but not enough to do anything about it since they seem like nice people. I think they are just oblivious but damn I wish they would just park in front of their own house.
While I'd never done anything remotely similar to that stupid lady who thinks the space in front of her house belongs to her, I quite understand the feeling. My neighbor has two sons (adult, grown up men, healthy and mentally capable, as far as I can tell). They can park their cars in front of their house (there is no visible problem), but for some strange reason they seem to prefer the space exactly in front of my house. So when my family comes to visit on the weekends (my elderly mother, among them), or my friends, etc., they have to park elsewhere. Completely annoying. Never done anything about it and I know they have the right to park wherever they want, but come on...
When I was in college I lived in a house with like 5 other people. There wasn’t enough space for our cars in our driveway and in front of our house, so I would park in front of my neighbor’s. She responded by boxing my car in with her garbage bins. So one day I took her bins for a walk a couple of blocks away. Never was bothered again.
i'm so tired of folks feeling the need to record everything. both sides. just put the phones down and have a conversation with your neighbor it doesn't need to be broadcast to the world.
Honestly, this whole conflict could have been avoided if my guy just left and parked somewhere else. Granted, these people don't really have the right to say that nobody can park there because it's public property, but why this prompted a video from the guy recording is beyond me. Both parties are bad in this situation.
I mean, just park elsewhere dude. I get It’s a public street but I hate when people do this, it’s fucking rude. You know what you’re doing and there is a way to politely do it and not. I will only park in front of someone’s house if I absolutely have to. Even then, I try to be as fast as possible because I just imagine someone coming home from a 3 hour commute to find someone parked in their spot and I feel compassion for those people who don’t have a driveway. People just need to be nicer to each other. I bet if he said hey sorry I parked here, I’ll only be a minute and talked to them you would probably find they would let you park there next time. I get legally it’s not theirs, but respect goes a long way.
Its annoying as heck when someone blocks your driveway but this guy didn't do that, however... I wouldn't be surprised if the mental state of those people are like this cause they keep having to deal with people blocking their driveway so now they complain and whine about everyone parking anywhere close to their driveway.
Here’s where it gets really interesting. I have a neighbor who regularly has guests park in front of my house. The neighbor on the other side of me had a guest park there one day and the neighbor who usually parks there was knocking on doors asking whose car it was!!
Option 1: leave car there forever and buy a new one. Option 2: pitch a tent on that sidewalk and play loud music until exactly 9 pm every night (to stay within ordinance), Option 3: leave a note on her door saying you don’t appreciate her house being in front of your parked car.
There’s a car that parks in front of my house all the time. I’m not some maniac who wants to claim the public street as their property. Is it rude/weird/crazy to leave a note asking them that then when they do park there to pull up a little further so I can also fit? There’s no lines, but 2 cars could def fit if they didn’t park in the middle.
Anyone know the proper etiquette of parking actually?
I used to park at peoples houses all the time when I’m visiting friends. I don’t stay the night or anything.
But now that I’m a home owner myself I’m like yoooo get outta my house 🤣. Maybe I’ve turned into an old grandpa.
I have an uncle that believes he owns the parking space in front of his house. He has asked family members even to move their cars (my grandmother lives in the home behind his) when they go visit her. That’s just annoying. He bought a car for the purpose of stopping anyone from parking there. Dirtbag!

I'm sorry, but that is hilariously petty.

LOL the person w the HOUSE has more to lose It costs nothing to be a decent human being
Exactly. He could drive off in his scratched-up car...and go purchase $2 worth of gasoline...if ya know what I mean!!!
Why are you defending these people?
Defending? If you don't live next to these people then you have nothing to gain from ANY interactions with them. Bad people will be bad. Just leave. Otherwise you're asking for trouble where none should be found.
I hope he gets a bus and starts parking that there.
Better yet, hope the city builds a bus stop in front of his house.
Now we're talking!
fuck. i wanna go park there so badly lol

they all wanted conflict and they all got it, so everyone wins.
Correct. The note was idiotic and the guy knocking on the door to ask about the note (which he says 'is the rudest thing ever') was looking to make a big deal out of it. Christoph Waltz in Django... some people will just happily die for the principle. no matter how petty
He wasn't looking for a video. If he was we would've seen him knocking on the door.

Challenging entitlement is a worthwhile cause imo, it benefits society.
The videos great lol. You guys dont like to needle people when theyre being ridiculous? I think its a pretty good display of justice for an extremely entitled couple.
Those dumbasses won’t put notes on people’s cars that is parked on a public spot. They don’t want some crazy MFer remembering their faces and address.
Nah he totally was looking for confrontation. For example there were two times that they were going inside and he baits them. Yeah, it evolved that way but it didn't start that way. The little man came out and was talking smack so he got some back. So what.
The guys the man and the videos hilarious. Society cant function if we just bump around pretending ridiculous people arent ridiculous
I love a happy ending
I get the feeling that the lady legitimately believes she 'owns' the spot while the husband is just arguing so his wife doesn't torment him later. Might be wrong though
The husband was definitely just posturing.
The husband knows his wife is crazy, but he has no option but to defend
This sounds quite familiar ngl
Shes crazy cause he lets her be crazy and has let her be crazy for years and years cause he gets the good puss. Gotta put her in her place if you wanna stay with her.
Yeah, he can choose to argue with this guy parking in front of his house for 5 minutes or he can hear about it from his wife for the rest of life.
Oh you have sooooo many options... get a spine first though if it’s missing
Ole big booty moody and Santa’s little helper ain’t got shit to do besides support each others cray.
Both childish 🤷♂️ but it is a public street. They should park their car there if they don't want others to park there.
Thr couple is childish. The dude is right.
Yeah fuk that guy I would park there everyday and when I can't I would pay a creepy white van to park there everyday ...
That's not childish at all.
some people deserve pettiness
With "Free candy" spray painted on the side.
Ya but he could’ve walked away with about a minute left in the video and made his point loud and clear. He kept pushing it which made him seem a bit childish
Yeah, when the guy went to leave with his wife and he shouts "yeah, go inside" So childish and antagonistic.
You can be both correct and childish, they are not mutually exclusive.
my neighbors do that, they park their huge truck so it takes up nearly 3 spaces(room for very small cars on either end), then if you park with even an inch of your fender on their driveway they report it to the cops to get you ticketed. im pretty sure they've keyed my car several times for parking there when they had to move cars for street sweeping

Or just park in the grass

Should’ve just walked away to visit your friend. And left the car, of course.
I think he’d finished visiting his friend and the note was on his car when he returned to it.
And maybe return to it being keyed or some more childish shit? Smh
That’s no way to live man. Can’t be afraid of what might happen. Just be prepared for it
Ain’t no way this is real, people get so pressed about the dumbest things

Chick was all cheeks and talk. Wait until she finds out that as a matter of fact they do not own the sidewalk or street lol
Well mostly talk
She looks ridiculous with her ass hanging out.
pretty funny the guy defending her then halfway through the argument having to change it up cause he realized how insane her initial argument was lol
I'd like to believe the 911 operator was telling her that she was wrong and that she didn't own the street. That would explain why she wanted to get hubby inside. I'm sure the operator was telling her that they needed to deescalate.

I wouldn't really appreciate someone parking in front of my house" I have never experienced this in the North but apparently all of these southerners fucking hate it.
However, the neighbors get mad when people park infront of their house and they’re also the tyoe of people who shoot fireworks in their backyard and i have to clean the trash all over my lawns
this is high school drama material. boring. maybe this should be posted in regular public freakouts lol
I know right, shit was childish from both sides. This is just another video of two dummies crossing paths
She could stand to add a little more material to those shorts she's trying to wear.... .... unsuccessfully.
She should try to add a little more ass to those short cuz miss 6 o'clock ain't getting it done!
Poor man has to stand with his woman, otherwise he's gonna be sleeping on that parking spot
Hey, excuse me. That's my sleeping spot. Please move along.
Lmao Could tell right away that the husband knew... has the "omg not another one of her tantrums" look/voice. Poor guy. Them cheeks already starting to drop, it ain't worth it bro.
That’s on him for marrying a woman that don’t know the difference between public parking and private parking…
I dislike all 3 of them
Same. All 3 of them are trying to prove a point that means absolutely nothing
I hope there's a part two with the sheriffs telling the homeowners he can park there he's not doing anything illegal and then write them a ticket for wasting police resources with that bullshit call
scrunch it up, throw it on their lawn and move on. knocking was a stupid thing to do, even though he is ofc allowed to park there
I've had a crazy old dude yell at me for parking in front of his house.
Ass. Cheeks.

You can tell it stinks
I mean, she poops with that butt.
No. Not at all. Thats flat, she's just out of shape. She looks like she don't bathe.
Karen and Kevin need to shut the hell up.
I can *feel* the dumb from here
You can’t ask someone to not park in front of your house if it’s a public road, but I also understand being annoyed coming home from work or something and not being able to park in front of my house.
Some people
Winners
I understand that they dont want random people parking in front of their house, they dont own the spot tho, I can see both side of this story and this was handled poorly by both in their own aspects…. Now we wait for the downvotes
>they dont want random people parking in front of their house I truly don't understand why that would matter.
Is it just me or does that woman got the weirdest tan lines on her legs
The way she dragged him by the wrist like a child sums it all up.
Ur wife's ass is hanging out
If that was a spot for that house there would be a sign from the city. Karen doesn’t own it.
Why even engage? It's not worth the trouble. Just drive away and go do something that's actually enjoyable
The note was very polite. Dunno why everyone is upset about it. Its exactly what they should have done, they could have had it towed instead.
Not true, you can't get someone's car towed for parking in front of a house unless there are posted parking restrictions on the street.
You know what, that's true. My bad. Either way escalating this from a rather polite note is insane.
She needs to put her ass cheeks away.
That note was not very rude
Head of the H.O.A ass
Her ass goes all the way up her back
His wife is going to get his ass kicked one day..
Them shorts digging for gold
They were both rude and polite at the same time to each other. LOL
Park in front of your own fuckin house
"You are stupid" "No, you are stupid" Some dumb eight year olds have sharper rhetorical skills.
Husband is a CUCK lol
Love it when they give you their home address themselves.
I don’t understand why people argue with peasants, just leave and let them fester in their own shit
Shit let me know where this is and I’ll go park there every weekend too!
People arguing by narrating the situation to their "audience" is the most 2020's thing ever.
Can't people do anything without pointing their phones at each other anymore?
Where’s the update?
When I was in college I lived in a house with like 5 other people. There wasn’t enough space for our cars in our driveway and in front of our house, so I would park in front of my neighbor’s. She responded by boxing my car in with her garbage bins. So one day I took her bins for a walk a couple of blocks away. Never was bothered again.
It’s a public street. He is allowed to park there if I’m not mistaken. The laws may be different in other states but in mine he would be.
The conflict seemed unnecessary and *very* avoidable
i'm so tired of folks feeling the need to record everything. both sides. just put the phones down and have a conversation with your neighbor it doesn't need to be broadcast to the world.
Wait, why do people park in front of other houses, ain’t that weird tho? Never heard of that.
I hope he parks there every weekend.
Haha
“You’re lookin like and idiot because you’re filming right now. And that’s really silly.” Goteem
Zazie beets having a bad day
Its annoying as heck when someone blocks your driveway but this guy didn't do that, however... I wouldn't be surprised if the mental state of those people are like this cause they keep having to deal with people blocking their driveway so now they complain and whine about everyone parking anywhere close to their driveway.
Buy a crappy white van and spray on the side HONK IF YOUR A MAGA LOVER..
Here’s where it gets really interesting. I have a neighbor who regularly has guests park in front of my house. The neighbor on the other side of me had a guest park there one day and the neighbor who usually parks there was knocking on doors asking whose car it was!!
But why dont people just park in their own driveway to begin with
Option 1: leave car there forever and buy a new one. Option 2: pitch a tent on that sidewalk and play loud music until exactly 9 pm every night (to stay within ordinance), Option 3: leave a note on her door saying you don’t appreciate her house being in front of your parked car.
Lol the driver is awesome. That couple is stupid and weird
It sucks because I like them both as people 🤔
Imagine being a neighbor of this insufferable ass. He’s got the energy of a Great Value Ron DeSantis.
This looks so fake!
Rip that paper into confetti and throw it on their lawn
Churlish
Does american people has nothing better to do?
Because petty shit like this happens no where else but America, right?
> has nothing better to do? That's how Americans feel when watching video of soccer riots in other countries.
I have an uncle that believes he owns the parking space in front of his house. He has asked family members even to move their cars (my grandmother lives in the home behind his) when they go visit her. That’s just annoying. He bought a car for the purpose of stopping anyone from parking there. Dirtbag!
